Thandi's home was a beautiful artist's home. Beautiful artwork covered the walls, her backyard was a marvelously overgrown field of oxeye daisies. The open floor plan made it feel very spacious. It had games and books, I think aimed at adults more than kids, but I didn't spend too much time on them because we took a fantastic day trip to Lesotho. The house was perfect!

We had a beautiful peaceful time, the cottage was just the perfect size for our family. The view is spectacular and the walks lovely. We loved the dogs coming to visit and taking us on the walk. Will definitely go back.

Wir haben uns bei Julian gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es hat sich sehr um unsgekümert und uns sehr viele Tips gegeben. Der Ort selber ist einmalig. Wir haben die Ruhe und das Private sehr genossen. Der Hotpot war einfach super. Schon das einheizen und zu später Stunde das Bad unter dem schönen Sternenhimmel war einmalig. Auch das Bungalow und die Umgebung laden zum Verweilen ein. Aus dem eigenen Hofladen kann man Esswaren kaufen und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Wonderful views from the cottage with a well kept pretty garden. Great breakfast spot outside on patio and wonderful braai area. We were a group of 4 and found the cottage spacious and comfortable. A good location for trips up Sani pass.

This is our second stay at OLYF and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and facilities on offer. It’s a very beautiful and peaceful location. It is situated on a private and gated complex. The accommodation and facilities are of the highest standards. We will definitely return in the future when in the Bloemfontein area and would thoroughly recommend to stay here.

It was a very nice airbnb, great location, awesome views 🤩 Very friendly hosts and a cute visitor 🐶 Nice hiking spots around and near everything you need. Well equipped kitchen however some items (French press and pans for example) could have been better. Thank you for the nice stay. We would visit again!

I can honestly say that this cottage, its location (both isolated and near a good town, with many natural attractions) is absolutely perfect for whatever type of holiday one chooses. Robyn, herself, is amazing! So extremely helpful. She kindly searched if there were any road closures affecting my long journey to Underberg (R56). Everything is as described. Personally, I found it all even better. The lovely thatched roof cottage has so much useable space (both inside and out). Excellent for one person (as in my case), couples, families or even a group of friends. The drive into the property is half the fun - crossing a small stream was an added bonus. While in the area, I highly recommend driving up (and down) the Sani Pass - with an SUV (can be a 4x2 as I had); along with venturing into Lesotho - the newly finished highway is fabulous for about 60 kms (into the first major town). Try not to miss out on this spectacular scenery. On a sunny day this entire area is paradise

We needed to escape from the town and decided to treat ourselves to a night in the berg. The house was large and the surroundings were picturesque. Unfortunately the landscape had recently been burnt, I assume fire breaks, so the view wads not great. The location was nice and the farm easy to find. We had enough fore wood and blankets and the main bed was HUGE!!! Lovely stay, will be back in the summer season.

This is a really convenient and comfortable stay for anyone visiting Underberg. It’s close to the main attractions and a perfect stay for canoeing and cycling enthusiasts.

If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, Pear Tree Cottage is perfect for you. It has a fully fitted kitchen if you want to avoid the costs of eating out. It also has a beautiful front lawn to picnic on. The bed I slept in was very comfy and the linen was fantastic. The cottage has charm and character and is within walking distance to a easy hike. Fond memories were made.

Our stay at the cottage was great.... cosy ineterior with everything you need...wonderful firepit area...hiking trail on your doorstep and wonderfull views...our stay was during a business trip so did not have much leisure time....but we gad a great stay with a great host and felt instantly at home...Thank you to Gert for a great stay...!

The house was perfect for our holiday. The fenced garden was so nice for our toddler and dog so we didn't have to worry about the water. A real highlight was swimming in the river. The big veranda was lovely for lazy afternoons and braaing. The beds are very comfortable and lovely linen and towels. The kitchen has everything you need. Best if all you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere but there are shops and restaurants close by.

What a lovely cottage in a beautiful place! The house was clean and as shown in the pictures with everything needed for a lovely weekend away. It was easy to find with the directions provided and Santie was a most accommodating host. Thank you so much for having us

I had an extremely stay, Siphie was pleasant and laid back which made our stay that much better. Her place is lovely and peaceful it was scenic and away from the city which gave us the break and reset we needed.

Great place with listing matching the accommodation accurately. Views and amenities are lovely. No issues with anything! Would 100% recommend and return. Only downside were the amount of spiders in the house which is to be expected!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! I had an incredible experience staying at the Bronkhors’s.The place was exactly as described (if not better) – spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy bedding to the fully stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area next to the Vaal dam. Liezel went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, providing clear instructions, helpful local tips on fishing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Wonderful and generous hosts who shared a whole bag of fresh plums with us on our way out!
