Absolutely lovely stay in this cottage. Our whole family enjoyed the stay and felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. Christine was always responsive to queries and provided a wealth of information in the welcome pack before we arrived. This enabled us to plan fully and make the most of our time on the new forest.

We couldn't have wished for a nicer stay in the New Forest! The cottage is equipped everything you need, is located in beautiful surroundings with ample cycling routes nearby, and has a hot tub as an added bonus. Cindy and Lina are super accommodating and attentive hosts. We will most definitely be returning!

First of all we have to give credit to Ashley who was a fantastic host. Had a minor issue and Ashley responded and dealt with it straight away. It was clear he wanted to ensure his guests had a perfect stay. The cottage itself was perfect and exactly as described in the listing. Extremely spacious and stocked with all the items you might need. The garden and outdoor hot tub/living area is incredible. We were fortunate to have good weather during Easter and I imagine during the warmer months it would be even more idyllic. We had three children in our party and they loved all the space. Location is ideal for exploring the island. We went to The Needles, Shanklin, Sandown, Tapnell Farm and Robin Hill and were never more than 25 minutes away. Highly recommend Ashley's cottage and we can't wait to return one day.

We have just spent the Easter weekend at this wonderful cottage - 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years old, and I have to say that Joel & Gaby’s place near the new forest is absolutely fabulous. Very spacious and ideal if you are looking for a getaway with a hot tub and table tennis in the garden. The cottage is in a great location, about 10 min drive to Paultons Park with peppa pig world so an absolute must for kids. It’s also not far from the new forest itself and Lyndhurst town. It was really tidy & clean, with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms stocked with fresh towels. We were left a lovely gift on arrival of fresh bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of Prosecco which was an absolute treat! I couldn’t recommend this cottage more - thank you Joel & Gaby we had a fabulous time and would stay again in future.

The hosts were helpful from the moment we booked our stay. We were given clear instructions on where to arrive and were greeted as soon as we pulled into the carpark. They explained all the necessary information and answered all of our questions and were very helpful. They were always available if we had any queries and gave plenty of local recommendations for food and activities. We would 100% recommend and would be more than happy to book again.

We had such a fantastic time in Jocelyn and David’s Air B & B with our 11 month old twins. The place is very child friendly with cots, highchairs and plenty of toys which our twins loved to play with. Everything is very cosy and comfortable (with comfy sofas and beds) and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was also very clean. We also enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hot tub after we put our twins to bed. It is in a great location with plenty of great nearby pubs and walks. A big highlight was all the amazing gentle and friendly animals - horses, a donkey, and chickens to name a few which we and our twins enjoyed going to see every morning. We also thought Jocelyn and David were thoughtful hosts and very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend to families or couples. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jocelyn and David!

We had a fantastic few days in Godshill, staying with elderly parents and 2 young children. Host was very helpful and let us check-in a bit early, the house is beautiful and has everything you need with perfectly labelled instructions. Very comfortable beds and loved the hot tub and games room! Thoroughly recommend!!!

Absolutely loved the Bothy! We especially liked the hot tub it was amazing and so easy to use just take the cover off and straight in! Also super clean and bed was very comfortable, the whole cottage was perfect. we will 100% be coming back hopefully soon. Also would definitely recommend the potting shed for breakfast it was great!

Lovely way to spend a few days over the Easter hols the kids. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable, thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely little cottage. Really cosy and plenty of space. Great pubs nearby all in walking distance, and some lovely walks too. Great place to take the dogs! Thank you for such a lovely break!

This was a lovely cosy cottage within easy walking distance from the center of Cowes where there great places to eat and drink, highly recommended for a weekend break in a lovely part of the country

A beautiful little cottage, well appointed, very comfortable with exceptional views. It would be even better if the communal garden area to the front was fully enclosed so our dogs could roam safely. The beds were super comfy, kitchen was immaculate and had everything you needed. You can hear noise from Neighbours especially kiddies shouting but it was extremely quiet at night. Nearby woodland was a gem to walk through, the dogs had a ball. We would definitely stay again

Lovely home from home cottage. We stayed with a toddler and he loved it. The host helpfully provided a cot and high chair. The cottage is close to local amenities. Lots to visit on the island.

Beautiful, nicely refurbished Victorian cottage with stunning views of Ventnor and the sea. Perfect for the Isle of Wight getaway :)

Nicole’s place was ideal for a spring break, property was fantastic 5 minute walk into the village, and 5 minutes walk into the magnificent forest to walk the dog in the morning. Highly recommend gardeners retreat. Ideal to get away and relax yet have enough on your doorstep to keep you entertained.

A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

Great little find! Loved the outdoor space where we were able to sit and have food with family. Log burner was lovely in the evening and made it even more cosy. Shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will recommend and will definitely book again

I would highly recommend staying at Sandra's beautiful cottage. It is so well equipped, comfortable and cosy - a real home from home - and idea for long and short stays. Everything was immaculate and the bed and sofas were so comfy. And Cookie loved the dog bed and bowls that were provided. Sandra has provided lots of ideas for trips and places to eat locally. We will definitely return!

Wow! What a fabulous find - cute little cottage with everything with needed - clean/comfortable and a fab garden area to enjoy the sunshine - perfect location for cycling to the New forest or walking into Lymington.

Lucy is a brilliant host, very responsive and friendly too. The cottage is in a great location and it's easy to get to the local shops and restaurants. Parking is easy and the cottage has everything you need and more. It's a lovely place to stay.

We had a lovely stay - lovely house, very comfortable and easy to live in - home away from home! It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier (4pm felt very late) and checked out later (10am is very early) but apart from that we had a great time and I would recommend the cottage for those wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. It was a bit further away from the beach than the photos suggest but walk is pleasant and the beach beautiful.

Lyn and Chris are extremely friendly hospitable hosts. They are there when you need but never intrusive and they both deserve all the fab comments 😊 the cottage was spotless and luxurious. Very high spec, from Molten brown toiletries to the lovely smelling Jo Malone diffuser. With the sauna you could think you’re in your own mini spa. Lyn has thought of everything, even down to the hot pasties each morning and the extremely well stocked fridge and kitchen . Everything you could wish for and more. We loved the sunny bench at the end of the garden, the grounds and wildlife. We had such a great time. Even coal for a bbq. Really everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our break amazing and best of luck to both of you 🥰
