French Broad River : locations de vacances

We had an amazing time! The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed. View was amazing. Perfect for morning coffee at sunrise. The kids loved all the games downstairs… right up to the time I had to show them who the real foosball champion is. :) Clean, near town, great hosts, had an amazing time. We would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Estuvimos aquí pasando el fin de año, la casa tiene una ubicación increíble, muy cerca de todo. La cabaña es hermosa 😍 quedamos encantados y sin duda volveremos. Es increíble como los anfitriones tienen todo preparado al detalle, cremas para el café, todo lo necesario si deseas cocinar hasta carbón y todo lo necesario para la barbacoa, todo el grupo está muy agradecido y encantados con el hospedaje, sin duda regresaremos el problema año. Lo recomendaría 1000 veces. Gracias 🙏

This cabin was exactly what we needed. It was very pristine and everything was exactly as pictured. The host was always responsive with anything I asked. The hot tub was the best we’ve had at a cabin so far and worked perfectly unlike others that were old and weak in the past. It snowed the last day there and we enjoyed the views from the balcony. The large windows and porch provide an amazing view of the large mountains nearby. It was a winter wonderland. The fireplace was great and blasted heat as it is just controlled by a dial that is extremely handy for immediate heat and beauty. The bed slept amazing and we were very happy with the overall set up of the cabin. We would definitely stay in this exact cabin again on our next trip.

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

My wife and I wanted to have a little get away for our 6 year anniversary, and we’re so glad we chose Julie’s place. It was super pretty inside and out, it was in a very quiet and relaxing area. Not only that but the view of the mountains and landscape from the sunroom, as well as the patio was absolutely gorgeous. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tub, and how relaxing it was to soak in it. I loved most how Julie is dog friendly and our furry child loved running around in the dog yard. We are most definitely going to be planning to return again soon. My family had a fantastic experience staying at The Great Escape. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area and get around. Michaela was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating, ensuring that everything was set up for a comfortable stay. The home was equipped with several thoughtful amenities that made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Great place to stay. Very clean with lots of games and things to do inside when not enjoying local attractions.

What a view!! Jen's place was just what our family needed for our Christmas gathering. From a peaceful, private property to being pet-friendly with supplied large dog beds to multiple buildings with unique construction and space for everyone to one of the most fantastic views we've ever experienced from the enormous deck, we loved our stay! We hiked the property down to the river, played board games (there were many supplied), fellowshipped, watched a movie and enjoyed Jen's place tremendously. The pièce de résistance was seeing two Bald Eagles (one landed in a tree just outside the main area) just as we finished our closing prayer right before we checked out. Jen was very accommodating, proactive to our needs and communicated with us quickly, putting us at ease. It was a pleasure to meet her at checkin as she helped get things ready for us. We are already thinking of doing this again next year! Did we say, "What a view!"? :)
