We felt so lucky to have booked this gem! 5 minutes from hatteras where we were fishing. So peaceful and private. And a dog lovers dream house! They went above and beyond to be dog friendly. It’s so hard to find a home our whole family (3 generations) can vacation in and can accommodate our dogs and kennels and this was amazing. They had separate dog covers for couches and towels for after the beach and gates on the decks of each level. Two of the bedrooms had access directly to the deck which was so nice for a quiet exit in the middle of night for early walks. The kitchen has every amenity needed and the decor was beautiful and so fresh and new. It was the perfect fit for our family and we’re already looking ahead to next year. Everyone also mentioned how nice it was to have such a large dining table that we could all enjoy. Lots of games to enjoy at night and the hot tub had an amazing view!

Connie’s place was wonderful! I was blown away by how much was available for us to use in the kitchen! Every utensil, appliance, even basic ingredients I needed and more was available. It was a quick walk to the beach, bikes were available too and we enjoyed them. My toddlers LOVED the hot tub. If you plan to visit and stay here, remember there are NO linens. Only blankets and pillow cases. There are not even hand towels in bathrooms or wash clothes, just the kitchen towels! Pack accordingly. Since we came in the off season, some things were still closed for the year. We found that there was much more to do up in Duck/Nags Head, but the drive up was enjoyable and serene. :) Connie was super accommodating and has impeccable communication. We’d love to stay here again some day.

Ross was friendly and easy to communicate with for our last minute stay. The house is clean and large enough for a big group. There is only one queen size bed and the rest are twin and full size bunk beds which is unique but worked fine for us. The location is convenient and easy to find. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, could use some newer pans but that's the case with most rentals. We didn't use the hot tub & pool much but they were clean and ready to go.

Vacasa was so quick to respond to any questions and made the entire process super easy. Highly recommended. Their properties are well taken care of. This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The details with the decor was amazing. It had everything we needed and more. So much space and it was so comfortable. It is a beautiful house inside and out. I suggest visiting Sandy Bay which is 5 mins up the road for a peaceful beach outing. And then about 15 mins away is the ferry to Ocracoke. The Dancing Turtle coffee shop is a must. It was a great family vacation home.

Superb location for a peaceful end of year holiday vacation. Two level property with far reaching views from the upper level living room. Large open space with ample windows to see the sound. Beautiful sunsets from the windows and the deck facing the sound. Privacy assured from property next door due to design of deck overlooking the sound. Close to beaches for fishing and walking. Dog friendly (bring dog gates as there are no gates on entry steps outside property - all are open - we used two of our own dog gates on two levels to ensure dogs were contained and safe). Lighting in access area is not working. Noticed another review had said the same so maybe replace the bulb as it is a dark entrance area for accessing key code to enter property. Very clean interior. Robust furniture. Mattresses are very firm! Clean linen. Well stocked good sized open plan kitchen. (Food lion is nearest grocery store.) Highly recommend and would personally return again to this vacation property.

Heaven sent! My family arrived at another rental we had booked for 2 weeks in Rodanthe only to find it inaccessible due to flooding so we were homeless at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We found Natalie's listing for this property and quickly contacted her to request an on-the spot booking. She responded immediately and graciously accepted. We had no idea what to expect, having had no opportunity to thoroughly research the property in advance of booking. Natalie indeed has a true gem in this listing. Being waterfront on the sound side was a new experience for us, we have been lifelong oceanfront renters. The property, pool and grounds were exceptionally well cared for and the pier and sea wall provided ample fishing opportunities, bringing in several nice Red Drum and Blues among the usual assortment. The house itself provided ample room for our family to spread out and also enjoy being together. Natalie saved the day and we had a fabulous stay - I highly recommend this listing!

The house is incredible. The decor is amazing. Everyday someone would notice a something else they never saw before. There is a very short walk to beach. You have great views of the sunrise over the ocean from the hot tub or either deck. We saw Manny shooting stars during our stay. Cindy is a very helpful and caring host. She gave us updates on beach conditions and an outlook for our drive home. Overall one of our best Airbnb experiences. We will definitely be staying again.

This was the nicest house we've rented in the 5 years we've been coming to the Hatteras area. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the starter supplies. Will consider this house again when in the area.

