The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

We stayed at Robin’s place for a weekend with 3 other families. Had a wonderful time and made full use of the great facilities. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay on Fairy Lake Island. Kim was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed or wanted during our stay. The house was thoughtfully supplied with every amenity. The many outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the amazing views were perfect. Every evening was a spectacular sunset with the best view on the lake. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Great long weekend stay! The lower cottage was clean and had a beautiful view. The property had a lot of activities and things to do. A lot of canoes/kayaks freely available. Marla was an attentive, responsive host. Would stay again!

We had a lovely time staying here over the August long weekend. Very short drive into Gananoque, everything was as advertised, everything was very clean, instructions were clear. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns (we had a power outage for a few hours during a storm). We did a bit of canoeing, however it should be said that once you get out onto the St. Lawrence the current is quick so be prepared to row! Happy the place was pet friendly as our small dog had a great time. There were three air conditioning units (1 in each bedroom and 1 in main area) and, while we were grateful for the relief on hot days, they were a little bit on the noisy side while watching TV or winding down to sleep. The only thing we would have wanted was access to the washer/dryer, but as it's stipulated they're only available for longer stays we were fine to respect our host's rules. Overall very happy with our stay and would absolutely consider staying again in the future.

Lawrence and his wife bought us fresh cinnamon buns on Saturday morning as a treat! Was a great surprise! Sorry we didn’t get to enjoy his famous fries! One of the funniest individuals my three brothers and I have had the pleasure of conversing with! He s a comedian at heart and offers a great slice of heaven to enjoy on a beautiful property and accommodations! Lots of cool places to hang out and relax on the property! We will be making a return visit for sure!

this was exactly as listed, and we are very happy with it! we travel for work so we needed something nice and affordable! it was a bonus we were able to bring our dog! next time we work in kingston, I will definitely be trying to book this again!

This is our second stay at the cabin and we had an amazing weekend . The cabin is exactly as described and the water is so clean and clear..Don is always super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Already planning another weekend :)

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

An amazing place to unwind next to the lake and listen to the Loons in the evening. Erika went out of her way to accommodate our very last minute reservation and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I had the most amazing week at the cabin! We were blessed with 7 days of sun and no rain. Of course, this meant no running water, but we didn’t mind since we just used lake water! Our husky, Willow, explored all 65 acres and then some on our morning “backyard” hikes. We spent our days lounging on the dock and jumping in the lake to cool off, or swinging into the lake on the Tarzan swing! As stunning as the views from the lake were, views from the cabin were spectacular. I think my favourite spot was the screened in porch with panoramic views of the forest! This is where we decided to sleep every night, too! The cabin definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

The stay was incredible! I would say that the pictures matched, but it was so much more than what we expected. The space was bigger, was really well taken care of, and the owners were amazing people. Even when a minor issue happened, they were right on top of it and it didn't affect our stay in the slightest. I would 100% come back

We booked this location as it is very close the Kingston hospital where my parent was getting treatments. About 6 minutes away and also very close to downtown. All in all a good stay!

Our second stay at Ron and Miriam's airbnb. This is a very nice self check in unit that has its own independent entrance. We feel right at home in this place and it is very comfortable. Very communicative host with excellent instructions. We hope to book again on another return trip to Kingston.

Stella’s place is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. The cabin is located among beautiful and peaceful surroundings, perfect for nature walks and stargazing. Though rustic, the cabin is well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our short stay here and would definitely consider coming back in the summer/early fall to enjoy the lake and apple orchards.

This was a beautiful, very quaint cottage. It’s in a nice and peaceful area and lots of options for recreational activities, although we stayed there for a reading getaway. John provided us with lots of information and notes about our stay which were very helpful. I would definitely book it again in the future.

Had a great stay at Kurt’s place. Can easily walk to good restaurants/ shops and down to the water. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Lots of nice touches… granola bars, cream , coffee… Very central location!

Another great visit at this beautiful cottage! The morning sun makes for great sitting on the dock or platform, and the lake is beautiful. We had fun swimming, taking the boats out, and enjoying the property. We'd love to come back again. Nicole was flexible and communicative with any questions etc that we had.

The cottage was fantastic - spacious and clean, with all the listed amenities. The surroundings were beautiful. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (2-9 year olds) with great indoor and outdoor activities. We walked locally and also drove to the nearby Frontenac Provincial Park for a walk at the Arab Lake Gorge, which was fantastic. The host was very responsive and very helpful to the queries we had. We're looking forward to visiting again in the future!
