We had a great week at Johns house. It was very spacious and welcoming . The kitchen had everything you could want and the house was clean and comfortable. The fishing was super and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. Of course we didn’t want to leave. Thank you John, we’d love to stay again!

This Airbnb was a lovely stay—tastefully decorated with a cozy atmosphere. The host was incredibly responsive, making everything smooth and easy. The large outdoor area was perfect for enjoying the sunny days!

Our group of college friends, long past graduation in the 80s, thoroughly enjoyed this place. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Dan was an excellent host answering all questions quickly. We greatly appreciated this place and highly recommend it.

Jeremy’s house is new, very clean and nicely decorated. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need and we were very comfortable throughout or stay. It is one of the nicest AirBnb’s that we have stayed at and we look forward to returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Trent’s place. A very relaxing and fun getaway with friends. Took a beautiful hike around the area with the dogs. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfy. Took advantage of the games that were available and fireplaces inside and out. We had a great time at the “neighbors” too! We will definitely return for an annual winter visit.

We enjoyed our family stay at this location. We visited in the winter - the house was warm and felt very solid. There were a lot of things for the kids to discover in the house and plenty of room to strech out. Hosts were very reasonable and accommodating.

It’s truly the perfect family-friendly space—thoughtfully designed, incredibly clean, and filled with little details that make a big difference. The location is the best of both worlds—it has a peaceful, rural feel while being just minutes away from all the amenities we needed. Everything inside feels fresh and new, and it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into maintaining and upgrading the space. The entertainment options for the kids were fantastic, and small touches like the step stool for brushing teeth made it even more convenient for our family. This place is an absolute gem, and we already know we’ll be staying here again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and well-located stay! Our stay at The Hemlock House in Caroga Lake was wonderful! The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts & families. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing nearby, and the local shared beach was great for relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, and more. The beach had community chairs, picnic tables, and toys. We loved the nearby corner store’s wings and meatballs and the Canada Lake Store’s West Lake Sunset sandwich. Sherman’s nostalgic carousel was a highlight, and we had a fantastic time at a concert, rodeo, and garage sales. The Airbnb was comfortable and equipped with an AC unit & fan with all needed amenities. The host Emily provided exceptional service and prompt responses to any & all communication. She also provided us with a list of current events which was extremely helpful as we had to plan this trip last minute. We loved that they included a S’more kit too! We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this gem in Caroga Lake for outdoor adventure, local charm, & great hospitality!

Massive accommodations for a very reasonable price! Robyn and her staff were so friendly and helpful! Definitely will be staying again!

We have been trying different lake houses for the last few years. We finally found one that we will stick with for future rentals! The accommodations were perfect for us! Large dock space for our boat and jet ski and also had available mooring lines if we needed those for safer boat parking) The Beach toys were endless for the kids! I loved having access to THREE grills- One at the house and two down at the beach! We also enjoyed the amazing yard for outdoor activities with the kids! Donna was great if we had any questions and she even messaged me when she was alerted of storms coming to the area! Our favorite part of this home was enjoying the beautiful sunsets from the beach! We were able to enjoy beautiful colors in the sky and watch the sunset right in front of us! It was a beautiful stay! Oh! And be sure to check out the Hills market down the road for amazing snack and drink choices and fresh beef/steak. And my favorite- cheese dips!

Armin's place was so nice and comfortable that we decided to stay another night and he was so helpful and very accommodating. We will definitely be booking with him again!

We are locals who had a flooring emergency, and we were grateful to stay here, and for Harlan’s quick acceptance of our last minute booking. We would love to have our family stay here again when they visit us. We were very happy to be able to bring our dogs!

Exactly as pictured and described! Beautifully appointed with no clutter, great and comfortable main room for movies and games with the kids. Convenient, easy arrival and departure. Tony & Joyce are terrific hosts. My twin middle-schoolers especially loved the loft, which fit both a full mattress and a full blow-up mattress we had brought with us. They even installed a brand new bed in the main bedroom when we arrived! If you’re looking for lakeside campfires, beautiful lake views, and a week of kayaking and boating on the lake, I definitely recommend!

The place was amazing. It's in a quiet, secluded area, and in the winter with snow on the ground, it was beautiful and picturesque. The cabin had everything we needed in terms of space, amenities, and utilities, and a cozy, comfortable living room with a nice propane fireplace for heat and atmosphere. We had a fantastic time walking just along the road amongst the trees to the lake, and relaxing in the living room playing board games. Our host, Mary, was incredibly helpful and proactive, reaching out to us on the day of our arrival to make sure we knew how to get inside and checking in with us when we arrived to make sure we had everything we need. She was very friendly and responsive to questions we had.

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful and very clean home. Had access to boats to take out and play on the lake along with a dock to lounge in the sun. Very spacious inside the home, and the hot tub was wonderful to have after a day on the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very peaceful. The hot tub was well kept and relaxing to use at night under the stars. My niece loved the butterfly themed bathroom and loft in her room. Would love to visit in the summer!