Chase’s place is a perfect get away for 2-4 people. It’s soooo close to the beach, just a 3 min walk over the dune. It was quiet and private and had great outdoor space including chairs on the upper deck and picnic table below to toss all the beach stuff when returning from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and wi fi were strong! We were able to walk for coffee at Muffins and Scones and wine & beer at Cork and Bottle, both of which were fantastic! So refreshing to find an air bnb with all the furnishings in an area dominated by rental companies that require you to bring or rent your own linens. Thanks Chase!

When folks say this place is right on the water, they’re not kidding - the water comes right up to a small dune in front of the house. It’s pretty amazing. Lots of room to hang out and enjoy family time while taking in beautiful views - even if it rains, you’re gazing out over the ocean and the sound. Hot tub was awesome - right at eye level with the dunes and the ocean. Sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Lots of deck space on both sides. Seaside was a great host and proactive, giving us a heads up that high winds and rain were coming in so we came down in our jeep instead of a car. They checked on us several times, both by phone and in person. We had a great time!

This was our second time staying with Tami, and once again, everything was wonderful. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. The furniture was super comfy, and the space had a really welcoming feel. We loved being about to walk to some local restaurants in the evening. Tami is always communicative and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The location is great—easy access to the beach and some solid fishing nearby, too. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place! The house was spacious and had a great layout for our family. There was plenty of room on the large sofa, and we loved dining on the screened in porch. The house is in a great location with easy access to the grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We rented bikes and the kids loved biking to the pool and around the large neighborhood. The beach was a little bit of a walk but was definitely doable especially with a wagon to haul our things. The house is also a short drive to a great sound side beach. Michelle was very responsive and clear with communication. When we had an issue with the WiFi she resolved it right away. Check in was also a breeze. Between the beach, pool, paddle boarding on the sound, reading on the porch, board games, and surf lessons for the kids (Endless Summer Surf OBX) we had a fabulous week! We would definitely choose Michelle’s place for our Avon vacation again!

We had a great stay at Out of the Blue. Margot was so responsive and helpful. Perfect location to get to/from beach easily and close to grocery, restaurants. Comfortable home. Would definitely return!

definitely worth the stay. walking distance to anything you need. the beach is right off the driveway! excellent fishing spot as well! (caught a 27" red drum in the surf as well as a whiting and a flounder) the house in itself is well set up to accomodate the family and all of its needs. we had a party of 9 myself my significant other and 7 children ages 20 - 7 . everyone was comfortable and had a blast! will definitely book again!

Great place to stay we were down an evening early for a duck hunt - would also be a nice spot for a getaway or fishing trip!

Vino was a a great host his house was spotless. The hot tub has beautiful views for the sunset. The beach was 30 seconds away. And all of us loved using the basketball hoop in the driveway. 10/10 would come back.

Beautiful House. Wonderful Location. biggest concern is the tiny cactuses embedded between the blades of grass. The backyards are connected and my sons ball rolled into the neighbors yard. The ball was 15 feet from where he was standing. The neighbors back yard was laced with cactuses. Little baby ones. My son fell to his knees. He was infested. It was a painful experience for him. Be very carful and inspect the grass before letting your kids walk barefoot.

Best of both world's, sound and close to ocean side. AMAZING sunsets. One of our favorite spots was sitting in the dock enjoying the breeze and walking the private beach finding different shells and hermit crabs. The kids obviously really liked the beach, hot tub and pool. We also liked learning how to crab. Oh and skim board! Thank you for sharing your home and for our wonderful memories!

We love this house! Outside area is better than shown; easy access to the sound. Great for water activities. The decks were wonderful on the back of the house, especially for sunsets and star gazing! Hot tu.b was an extra bonus. We’d rent this house again; entire family enjoyed it!

Overall great place to stay definitely recommend

The house was great, had everything needed for a perfect stay. Only thing I was worried about was the structural integrity of the deck steps on the third floor. The stair stringers we’re separating from the nails and would move quite a bit while using so we blocked it off. Also, the concrete under the house by by the front door was dangerously slippery. The concrete was not brushed when it was poured, so it is very slick when wet/covered in sand. If you have young kids running around be very mindful of that.

The cabana was very clean. We have stayed at several and this one was our favorite by far. The bed was comfortable, the view from the upper deck was great, and we were able to check into our rental hassle free. Vacasa was very accommodating. We hope to rent this cabana again! Awesome experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is hard to beat. Close to everything and easy beach access, surf fishing was also great. Vacasa had great communication and were very responsive about any questions or concerns we did have.
