We spent two wonderful weeks at Nils house. Our two girls (1 and 3) loved the house, especially all the toys and the garden with the trampoline and the playhouse. The house is very cozy, clean and stylish and equipped with everything we needed. It is perfectly located for exploring North Zealand, close to the fabulous Louisiana Museum, Helsingør, Copenhagen, .... There are lots of stores, a train station and a small harbor with a nice little beach, a delicious fish takeaway, ice cream parlor and pizzeria nearby. Nils is a great host, very friendly and helpful before and during the stay. We definitely recommend this beautiful place and would love to come back!

We had a great time in Ann-Kristina’s family home. We enjoyed the large garden and were able to easily visit Copenhagen, Helsingör, the Louisiana Museum and more.

Our second time staying here, and we would happily come back. Perfect for our family with two small children.

Denna pärla överträffar alla semesterhus vi hyrt på Själland. Läget mitt i hamnen i den vackraste byn Sletten är oslagbar, med utsikten över Ven och månens sken varje kväll. Det gamla gula huset med halmtak och prunkande bakgård har alla rätt, liksom den rustika men mycket stilrena och klassiska inredningen. Huset var rent, välutrustat och större än man kan tro på bilderna. Luftiga rum varav nästan alla med havsutsikt, ett socialt kök att umgås i och världens största matbord. Fina och sköna golv av klinker och notat trä uppskattades. En kort promenad bort ligger en sandstrand med lång brygga och i närheten kunde även hunden bada. En gourmetkrog finns i hamnen men fiskbutiken bredvid blev vår favorit. Värden Anne Katrine svarade snabbt via sms på våra två frågor om internet samt grillen. Allt löstes snabbt och vi fick den bästa av vistelser. Tack, vi kommer snart tillbaka! Britt med familj

Vi hade en mycket fin vecka i Christinas charmiga och vackra hus i Kvistgård. Huset ligger på bra avstånd till olika aktiviteter och sevärdheter, samt på gångavstånd till en större matbutik. Vi träffade inte Christina, men hade bra kontakt via sms och upplevde henne som en serviceminded och generös värd. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende!

Our second stay here - delightful and relaxing place. We previously used a hired car, but realised that public transport is adequate. A local bus takes you to the main station and Copenhagen, or to Helsingor and the ferry to Sweden. The wonderful Louisiana gallery is a short walk. Susan has a great garden with lots of seated areas on both sides of the house, as well as comfortable lounge areas indoors. Be aware that the host lives in the house - at the other end of the house, and you are sharing a kitchen and shower room with her (guests have their own toilet). This was no issue at all as Susan is wonderful company, and also left us with our own private space throughout our stay. The area is lovely and peaceful, cycle hire is available close to the station (alhough we didn't use it) and there are cycling and walking paths nearby. A great place to experience Denmark, with Copenhagen around an hour away from the front door.

Beautiful house a few minutes away from Humblebæk, Louisiana, and a beautiful little beach that our kids loved. The garden is amazing, with a porch perfect for lazy dinners in the sunset light. The house is big and beautiful, well equipped with everything you might need for yout stay. And the communication with the host has always been prompt and pleasant. We loved our stay!

Wow!!!!! Better than advertised. The photos and communication indicated it would be a great place to stay. It really was better than one can imagine. Near by grocery stores and great mid-priced restaurants made our stay great as well. The lake and park area was great for walking and pictures. In warmer weather it will be a great place to relax with lunch. The hosts were superior. They answered all our questions and provided written information and locations. This helped us daily. I know you and your family will enjoy your stay here!

Die Wohnung von Annette ist einfach großartig. Wir waren mit unseren drei erwachsenen Kindern über Weihnachten da. Die Wohnung liegt in einem wunderschönen Viertel, Bäcker, Supermarkt, Restaurants ist alles um die Ecke. Die Wohnung war ganz nach unserem Geschmack eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Hervorzuheben ist die super ausgestattete Küche, die wir wegen der Feiertage ausführlich genutzt haben. Wir hatten alle genug Platz, und das Wohnzimmer und der große Esstisch waren ein toller Treffpunkt für die Familie. Alles in allem empfehle ich die Wohnung sehr. Zudem lief die Kommunikation mit Annette sehr freundlich und reibungslos. 5 Sterne!!

This place is a real gem. The apartment is cosy, really stylish and the host is lovely. The bathroom is beautiful, the beds are comfy and the balcony has a nice view. I would come back anyday.

Jakob's place was a delightful: full of centuries-old charm and character, blended with modern amenities which created a stylish and comfortable space. The location is perfect for exploring the city. We loved being surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and easy access to the metro. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and convenient place to stay.

