You’ve found the perfect Airbnb. Our stay here was magical. Beautiful facilities including a sauna and an outdoor hot tub. But the best thing about this place are by far the hosts. Our car broke down while we were here and Josh & Amanda were extremely helpful and accommodating, going far to ensure that our stay is not affected by our car troubles. Just genuine, nice people and very easy and lovely to deal with. They went out of their way to help us figure out our situation. Amazing property + amazing hosts = perfect getaway from the city. You need to stay at this hidden gem to understand.

Our stay at Lesley and Bruce’s Windswept Cottage on Sharbot Lake was incredible. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us in person and provided a thoughtful tour with helpful instructions. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the fire pit on the deck was perfect for relaxing under the stars. On the first morning of our stay, we were treated to a delicious breakfast basket with warm croissants, fresh muffins, and fruit parfaits—a delightful touch! The scenery was stunning, with wildlife sightings and access to outdoor adventures like the rail trail. The location was also great for exploring nearby towns. Every detail was carefully considered, and it was clear that Lesley and Bruce had thought of everything to make our stay special. This beautiful retreat is the perfect escape for anyone seeking comfort, nature, and true hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful place, truly a slice of paradise. Great for a peaceful, family friendly or couple friendly retreat. Would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful heavenly-getaway. highlights included quiet mornings, glass-like warm water, fishing, yard games, sand castle building, swimming, friendly/respectful neighbours, beautiful scenery, smart TV streaming available, and nature everywhere like a scene out of a Disney movie. -Family of 4 with two small children. thanks Jason and Kelly!

What a wonderful 6 night getaway! This was thanks to a truly beautiful location, sitting on the dock watching the serene river ~ Beds were super comfortable, great living area with big, cozy sectional to relax and watch movies (TV has AirPlay!), and a very well-stocked kitchen to make homemade meals easy. We were greeted with a bottle of wine & a scented candle to make our stay extra special. Thanks to our host for super fast and very friendly communication too. We hope to return!

Second time coming staying at Sam’s. Just as magical and peaceful as before. Can’t wait to come again next year.

Kevin & Melissa went above and beyond by hanging up a Happy Birthday sign for my daughter's 16th Birthday girls weekend. Their place is exactly as described. Everything was super easy from start to finish. The girls had a great time hanging in the hot tub and watching the sun set. I would love to come back in the summer.

Dee was an excellent host! Very responsive, accommodating, and welcoming! The decor was lovely and so charming with type writers and skates and skis, really giving you a lovely old fashioned chalet-feeling. The location was excellent, steps from a gorgeous lake, and only a short drive away from the serene bon echo provincial park. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful nature getaway and we would love to visit again in the springtime!
