The house is perfect, beautiful and super cozy. The children loved everything and felt at home. The neighborhood is very friendly, with supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants within walking distance. Nikhil is a very approachable, communicative and friendly host. The house was impeccably clean, thanks to the excellent work of Eve. It was a wonderful experience!

Robyn's home is a local gem. Less than 50m from multiple coffee shops for your morning kick-start and then restaurants for any other meals during the day. Mountain views from the back yard and all the amenities you could want for a short or long holiday. Robyn was an excellent host and we would be happy to book with her again!

Ethel and Earnie are truly amazing hosts, kind, welcoming, and so much fun to be around! From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home and went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful experience during my first visit to Cape Town and South Africa. They treated me like family and genuinely cared about my safety, especially when I mentioned wanting to go on a solo hike. Thanks to their thoughtfulness, I ended up hiking with their lovely friend, Mark, and we had an unforgettable time. Their home is warm and comfortable, and their hospitality made my stay extra special. Ethel’s food is absolutely amazing, delicious and made with so much love! I never expected to make such meaningful memories in just half a day. And I can’t forget Blaze, the sweetest dog and such a lovely companion! I already miss all of them and will definitely be planning another trip back. Highly recommend staying with Ethel and Earnie.

Phakalane offers a serene retreat with expertly curated interiors and warm communal spaces, including a crackling fireplace for chilly mornings. During our late February stay, daytime temperatures hovered around 25°C, paired with blissful silence—no traffic or barking dogs. Our main-house room featured a spacious 180cm bed (generous by South African standards), 24/7 coffee machine access (complimentary espresso/coffees), and a beloved private steam shower. Breakfasts shone with standout shakshuka, fresh bread, fruits, and other vegetarian options. The property’s highlights include a striking 7m-high conical meditation hall and outdoor wellness facilities: sauna, cold plunge, pondside yoga shala, and sun loungers with plush cushions. Impeccable upkeep and cleanliness elevated every space. Perfect for relaxation or spiritual recharge, Phakalane’s harmonious design and tranquil atmosphere make it an effortless recommendation.

Mosidinyana is an amzing host and she will make sure your needs are met. She is also a wonderful person to talk about the history of South Africa which I felt was the best part of my experience.

After a morning and early afternoon walking around Kirstenbosch Gardens, Penny's was the perfect place to wind down and relax. She was a great host and gave us privacy to do our own thing. The touches she added to the space were excellent. I highly recommend this place for a nice city escape. Absolutely lovely.

Will definitely add this apartment to my preferred accommodation when I have to be in the city for business. We felt safe, the apartment had everything we needed, and Gareth & Faye were responsive and incredibly helpful.

Stay was really great. The location of the appartment is well located, lots of restaurant and stores from a walkig distance. View is amazing, really clean and all the aminities required. The host is easily reachable whenever necessary, although the instruction are very clear on everything useful for your stay. Great stay all around, if i could rate it out of 10 i would give a 9.5+

Erica is an amazing host, she is a very genuine person, kind & considerate, and makes one feel immediately at home. The unit I stayed in is private, spacious, gets plenty of sunlight and has a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and get a view of the mountain. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance from the Rondebosch common, golf course, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended, I will definitely stay at Erica's again.

Excellent, private little B&B tucked away in Sea Point. Staff was always helpful. No great views from my room, but the beautiful scenery was only a few minutes walk down to the promenade. This area has lots of security personnel so at no point did I feel unsafe during my visit to Cape Town. Many excellent restaurants within a half mile.

What a gem of a place! sparkling clean rooms, incredible location, yummy breakfast, and the best value for money in Cape Town that I've ever seen. Because of the price I thought it was going to be hostel style, but this was a charming b&b. thank you so much and we'll see you next time!