Hans has been a great host and his apartment was perfect. It is large, bright and very well set-up. We had all we needed and the neighbourhood is lively and fun. One thing to be aware of is that the apartment is on the fifth floor with no lift, but this was clear to us and not an issue, but important to consider for people with mobility issues. The apartment is very well equiped and comfortable. The internet was fast and reliable, and while the nights can be lively in the area, the bedroom overlooks the inside courtyard and given the top level of the apartment noise was not a problem. A great feature is the roof-top terrace although in practice everyone ends up congregating on the streets and around the lake. It is is very well positioned and within 5-10 min of Norreport station which is is a 30 min ride direct to the airport. Walking into town takes about 15-20 min. I would not choose to stay in another location in Copenhagen.

Vi havde et super dejligt ophold i Caroline og Sunes lejlighed. Lejligheden er meget hyggelig og charmerende. Masser af gamle fine detaljer og pænt istandsat. Den ligger supertæt på Ørstedparken, så vi lynhurtigt kunne gå derhen med vores lille datter. Nørreport St. er tæt på og busstop 1 min fra lejligheden. Det var hyggeligt at sove i den lille "hule" (soveværelset), som ligger på gårdhave-siden. Lejligheden ligger i stueetagen, så man kan rigtig sidde og kigge med på gaden og nyde københavner"stemningen". Der er gode persienner til at trække for, hvis man ikke ønsker dette. Brændeovnen gjorde det hele ekstra hyggeligt, og da vi ankom til indtjekning, havde Caroline tændt op i den til os og sat 4 øl på køl. Hele vejen igennem svarede Caroline hurtigt, var meget flink samt imødekommende.

The Rikke’s apartment is a fantastic option for families with children or people looking for a place to work remotely. The apartment is spacious, I have the impression that it is larger than it seems in the photos. There is a kitchen with a living room, bedroom, children's room and a room for work. Only the bathroom is tiny but it has a comfortable shower. The apartment is equipped with the necessary things for cooking and cleaning. The area is quiet and good for walks: close to the sea, the port, the Viking ship museum or the city center. For (cyclists) eager for big-city experience, the proximity of Copenhagen (to which a great bike path leads) is a big attraction. I highly recommend the Rikke Apartment.

This is a beautiful villa that comes with everything you could possibly need to host a small family. We immediately felt quite cozy in the space as the decorations were present, but not overstated. everything was very easy to find, the beds were made, and we even received a little gift on arrival! The surrounding neighborhood is incredibly safe as well. 10/10.

Cat´s Haus ist sehr gemütlich, großzügig und einladend. Zusammen mit dem großen schattigen Garten ein Wohlfühlort, an dem wir uns sofort heimisch gefühlt haben. Wir konnten uns hier zu sechst entspannen, im Garten liegen, kochen, grillen. Die Nachbarschaft war sehr freundlich. Cat war eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar war und unsere Verspätung am Anreisetag klaglos akzeptiert hat. Hornbaek ist ein beschaulicher Ferienort, mit nicht zu vielen Touristen, kleinen Geschäften, netten Restaurants, einem Hafen und wunderbarem Strand. Gleichzeitig ist es ein perfekter Standort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, natürlich nach Kopenhagen, aber auch nach Helsingor, in´s Louisiana Museum, in´s Schloss Frederiksborg, etc. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit sofort wiederkommen.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Het huis ligt op een hele bijzondere en rustige plek. Het voelt huiselijk en is modern. Dank voor deze herinnering en we komen zeker terug.

Probably the most wonderful hosts we have come across on Air BnB yet. Kim and Lone were absolutely fantastic to deal with. The house was clean, beautiful and well maintained. Free parking is available as the premises so getting to the central was just 20 mins by car. The house has all the kitchen equipment you possibly need and Kim and Lone have been extremely flexible in allowing us to check in a few hours early as we had an early flight. I not just met the most wonderful hosts but have made friends for life. We will visit this property again and will highly recommend this place to those planning to stay around copenhagen.

The house was wonderful and felt very homely. The photos don't show the homely feeling - our stay exceeded our expectations. Modern bathrooms with warm flooring, lovely wooden floors, completely equipped kitchen, lovely garden, view of the sea from the side of the house. Three full bedrooms as described, comfortable beds. Very peaceful surroundings. The house is within walking distance to the seaside and easy walk to the train station to get to Copenhagen and within walking distance of Helsingor town and shopping. We enjoyed our stay!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful time. Anna was super helpful and accommodating. we cooked and the kitchen has everything you need. the beaches nearby were a highlight. shopping is convenient. a great experience!

A wonderful large beach house with style - our multigenerational family loved this home. Access to the beach right across the street was wonderful and Henning was a gracious and very accessible to answer and address all our questions. This was a great beach house just a short train ride out of Copenhagen!

My daughter and her family stayed here with a 3 and 5 year old and it was a perfect holiday home. Spacious and comfortable with toys for the kids. The garden was amazing for playing and eating meals in the sun. The location was walking distance to the Beach, cafés, train station and mini golf! All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to any family visiting hornbaek
