The lodge is beautiful, just like in the photos! Darrell was extremely responsive any time we had an issue or a question. The house is about 20 minutes away from a lake with a beachy area, which was a lovely way to spend a day, and the view from the living room is spectacular. One thing to note is that you do have to bring your own linens and towels! Other things that we figured out/got Darrell’s help from are that the handles need to be lifted up to lock the doors, and the water, while safe to drink, does have a bit of a sulfur-y smell to it. Overall, we had an incredible time and made great use of the space, yard, and games. We would definitely recommend staying here!

What a beautiful and serene spot to stay! We had such a relaxing weekend at the Red Cabin, and would definitely return one day. The view of the mountains from the deck is amazing all times of day, but especially at sunrise. Rhonda was a great host as well, and we appreciate her responsiveness! ☀️

Beautiful Cabin. Loved being outside around the cabin enjoying the hiking trails, fire pit, hot tub, and grill. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great weekend

I’m not one who typically leaves a review but Olivia definitely deserves a review. It was for my son’s 18th birthday and when I tell you, everything was so flawless. She was nice enough to help me decorate one of the cabins with happy birthday balloons, and a banner! this gesture really shows me that she goes over and beyond for her customers. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

Wonderful host and excellent atmosphere. Everything was as described and then some. Tony and Jake were very friendly and informative of the property and surrounding area. The art and handmade woodworking was very nice to see and well done. I would love to come back and stay again. if your looking for a unique quite experience in the mountains then this is the place to stay!

When we 1st pulled up, my family was beyond excited to run into the cabin! It was spacious and had all the bells and whistles. The bed was soft. The kitchen was so helpful all the things we needed to have a family dinner in. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The on site amenities were the best! Pool for the kids, playground for smaller kiddos, horseback riding. There was a family event there at the time we visited, who use the horse and buggy looked so amazing. we had an amazing time and look foward to returning. Thanks so much for having us.

This place was gorgeous and was perfect for a little getaway from the city for a few days! Unfortunately the weather/winds didn’t cooperate with us during our stay so we weren’t able to enjoy outside and the fire-pit like we wanted. However we did still get to enjoy for a few moments on our second night. Not a complaint, but the bathroom is downstairs while all bedrooms are upstairs. No biggie, but if you have any trouble with stairs, this could be uncomfortable. Also, if you’re wanting to cook a lot during your stay, the smaller stove just takes patience! Overall, we had a lovely weekend and the place was lovely!

Had a wonderful weekend away. The cabin was simple and quaint, yet had everything we needed to relax and unwind from the daily grind. Very private but yet close enough to a few stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
