The house is perfect, location is perfect, very close to the sea. the kids' room was very cozy. I really loved the fact that each room has its own bathroom. the house is very close to variety of restaurants and attractions. our only critique is that there was a construction next to the house, which made noises during the day, however both Carrie and Joshua were very kind and generous and offer us different compensation, which we really appreciated. One of the best houses we been by far.

Perfect in every way. Steps to the beach, immaculate & beautifully decorated home, kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need, welcoming atmosphere, great decks, amazing location ~ close to grocery and delicious food. Hosts are so friendly and accommodating. We loved our time here and we will be back for sure! My highest recommendation!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful and loved that the beach was walkable distance. Would definitely love to come back!

We come to the OBX, specifically Southern Nags Head every year. This house is by far our favorite. We usually get a home that is right on the beach, but this house sits one house back. We found this to be even better than oceanfront. The house is positioned so you can see the ocean between the two homes in front. The walk to the beach was very easy and quick. We love the keyless entry - don't think I can go back to having to keep up with a key anymore. The house was very clean and comfortable. Lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped - even had an air fryer! We had brought our own, but didn't need to bring it in. Our favorite spot (well, other than the beach) was sitting on the screened in porch looking out at the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet - seems that most of the homes on the street are not rentals. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 in regards to the price, but it appears that most of the homes in this area have more expensive rent just since last year.

The house looked exactly as described & shown in the pictures! It was absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much! The host was communicative, nice, & made sure we were settled into the house comfortably. Cannot say enough good things about this Air BnB!!

Sherry’s place was spacious and well-equipped. Sherry herself was so kind - she helped us out with a car battery issue by lending us a charger. Quick response times and an overall great weekend!

We stayed at Mya's place in Salvo for a few nights in December with a total of 8 guests and found the place to be spacious, clean, and extremely peaceful - it was exactly what we were looking for. All in all, this was an enjoyable experience and despite a few inconveniences, we had a wonderful family vacation. Mya was also very responsive whenever we reached out. We would love to visit again. Thank you for hosting us!

I had a wonderful stay at Tiny Aloha. I went to have a solo retreat- and this space was perfect for me. Everything was super clean and aesthetically, well put together. There is great attention to detail from the wood work, the construction to the furnishings and art work. I really loved the space. Tami was responsive, clear with her communications and super helpful. One of the best parts for me was the outdoor shower. It's Spring time, so it was a bit cool and windy while I was there- but it was still amazing and I was surprised how much I liked it. The hang out area below is really nice for when you need to get off the beach- a very relaxing area that has everything you might want. I also loved having use of the bikes and beach chairs. I would definitely return- only I'd bring my husband next time- he needs to try the outdoor shower!

Our family had the most amazing stay at the Otter House!! The location was perfect! The neighborhood is so peaceful, and the views of the sound are breathtaking! We enjoyed walking down the beautiful docks to take in the stunning views and sunsets!! The house itself is beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious, and immaculate making our stay so comfortable. From the well-stocked kitchen (they have thought of everything you could ever need!), to such comfortable beds with beautiful bedding in each room, every detail was thoughtfully considered. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and having coffee on the back deck! The kids loved the game room, and hot tub!! The owners were the best, and made us feel so welcomed! We would give this home and owners more than 5 stars if we could! Best experience and stay, we will absolutely be back!! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family!!

We loved loved loved our stay at Robert and Jan’s place. Jan was an amazing host! She was attentive, detail oriented very helpful. She offered to pick up and deliver our groceries from the local Fiod Lion. She had left us snack and gifts with a handwritten note. We loved the hot tub evenings right under the NC stars. Pool was heated and kids had plenty to do, among the games in the house and outside beach walks. We will definitely will be back to her place next time to visit the NC OBX.

Kristine was such a responsive and great host. Any issues we had were addressed and taken care of. This place felt right at home. The whole family had so much fun; especially with the electronic game board. I think we stayed up every night playing a bunch of games and watching the view every day. The place was comfy and decorated so cute. The weather was pretty cold when we got there but with the beautiful fireplaces throughout the home we were able to warm up fast. (: Kitchen was pretty stocked up on utensils and other kitchen needs. We especially loved the coffee machine. The ocean is also just a couple steps away from the house. It was nice opening up the sliding doors and listening to the ocean waves. My family and I will definitely be back!

The home was spacious and clean. Stores, beach, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. Highly recommend! Sandra was very responsive and the maintenance people were quick to arrive and address a burnt out light bulb even though we advised it wasn’t an emergency. Great place to stay and great people to work with.

We had a mini family reunion to celebrate my 60th birthday. The home was perfect for our family. We had planets of room to share meals together. We had fun playing the games the host had available for guests. We had a lot of fun hanging out and relaxing by the pool and in the hot tub! We had fun competing to see who could win the most games on the pool table. We would definitely recommend the home to others interested in a relaxing and fun week at the Outer Banks! We would love to stay there again.

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

The beach house was in an amazing location close to beach access and local restaurants. Rooms are very large and could accommodate a big group with lots of space. The pool and pool area was a great bonus. We spent a lot of time on the front deck for meals and hanging out. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and very friendly. We hope to visit again in the future!

Kate’s place was wonderful. Despite not staying during the best weather conditions, my family had tons of fun and enjoyed the amenities provided. Will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at the beach! We even got to view the northern lights from the deck. Pretty close walk to the beach. Lots of kitchen supplies, pet friendly - although our dog stayed at home this time. We love the location and would like to stay again. Marsha, was a very responsive host and easy to communicate with.

We loved staying at Michael's place! He allowed us to check in a few hours early, due to the forecast calling for severe storms (it ended up being beautiful and sunny all day). My dog loved that there was a dog bed she could use as we didn't have room in the car for hers, and my teen girls loved that the hammocks could be moved around the yard for maximum uv exposure. The house was clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay again!

Dune Alright was a very comfy house with beautiful views. the outdoor shower is great. Mila was easy to get hold of for combo to get kayaks out(which we never did use) and kitchen well equipped. Screened porch was a nice spot to hang out as well.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's an incredible location with more than enough space for 4+ adults and can easily fit more. Quiet, tons of natural light with phenomenal sunset views every night (sunrises not too shabby either). Comfortable furniture, good AC, great kitchen space and amenities. Enough kayaks and paddle boards for the Brady bunch family. Good shower pressure and internet. Master bed was very soft for those with bad backs like myself but stellar stay overall.

Beautiful home in perfect location! It truly felt like a home away from home! Views from the top floor are spectacular and the house is walkable to so much (including the beach!). Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the Outer Banks!

My family and I stayed for two nights and it was a much needed home away from home! Everything was exactly how it was in the description/pictures. It was very cozy and clean! Sweet spot of being near the beach and close to sights and restaurants, but far enough where you can have privacy and be away from the "hustle and bustle" of a beach town!
