Magical Modern Cottage with Garden

Find true escape surrounded by nature at this lovely modern cottage. Once featured in Dwell magazine, this home charms with its clever use of space, custom furniture and finishes, unique and tasteful decor, and outdoor patio and garden. Entire private cottage and shared side and backyard with patio seating. We are happy to suggest hikes, restaurants and other activities. We've compiled an extensive list of our favorite spots, both right in the neighborhood and also farther afield. The property is located in Rockridge, and also quite close to Temescal. Both have lots of great shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and amenities. We are very pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the Rockridge BART station. BART provides easy access to SF (about 20 min) and other parts of the Bay Area. Parking on our street is free and usually plentiful. Street sweeping is on the second and fourth Monday/Tuesday of each month (check signs to be sure). The bedroom of the cottage is located up a short flight of stairs, so it isn't ideal for anyone with compromised mobility. The bathroom shower is fully functional but some particularly large/tall people may find it a little tight.

It is walking to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores. Next to Crown beach with spectacular view of San Francisco. Parties are not allowed. Top speed Internet. Pet allowed, $50 per stay.

Linger over a coffee in the zen, vine-covered courtyard at this secluded cottage nestled in the back of a period property in Berkeley. Crisp white sheets, craftsman furniture, and painted wooden cladding make for a sophisticated yet rustic haven. The main room is cozy with a big skylight, comfortable queen bed, swivel chair, and desk and chair. There is a small kitchenette. Within 1 or 2 miles, you can ride your BIKE or CAR to Stanford, Tesla, GOOG, Meta/FB and Amazon.

This charming updated cottage is located between Piedmont Avenue and Temescal districts two of Oakland's most convenient and vibrant neighborhoods. The cottage is within walking distance of shopping, parks, restaurants & transportation BART (Subway) MacArthur Station is only 4 blocks away. Take BART straight from Oakland or San Francisco airport. Off-street parking for 3 cars or RV. Fantastic office space. This is a great place to call home when visiting the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area.

This lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath cozy cottage is a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful coast of No. California. The cottage is tucked away in silence interrupted only by the faint sound of the distant ocean. It has a spectacular ocean view surrounded by a peaceful pond, incredible sunsets, lots of trees and wildlife. Sits 5 minutes from Bean Hollow Beach and many others minutes away between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. This cottage is safe and private with beautiful outdoor living.

COVID-19 update: We do enhance deep cleaning and sanitization after each guest! Separate HVAC system. Charming, quite cottage with two separate units located in downtown San Jose. Comfortable for 2-3 people. Within walking distance to City Hall, not far from the Convention center, SJSU, SAP Center, bars, and restaurants. Anyone looking to experience San Jose will be sure pleased. The big grocery store and Ford GoBike rent station are right across the street.
