Great hosts. Cabin was stocked with loads of information about the area and things to do... even a grocery discount card to use. The coffee station has brewed coffee, Keurig, hot tea - very well stocked. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The front and rear porch are very comfortable, with beautiful views. This is one of our favorite places in the mountains to visit. Close to great hiking and lake fishing. A very good value for the money.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stay! I booked this sweet little cabin for my mom & sister during their visit from Florida to meet their grandson/nephew! It was perfect for our family gathering. Peaceful, serene, had all the amenities needed to cook in the kitchen, towels were available, TV & fireplace work great. Zachary was available by messenger for any questions! The only semi-cons is that the driveway is VERY steep. I’m a local, so this kind of driveway was no big deal for me, but for someone from Florida it may be scary to drive up. The hot tub was not clean/didn’t appear to be clean so we never used it. Bummer. Ultimately, i think the pros outweigh the cons of this place. It’s a beautiful place for family to gather!

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

Roberts house was an excellent stay for us. They have a fully loaded kitchen with many seasonings for cooking, pots and pans of all sizes, a grill, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The house is cozy inside and out, the beds and sofas are really comfortable too. We came to visit the Tail of The Dragon which is not too far away and there is plenty of parking available on site. I would not hesitate to rent out this Airbnb again!

What an incredible cottage. We booked last minute and were SO pleased. We hike, hike and more hiking so having a clean and comfortable place is always number 1. The home was peaceful and quiet and bright (big windows to see the beauty outside). The home was clean and had everything anyone could need. There were amazing instructions - never had to wonder. You could tell so much love and attention went into the home. We treated it just like our own and hope to be back. Great location not far from Hayesville or Franklin. The area is an outdoors paradise. Every cooking thing you could think of. Made cooking dinner so easy. The beds were comfortable and the master even had a fan - which I love. My husband left his phone charger at home. Joan even had one for his phone. Books to read and games and beautiful bird feeders to watch. Such a beautiful place. I so appreciated the no cleaning fee. We gave traveled all over and this one is one of the BEST! Thanks, Joan!

What a lovely stay! We really enjoyed making a fire and cooking by the river. Such an awesome location and only a mile from the Nantahala Outdoor Center. I’d highly recommend Donnie’s stay to anyone looking for a private get away in the mountains. We will definitely stay again.

Have been vacationing in Western North Carolina for about 30 years. The Sunset Cottage is one of the most enjoyable places that I have been to. It’s in a beautiful setting, off the beaten path, and you can get to everything conveniently from there. I would like to stay there again!

Beautiful downstairs apartment with private entrance. Felt very private from the main house. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large space and spotlessly clean! Lots of thought went into everything you might need. Snacks and drinks in kitchen and bath amenities. Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows top notch. Easy walking distance to beautiful Main Street with great food and shopping.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

One of the best stays we have had in Bryson City! So close to town, very homey with lots of extras. They have little notes and signs everywhere to assist you. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need including snacks and coffee, full size soaps , shampoo, cleaners , etc. They offer extra treats like little spa treatments, makeup cloth, robes for the sauna. There’s also lots of cozy blankets, Alexa operated heat and air, nice big living room with comfy sectional, well appointed kitchen, the list goes on and on! The beds and sheets were super comfy as well. Very impressed with this place and would definitely stay again

Personal taste, was missing a blender and a baking sheet hehe but not a deal breaker. The house was beautiful and made us feel right at home with its personal touches and cleanliness. Pictures are identical to real life and. Location was very peaceful with nature surroundings. Kelly was very responsive and quick. She reached out to us for any updates she had from the local area. Was easy drive to Smokey mountains and other attractions. Would definitely book again! 5⭐️s 😊

Lex’s cabin was clean, quiet and relaxing. Lake views from the deck and hot tub were beautiful. Lex went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and relaxing weekend. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

We booked this Airbnb last minute, and it turned out to be an absolute gem! Tucked away in a beautifully secluded spot on a peaceful creek, it was the perfect retreat for our family with four small children. The setting was serene, with the soothing sounds of the water creating a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor space was a dream—our kids had a blast playing cornhole and frisbee golf, while we enjoyed the tranquility of nature while enjoying a smore. The hosts thought of everything, and the home was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. If you're looking for a private getaway surrounded by nature but still packed with family-friendly fun, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

This is just a lovely place up on a mountain! Even if you don't have an SUV or AWD, don't let the driveway scare you. Our Miata NC made it up multiple times with no problems. Take the advice of the cabin owner and go slow in low gear. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a peaceful, quiet and scenic spot. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch rockers and relaxing. You will be away from the action/hubbub of Fontana Village and Bryson City, but can get to either in 30-40 minutes. This was much better for us than renting several hotel rooms. The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub area was nice, too. Owner communicates well and quickly. Thanks, Christina!

We enjoyed the seclusion of the area & availability of helpful information in the book at the door. If you’re visiting during the colder weather like we did make sure to pack extra blankets for the beds & throw blankets for yourself & be prepared for the possibility of snow. Another useful tip is to bring house shoes to ensure comfortability of the chilly floors. We highly recommend enjoying the cozy hot tub & the amenities offered. Michelle was a very responsive & accommodating host. We will consider her properties in the future shortly. I Highly recommend GTR Adventures to rent a side by size & enjoy the trails & sightseeing. We enjoyed it so much that my husband is going to purchase one of our own. After a long day the gas grill cooked up some excellent ribeyes & made for the perfect evening accompaniment with the coziness of the home. It was perfect for our little family and we definitely enjoyed the recharge & will be back soon.

The cabin was perfect. Loved the sound of the stream behind it. Great place to get away and relax. Hosts responded quickly when we had a question. No complaints from us.
