Great stay for me, my wife, and dog

Perfect location for being close to Capitol Hill. The shower was incredible after a long day of walking and work. I was so grateful for the flexibility and generosity. Will absolutely stay again!

Tyler's place was perfect for our stay with our extended family. It's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax indoors and out. It has a very nice large porch and deck, great for some solitude or for kids to play. The beds were comfy and the linens ample, there are gorgeous large bathrooms and luxurious showers, the kitchen was well-stocked and included an amazing high-end stove, and the living spaces are nicely decorated and furnished with art and tons of books. One bedroom had lots of toys and kids' books, a very nice touch. Tyler was helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The location is very convenient to Arlington National Cemetery and within walking distance to a Metro stop. Everything about this rental was fantastic--we highly recommend it if you need a lovely space for a large group. Thanks, Tyler!

The home was perfect for our needs! It is an old row house so not very wide but the set up makes it feel spacious. The third bedroom downstairs doesn’t have a door as it is the open space at the bottom of the stairs but it still felt private. As with any old home with wood flooring, you can hear those staying with you but I never heard the neighbors (we had a baby with us so I know they heard her but they were gracious and friendly). Everything is updated and the beds were very comfortable. Maggie even had a pack n play sent over when we asked about one. She was very responsive and checked on us often. It is one block from the metro stop entrance and you don’t have to cross any main roads to get there! One more block to King St and you are at a bus stop. Buses and trolleys are feee on King St so that was very helpful and has stops every two blocks. We loved our stay here and always stay in Alexandria during our visits so we will be back to this rental! Thank you Maggie and neighbors!

This place was great for our two day getaway to DC to see the cherry blossoms. The instructions given made it super easy to find the place and once inside, it was exactly what we needed! It was also very accommodating to our pet friendly needs. When we come back to DC, we will be wanting to come here again.

Beautiful location. The cottages are a shared space with there being a smaller one behind the rock cottage. Wasn’t really expecting that but they left the next day so we were able to enjoy our stay with some more privacy. Hot tub was fantastic, bathroom spacious, kitchen accommodating. The walk around the meadows seeing all the animals was great. Would recommend.

The house was spacious, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. One of the best surprises was the large collection of jigsaw puzzles — we had so much fun working on them during our stay! A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful time at Kone Oasis. Our 3 girls loved the kid friendly amenities and it was a perfect location to stay outside of DC in order to do a visit there with kids. Jennifer was prompt in her responses and made sure everything was up to our expectations. Thank you!

Excellent stay and amazing host! The place is huge and has wonderful outdoor spaces. The rooftop deck is incredible. Wonderful views of the town and river. Walkable to the beach and many restaurants. Highly recommend staying here! 10/10!!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Absolute peaceful oasis. This home gives you every essence of Virginia Wine Country. The home was quaint and the deer came up every morning to greet us. I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open! Thanks again

Such a peaceful and welcoming stay! The cottage felt like a home away from home… cozy, quiet, and full of charm. The fireplace added a lovely touch, and the hosts were incredibly warm and kind. Outside was even better, a pool, hot tub, stunning starry skies at night, places to sit, and beautiful birds in the morning that you don’t see often in the city. A perfect escape from the city, highly recommend!

The perfect weekend getaway! MIm's Barn was perfectly quaint, cozy, and charming. We loved the tennis court, spa, and the peaceful surroundings. The local guidebook was very helpful and the proximity to Sky Meadows State Park was a plus! Thanks to our hosts for creating such a lovely, welcoming spot.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts provided some snacks for us to help us get started on our trip. Even though the weather wasn’t great our kids loved the house. They enjoyed the books and games available. And we were able to get out to a playground for a little bit between the rain. The house had everything we needed to feel like home away from home. Highly recommend

We stayed for 2 weeks and felt right at home. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Building is full of great amenities and helpful staff. Also loved the neighborhood - very walkable with great restaurants. Will stay again!

Absolutely loved stay at Miguel’s place! The neighborhood offered several delicious food options and the space was immaculate. It was a quick 15 min drive wherever we wanted to visit. This will definitely be on our list for our next trip to DC.

Lisa et Brian sont des hôtes vraiment adorables, ils ont proposé des services qu’ils n’étaient pas supposé nous proposer et se sont vraiment investis pour faire de notre séjour un moment paisible et d’exception. Nous avons adoré le calme de l’emplacement. Le jardin à l’arrière et les petites promenades de quartier avec bébé étaient très agréables. Nous sommes restés 10 semaines dans ce logement et n’avons pas regretté notre choix. Brian nous a dit qu’il allait veiller à rafraîchir un peu l’appartement avec de petits travaux, et la décoration ainsi que l’équipement sont vraiment super. Quiet and cozy home in the perfect location. We had a wonderful stay with beautiful views of the water (too cold in Feb to fully enjoy), and it was so convenient to be able to walk to local coffee shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend! The space was clean and looked just like the pictures, the location was perfect, the host was friendly and proactive. I would stay here again in the future.

We truly enjoyed our weekend at "Idyllic Mountain Home - Dog Friendly/great views"! It was all of that and more! Charlotte provided detailed info on how to run the wood stove (early March can get chilly) and we were warm and cozy on both levels all weekend. Other info about the house was very detailed. Our two corgis loved wandering around the property, which is elevated and very private! We took a hike with them on Saturday off of Skyline Drive, which was only about a half hour away; lovely! Dinner Saturday night was a milestone birthday celebration at The Inn at Little Washington, and it was worth the splurge! There's a small area near the bedroom where we set up the dogs crates and they were very comfy while we were gone. I highly recommend Charlotte's home for a weekend getaway!!

Was a perfect place to host Thanksgiving for my kids, grands, and our pups! We had a fun and peaceful holiday. The grands enjoyed the yard games, roasting marshmallows, the hot tub, and seeing the many deer that frequently visited. Our pups enjoyed being included and appreciated all the toys and beds for them. We hope to return in the spring to enjoy the water! Communication, check in, and check out was a breeze. 5 star stay for sure!
