A great place to stay and relax. Just what we were looking for. The place was great for a couple. Wendy was always available to answer any questions and recommend good places to go to eat or the best beach. If in the area we would stay again.

Awesome place to stay, highly recommend! The Airbnb is exactly what it says it is and during peak tourism would be perfect to stay.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

My two friends and I were staying for a “girl’s trip,” and we absolutely loved our stay at Buxton. Great area close to the beach, whimsical walkway, and cute little cats!! We loved spending time with the kitties after we got back from the beach. Would love to return! Thank you for your hospitality, Noreen! :)

The Vintage Mermaid was delightful! Super clean, comfortable, all the amenities we needed and best of all only feet from the beach, which was not crowded! Avon is a cute little location with a handful of restaurants, fresh fish markets and delicious ice cream at Cups and Cones. Highly recommend!

We loved Melissa’s place it was clean, quiet, and beautiful. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and short drive to other attractions, food, and fun. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the beach! We even got to view the northern lights from the deck. Pretty close walk to the beach. Lots of kitchen supplies, pet friendly - although our dog stayed at home this time. We love the location and would like to stay again. Marsha, was a very responsive host and easy to communicate with.

We LOVED our stay at 3 Angel's Haven! This was our second time around and once again, Nicky could not have been nicer. There are six of us - three couples - so the room layout, each with its own bathroom, works perfectly for us. A short walk and we're at the beach. A short drive and we have our choice of restaurants, grocery, and fun, outdoor activities. We choose to come to Avon in the winter for a quieter vacation and we're coming from Wisconsin, so the colder temps were still 30 degrees warmer than home. We will be back.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

We had a mini family reunion to celebrate my 60th birthday. The home was perfect for our family. We had planets of room to share meals together. We had fun playing the games the host had available for guests. We had a lot of fun hanging out and relaxing by the pool and in the hot tub! We had fun competing to see who could win the most games on the pool table. We would definitely recommend the home to others interested in a relaxing and fun week at the Outer Banks! We would love to stay there again.

Our long weekend stay was peaceful and just what we needed to recharge. The beach chairs and boogie boards were nice to have for the beach! The walk to the beach was a little confusing at first, but once we found the right path it was very quick. Overall we loved our stay, especially the sleepover environment with the loft!

Awesome find! The place is small, but our family of 4 was super comfortable here. Well equipped, with high quality linens and comfortable beds. We always bring our own pillows but we didn’t even need them here! It’s a short walk to the beach and the little market has great sandwiches. Host lives upstairs and is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Tiny Aloha. I went to have a solo retreat- and this space was perfect for me. Everything was super clean and aesthetically, well put together. There is great attention to detail from the wood work, the construction to the furnishings and art work. I really loved the space. Tami was responsive, clear with her communications and super helpful. One of the best parts for me was the outdoor shower. It's Spring time, so it was a bit cool and windy while I was there- but it was still amazing and I was surprised how much I liked it. The hang out area below is really nice for when you need to get off the beach- a very relaxing area that has everything you might want. I also loved having use of the bikes and beach chairs. I would definitely return- only I'd bring my husband next time- he needs to try the outdoor shower!

Great communications! Good instructions. They were very responsive to a couple of texts I sent. The unit was extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable.

My youngest daughter, granddaughter and I were the only ones who were able to take the trip. We all love the ocean so much. We couldn't believe we were just steps from the beach and the pool. Our oceanfront view was amazing! The cozy balcony had four very comfortable wooden tall chairs. The beach was great, not packed like sardines. It was clean, quiet and spacious. Our condo was on the first floor which left us a short flight of stairs to get to the condo. I have bad knees so it was wonderful being on the lower floor. The kitchen had just about everything one would need to prepare meals. We made our own coffee every day and cooked our meals in. It is so wonderful to have a kitchen. All the linens were clean, packed efficiently and plentiful. The starter soaps and supplies were great. We will definitely be returning to this facility again.

Very communicative, bare bones, just as advertised. The home was pristinely clean. The views were beautiful, gorgeous sound views from the balcony. The beach is just a short walk away and the pier is a 5 minute drive. Perfect location in Avon & Mike is super friendly! Be mindful that you will have to bring bath towels, but other necessities were supplied by the cleaners and lasted us through a full week. This was transparently advertised though. The living room is not quite as comfortable as we would’ve liked, but that’s just our preference. The rest of the house was very comfortable and we were pleased with the furnishing. The space is clearly well taken care of. Avon overall is a wonderful place to visit. The locals were probably the most friendly we’ve experienced in the OBX. The area is very remote and you can see the stars and even have a bonfire on the beach. Plenty of free parking and easy public beach access. Really good restaurants too. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

It was especially clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was efficient with new appliances and granite counters. The bathroom also had granite counters. It too, was an efficient use of space with storage. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of storage. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, the ferry, and shopping. The property has a pool, too. We enjoyed the walking paths around the property that wind around a marsh area. Office staff is on hand to answer questions.

We really enjoyed staying here…it was perfect for us. Loved being able to get to the beach and sound easily and the view from the condo was wonderful.

The say at ‘Sea Too’ was the most enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing stay I have ever had at Cape Hatteras. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the perfect atmosphere. I really couldn’t have asked for more!

Quiet and relaxing. Very clean and private. The host was nearby and very friendly but gave us privacy. Had fun meeting her doggies and the neighbors’ chickens.
