Takoha and Simon’s place was just a sanctuary! Absolutely beautiful surroundings, pristine house, and a very positive and high energy vibes. To top it all up, they were both lovely to chat with, very friendly, helpful, and super hospitable. Fara and I would love to come back in the future if we get a chance.

Sarah’s place has the best views and is easily located just outside of town. It was very spacious for me and my 3 friends and the hot tub was so relaxing! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for an at home dinner. The heated floors throughout the home were an added bonus, too! Would have loved an extra night or two at Sarah’s place.

We really enjoyed our stay with Takoha and Simon and would recommend them to anyone visiting Franz Josef. We were fine with the stairs (there are different levels) but worth bearing in mind if this is a problem for you. The house is really well positioned to be near lots of places on foot including restaurants and a supermarket but really peaceful. The bedroom was spacious and we slept really well. The setting is beautifully green and welcoming like a mini oasis. They kindly provided breakfast and made us feel at home, providing suggestions for walks and stops en route.

Eunice's place is very comfortable and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. We left the stuff in their property, they helped to post to our next stay in Queenstown. They are very friendly and warm hearted. We genuinely appreciate their help. Highly recommend to any guest.

Highly recommended, a perfect stay for a family. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and convenient. Host is very responsive and attentive. We would stay here again.

This was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in!! It's such a beautiful home, so comfortable, well-appointed, spacious & homely. All the wooden features were gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a proper meal. We loved the fireplace & the outdoor bath. The fresh eggs, milk, teas, coffees & hot chocolate were a wonderful bonus. Huge & very comfortable bed. Everything was stylish & spotless. This place is a little slice of paradise & we wish we could have stayed a whole week!

we were looking for something quiet and close to the beach, and this fit the bill. Plenty of room, especially if you’re hosting 4-6 people. on a sidenote, Allison reached out to me after I had forgotten my electric toothbrush and tried to return it to me. Above and beyond.
