Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We really enjoyed our stay at Woolwich. There is a peaceful nature vibe to the house and a beautiful view and location. The Bald Eagles live in a tree right on the edge of the backyard and were visible numerous times during our stay. The location to various towns and locations in Maine is convenient.

We’re a family of 8, including 3 grandchildren (girls). Meghan’s beautiful antique home has plenty of room for the girls to explore. Additionally, the lower level has a media room the girls claimed for themselves. Kitchens are fully equipped for prepping meals for large families and have modern appliances. Two gathering areas (one on each floor) are well furnished with plenty of seating for large families. Artwork is tasteful and attractive. Our family spent a couple of hours each day in the secluded hot tub. The robes and sandals are a nice touch. Bedrooms are spacious, well furnished with comfortable beds. All three bathrooms are modern and clean. Meghan was very helpful in researching activities suitable for our girls. We are very pleased with the accommodations at Meghan’s home and look forward to returning on our next trip to Portland.

We had the most amazing stay at Madawaska! Amazing views from the bedroom and hot tub in a beautiful, peaceful, and private location overlooking the water. And such a wonderful design of the cabin. We will definitely be back!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

This house has a beautiful location super close to the beach and a close walk to restaurants and activities. It has great views and plenty of room for a large group! Check in was super easy and they greeted us and went through everything so clearly that we knew where everything was and how to use it all - which was very helpful with such a big place with so many amenities. The hosts were communicative and helpful leading up to our stay and again with check out. The house itself is stunning with everything stocked for your stay. The only thing to be aware of is that there is a train that runs close by so definitely bring your sound machine. Would definitely rent this place again!

Great hot tub! Wendy was responsive and helpful. The area is super cute.

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

This home is amazing! It was perfect for our group of ten family members that were in the area to celebrate a wedding for the weekend. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and we were so impressed with their hospitality!! So many nice touches and such a spacious, comfortable home - no detail overlooked. Enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return.

Such a magical, historical and peaceful place. It was nice seeing Acadia but we couldn’t wait to get away from the crowds and back to the quiet of this beautiful place. Thank you Brady!

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

This gem of an apartment gave us so much peace and joy on our quick getaway to Portland. The interior reminds me of beautiful homes in Denmark and Norway - humble, functional, cozy, and lovingly designed. Both bedrooms and the washroom were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Loved watching the sunset over the amazing view in the living room, and the cute park/sunset spot just a quick walk away (perfect for bringing our puppy). Sadie was a gracious host and made us feel so at home. Would definitely visit again!

We loved our stay at Katie's house in Portland. It was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We would love to stay again soon!

It was the perfect location for a group of 6. Plenty of space and comfortable common area with a nice large dining table. Wonderful location and very walkable. Host was proactive with communication and very responsive. Highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful stay and would absolutely return!

Great location and great host! Super interesting and thoughtful artwork, wonderfully close to our destination (daughter visiting Bates college to consider attending there), and a super friendly and helpful host. Can't be beat!

Great 2-level apartment with terrific deck and beautiful view overlooking the river. Quiet and pretty. Owners were very responsive and the kitchen is very well stocked. Nice rustic touches and great running/walking trail along the river, just down the road. WiFi works well. Recommend upgrading the beds as they are small and not very comfortable. Otherwise a great property!

We loved the old building with so much charm and character. The place was clean and well furnished. The surrounding is beautiful and location is convenient. Plenty of beds, but remember, they are all narrow twins. No queen bed in any room. More of a dorm set up in each room. Kitchen has enough utensils, plates and silverware for 20. But carry your own spices and condiments- including oil, salt and sugar. This house is part of Poland Spring Inns and Resorts.

Maryann was friendly, responsive and quick to reply. She left baked goods and coffee out each morning which was a pleasant surprise. The space was easily accessible, private and spotless. We would definitely stay here again

Home is very expansive with room for multiple families to reside together. Lots of games and activities for all ages. Amazing location within minutes to airport and short drive to downtown

My husband and I, and our two pups had a fantastic time in the Carriage House for a week. Part of a breathtaking private/secret compound on the water…with the most incredible private tidal pool. The place is so authentic, which is what we love about staying in ME when we can escape. We were so blessed to find Margaret’s place last minute. Margaret’s mother, Sally, and her husband were in the main Kate’s house. So so sweet they were to us and our girls. A dog paradise. We are foodies. Plenty of good restaurants around - just a few minutes to the adorable village of Stonington. Around the corner is one of the best restaurants in the country - Aragosta. We can’t wait to return…hopefully, in the Fall. A trip we will always remember. Thank you, Margaret & Family.

We had a great time at Teri’s place. The condo was described exactly, clean and had everything that we needed. The beds and furniture were. very comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful with nice chairs set out to enjoy your coffee. It was a 30 second walk to the beach, which was great for having a Toddler. The pool and laundry was a plus. When we head back to OOB we would stay again.
