Diána's place is an amazing getaway on probably the most beautiful beach of the peninsula. Bongay managed everything perfectly, was very hospitable and repsonsive. The place is very quiet, i loved that the party places were so close but from my room i already couldnt hear them. Bongay even let us stay later than the checkout time. We managed to book the place last minute on easter weekend, big luck and great flexibility by the host. The beach is quiet, good for surfing and swimming (should be careful with the whirls and undertows like anywhere in the ocean). Lumthubul is a great place to eat out, just a minute walk from Diána's place. I will come back soon.

This place is amazing!Nice and quiet, if you want your peace. Bongay is a nice and quit guy, respectful of your own privacy. Make sure to arrange the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in advance during your stay so he can organize everything for you!Otherwise there are options just few meters away!

Returning to Freetown, having lived there in the past, I was so very happy to see that the staff at the hotel showed all the best qualities of Sierra Leone; friendly, honest and helpful. They all made sure that my stay was as good as possible and the service really was excellent, any issues or queries were addressed quickly and with a smile. The driver even went back to pick up something I had left behind before I boarded the ferry to the airport! I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly stay by the sea in Freetown.

My stay at Omar’s place was simply excellent. The place is very well located, the sea view is unbeatable in Aberdeen. Omar is super reactive and the team extremely professional. Bonus points for the breakfast. I’ll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Freetown.

We had the BEST time here at Robinson’s Hut. So much so, that I stayed an extra night. The location is absolutely perfect, the beach is beautiful and private. Best beach I have been to in Salone. The accomodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. There was limited electricity and showering water, and the bathrooms could use some love but with the price and the location and the amazing people who work here I could not let this change me from giving a 5 star! The staff were incredible, nothing was too much to ask. We made such good friends with them. Thanks again Diane!

I had the pleasure of staying at Michael and Jessi’s condo in Freetown beach area, and it was an exceptional experience. The condo was immaculate, well-appointed, and provided all the comforts of home. The location was ideal, offering easy access to local attractions, food and amenities. What truly set this stay apart was the hospitality of Michael and Jessi. From the moment I booked, their communication was prompt and informative. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, providing personalized recommendations for local dining and activities. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests made me feel welcome and valued. The apartment was clean, light and spacious with the top notch appliances. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Freetown. Michael and Jessi’s dedication to their guests’ is exceptional, and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

My stay at Michael & Jesi's place was superb, very highly recommendedand I would come back any time! Jesi was around during my stay and was a wonderful and very helpful host. She picked me up from the watertaxi and gave me a lift upon return. She was always available for questions and did her very best to accommodate me despite the constant blackouts. The house is located just opposite the beach which is ideal for walks and runs. Also easily reachable with public transport. The flat itself was spaceious and very clean and was cleaned during my stay. The beds are comfortable (something to highlight in Sierra Leone!) and the bedrooms have AC. The kitchen was also nicely equipped. The compound is guarded 24/7 and I felt very safe there.
