We stay in this beautiful house every year for our ski vacation, and we absolutely love it. The combination of comfort, stunning natural surroundings, and the owner’s warm hospitality makes it a truly special place. Every visit, we fall in love with the house all over again. Some of the highlights include the outdoor jacuzzi, the fantastic family room with air hockey and ping pong, and the walk to the lake. Altogether, it’s a perfect getaway, and we hope to return year after year.

We came here to celebrate my 30th birthday with friends in October. The house and scenery were both stunning. Russ left us very clear instructions about how to enter, what the house rules were, and what we needed to do prior to leaving. So clear I didn’t need to contact him at all with a single question. I would absolutely stay here again. Everyone who came had a great time and a comfortable stay.

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Susan was so accommodating in so many areas! We are a large family, so when I mentioned to Susan that we wanted to rent her place, but we’re concerned about having one bathroom… They installed a beautiful, rustic styled full bath prior to our arrival!!! We could not have been more pleased! The pictures for the outdoor area do not do it justice – the pool, Jacuzzi, tiki bar area were amazing… The views from the deck were absolutely gorgeous! Entry was simple with a code on the door, followed by a lovely welcome basket in the kitchen! There was plenty of room for people to relax in and sleep. The house is a 10 minute ride to lake Sacandoga and a three minute ride local to Broadalbin. Perfect location. We are hoping to rent the same place next year! Thank you so much Susan for being so accommodating. Your home was lovely and we had a blast!

Great host, great house, great location! We stayedin the winter, so we shoveled the lake and ice skated, played in the snow, visited a local ski resort (Oak and West Mountain). Northville (stores and shops) is a 5 minute drive. Definitely would come back.

Great home with beautiful view. Visited in winter and was great, imagine summer would also be amazing!

The house was a little dusty, a camp feel for sure. It was perfect for a family reunion we had , kids enjoyed it, plenty of space and walk to private beach was very close and beautiful clean lake.

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful and very clean home. Had access to boats to take out and play on the lake along with a dock to lounge in the sun. Very spacious inside the home, and the hot tub was wonderful to have after a day on the lake!

Chris’s cabin is perfect for a getaway, it’s quaint and cozy, providing the environment to make you feel right at home. Perfect pricing, I truly couldn’t recommend a better getaway.

This is the second time we stayed at one of Chris’ properties and we were not disappointed. We wanted a long weekend away to unwind, and unwind is what we did. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, good food, and some snowshoeing. We walked right outside, put our snowshoes on, walked to the end of the drive way, and turned left onto the trail that runs right behind the house. Chris was very responsive when reaching out, very thoughtful host. We look forward to renting from Chris again and highly recommend for anyone interested in visiting the area.

Great place! Stayed during winter time so it was full of snow everywhere, very peaceful and the jacuzzi was amazing. Extremely cozy and perfect for family get together or even friends! The bed is super comfy and loved the convenient fire place (easy to use). Host is super friendly. Im just ranting at this point but yeah worth every penny! (PS: Margherita Pizza at the marina restaurant nearby (10 min walk) is AMAZING.

Chris’s cabin was so cozy! We had a great time reading by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching people snowmobile and ice fish on the lake! Cannot recommend this place enough!
