Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Katie, the exceptionally friendly and highly responsive host, ensures a smooth and enjoyable stay. The surrounding mountains and streams provide a serene backdrop, while the snow adds a magical touch to the experience. It’s truly a perfect getaway! To top it off, Katie even gifted us a bottle of her very own Barn Door Cider, which was a delightful surprise. When our work assignment unexpectedly ended early, Katie went above and beyond by working tirelessly to help us figure out the remaining days of our stay within 24 hours. If you’re seeking a real-life Hallmark movie town, this is the place to be. I highly recommend visiting again on my next vacation.

This was my second time to stay at Pilot Cove this year and I will be back. The cabins are conveniently located and have everything you need. The minimal design is appealing as well. Great place to stay!

We loved staying at Beech Sweet! It’s a small space, but it’s a cute place to stay right in the mountains, with just stunning views in a beautiful area. John and Erin were amazing, helpful, and understanding hosts. The suite was perfect for our stay, and we particularly loved spending evenings in the pool area or on the porch, enjoying the sunset over a mountain in the distance. So grateful to have stayed here!

Aaron was very responsive and great to work with during and after the rental process. Very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Great place to be able to spread out. Our dog loved the fenced yard.

My husband and I came up from Georgia for a few days. We enjoyed the trip there. It was really nice coming back to the quiet condo after a day of attractions, in the area and shopping. We will definitely keep this place on our list.

We have stayed at Riverstone several times and this was by far our favorite condo! The linens were high-end and comfortable. There were items provided that we normally have to purchase. The location was great and the view of the river was beautiful!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was comfy and very clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet setting- the backyard was equipped with all we needed for the perfect little get away. We would gladly visit again. Thank you Bryan for your hospitality.

Fantastic House at Lake James! You will be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view. the house sits near the top of a hill overlooking the lake. The view is amazing, and lots to do in the local area. Andrew was a great host, very proactive and everything was just as he said it would be! The house has a boat dock, great for anyone bringing or renting a boat. The stairs up and down to the dock are a journey for most of the homes on Lake James, but they are worth the effort! My family loved the home and the area, I hope we will be back!

Beautiful home in an even more stunning location. Taking in the sunrises and sunsets was wonderful! Home was the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed. There’s everything you need! Beds were very comfortable. About 5 min drive to town yet feels very secluded. We enjoyed our time! Thanks to Mark for a great stay!

Cherry blossom, Lodge was amazing! The house, the games and the creek/riverare all wonderful! If you’re considering staying in Townsend, this is where you should stay! Meredith, was awesome with her communication, and we will definitely be back to stay!

Staying at Vivian’s house was a pleasure. Everything was clean and worked well. Had no issues while there. A nice deck to sit out on. Has easy access to get to Johnson City and nearby Bristol. I would stay there again and look forward to doing just that.

Stephanie’s place was just as described. And what a wonderful hostess. Very quick to respond & just a friendly lady and so easy to communicate with. Me & my girlfriends enjoyed our weekend thanks to great accommodations! Thank you again, Stephanie.

Located in the back of an art gallery. There is a nice archway of tree branches and plants over a slate walkway. Entry was easy. There is plenty of natural light in the place. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are pots, pans, silverware, plates, coffee mugs, glasses, wine glasses, garlic press, coffee whisk etc, etc, etc... There is a TV with Amazon Prime. They had a Brit Box subscription and we watched the Joan series at night. The futon folds out to a bed. There is a mattress topper that we used to make the futon more comfortable. There is also a rollaway bed frame with a twin mattress. It was comfortable as well. This is my first time renting a place with no actual bedroom but it was fine. The linens were new and there was a cozy couch blanket. The is step down into the bathroom but there is red reflective tape and a motion sensor light by the door. The bathroom has a large tub/shower, washer/dryer, Tide powder for washing, hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner.

Perfect location to Beech Mountain resort, past the main part of town so you don’t have to deal with the traffic. Home was perfect-exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathrooms were updated and beautiful. My kids loved the place, as did we!

the views were beautiful . The fire pit was such a nice experience . We were able to make s’mores & enjoy the heat from the fire. The place looked just like the pictures , even better in person. I stayed here for my birthday. It was very enjoyable and we would love to come back! The host was very helpful. The water stopped working and they had someone out no more than a hour. 10/10 would recommend .

Excellent place to base your fishing excursions on the SOHO and Watauga Rivers. Location is perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast 20 steps from your door. Room to safely park your trailer raft or boat. Brady is an excellent host, willing to share his thoughts on fishing the ever changing local rivers. Will definitely rebook when we return. Cheers!

Absolutely LOVED this cozy cabin. It was everything we wanted and needed for a lovely Christmas vacay especially the fireplace. Burned a great fire all day every day during our stay. Highly recommend this private, serene forest oasis and definitely plan to go back.

Beautiful views overlooking the Smokies, Ober Mountian Trams, and downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. Zack was very responsive with any needs we had throughout our stay. Instructions and recommendations were very thorough, which we were thankful for. Kids had a great time in the game room and hot tub almost every night. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin !!
