superbe location ,maison très cosy,parfaite pour 2 adultes et 1 enfant. Endroit très calme et restaurants à proximité super Hote très accueillant et aux petits soins . A conseiller ++++

Die Unterkunft ist rundum wunderschön. Der Garten ist super angelegt und man kann mit Meerblick auf der Terrasse essen. In der Küche als auch im Badezimmer: perfekte Ausstattung. Essig, Öl, Gewürze, tolle Shampoos bis hin zu Bademänteln. Hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts! Auch die Kommunikation war super. Der Zugang erfolgt über eine Schlüsselbox und ist super easy. Die Lage ist schon etwas abgelegen und der Weg dahin sehr kurvig und steil - natürlich nicht unüblich auf Madeira, aber nach einem langen Tag manchmal etwas anstrengend. Ein Auto ist unabdingbar, kein Café, kleiner Supermarkt oder ähnliches ansatzweise in Laufnähe. Zwei kleine negative Punkte: Wir hatten an zwei Abenden kein WLAN. Hinter dem Haus wird ein kleines Haus gebaut. Hier hatten wir Nachmittags (17/18 Uhr) meist leider Baulärm. Danke Catarina für die tolle Woche!

Wunderschönes Haus mit traumhaftem Blick. Yami ist immer erreichbar und kümmert sich sofort. Bei uns ist Yami nur vorbeigekommen wenn wir sie darum gebeten haben. Nicht wie in der vorherigen Bewertung beschrieben, einfach aufgetaucht. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, wir haben täglich die nicht einsehbare Außendusche mit Meerblick genossen. Die kleine Katze ist der Hausherr, wer keine Katzen mag sollte sich ein anderes Haus suchen. Auch uns hat die Katze kleine Geschenke mitgebracht, das war uns aus vorherigen Rezensionen bekannt und das ist bei Freigängen normal.

Logement magnifique dans un havre de paix, nous étions 2 dans cette maison pour 4, une terrasse avec de nombreuses tables, de la place, des arbres fruitiers à côté et une superbe vue sur mer autour d’une forêt d’eucalyptus. L’intérieur est très joli avec plein d’équipement, du café, un très bon gâteau et du vin offert, vraiment top !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Calheta. The apartment was clean and comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed; the views were spectacular. Steve is an amazing host and we are already looking forward to returning to Beautiful Casa Da Linda.

Carlos war stets erreichbar, auch der etwas verspätetet Check-In war problemlos. Zwischendurch kamen immer wieder Hinweise auf die Umgebung (Restaurants, Ausflugsmöglichkeiten). Das Haus selbst liegt oberhalb von Ribeira Brava in Hanglage mit hervorragender Ausssicht. Für die letzten Meter sollte man gut zu Fuß sein, darauf hatte Carlos bereits vor der Buchung hingewiesen. Dafür keine Verkehrsgeräusche. Die Ausstattung verfügt über mehr als alles, was man benötigen könnte. Von der Größe her für mich als Einzelreisenden der reine Luxus. Überrascht hatten mich zunächst die warmen Bettdecken - das war aber für die kühlen Märznächte tatsächlich passend! Ribeira Brava ist ein guter Ausgangsort, den Westen Madeiras zu erkunden, z.B. mit dem Bus, ich war selber auch mit dem Taxi unterwegs (Carlos hatte mir einen Fahrer empfohlen, war immer perfekt, danke an Vasco). Carlos' Haus gibt einem das Gefühl, etwas ländlich zu wohnen, obwohl der Weg in den Ort nur ca. 10 Minuten dauert.

Perfect hosts and a mostly perfect place. It's in walking distance from just about all of Funchal - and busses to the rest of the island. The appt itself is just what any traveller needs, with a nice veranda for the sunny days. Only downside is there's traffic just outside from early morning. Don't expect to sleep in late. But we were warned in advance and made it fit with our hiking plans.

Spacious apartment with a comfortable terrace and a large kitchen. It is worth knowing that the apartment is located on a narrow street on a hill, there is no natural light in the bedrooms, one bathroom is located in one of the bedrooms, and the second (with very weak water pressure) is on the terrace. Nevertheless, in terms of price/quality ratio + Caroline's amazing willingness to always help - this is definitely 5 stars. Many thanks to Karolina for her hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Amazing view, nature, really beautiful surroundings. Hidden trails for people who are in to non-commercial hiking; you need only look a little. There is already one coming up to the farm, but ask Joana for local advice as she is also really engaged and helpful! We enjoyed the local farmers market in the nearby village, Santo da Serra, and the nearby park, which is also well worth regular visits, Quinta da Junta. We had bread delivered early in the morning, and a fruit basket that was kept topped up, and some amenities in the fridge when we arrived so that we were not foodless (e.g. butter, milk, cheese, eggs and ham). The apartment itself was excellently maintained, with access into the back garden area and sun loungers. We also appreciated the bath after long hikes and beach stays. We suggest renting a car to take full advantage of this part of the island, and where this is not possible using Joana's taxi contact. However, you can reach most places by bus, it just takes longer. Pay close attention to the bus plans. Overall, highly recommended! We want to come back one day :)

Ein so schönes Haus. Wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und das um 3:00 morgens nach verspätetem Flieger. Zur Begrüßung hatten wir sogar eine Flasche Wein auf dem Tisch stehen. Von den Handtüchern, der Handwaschseife, dem Spüli bis hin zu Geschirrhandtüchern war alles vorhanden im Haus. Sehr sauber. Absolut tolle, ruhige Lage. Beim Kochen schaut man auf das Meer. Große Terrasse. Alles in allem, wirklich toll.

Die Wohnung ist ganz toll und der Balkon hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt. Ist sehr hoch gelegen. Um in den Ort zu gelangen ist ein Mietwagen praktisch. Es ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist auch wunderbar. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und Marco reagierte schnell auf unsere Fragen.

The place itself is very cozy. It's not fancy or new but well-designed and maintained. You have everything you might need there. The village is a small local getaway with two restaurants (one nice is right next door) and a small grocery shop, 5-min walk to the port. It's far from all attractions, so you need a car and be prepared to spend from 30 min to an hour driving one way if you want to see places, and also parking in popular locations is troubled most of the time. In the village, parking is always available somewhere close to the apartment. The ocean is just across the street, and during our stay, serfers were there to ride the waves. The street itself can be noisy on work mornings as the village lives its usual life - garbage is being emptied, neighbors are doing a renovation or mowing a lawn, banana plantation workers are coming, etc. The closest nice sandy beach and water tours are 10 km away in Calheta. The nearest proper supermarket is about 20 km away, in Ribeira Brava.

We stayed at Bobby's house for 4 nights and the truth is everything was perfect, from the first moment they were concerned about our arrival and gave us directions, apart from that the views of the accommodation were amazing, and the incredible pool, we would repeat without a doubt. A pleasure to meet them and the island too.

Traumappartment direkt am Meer mit zwei netten Bars direkt um die Ecke. Saubere Küche, gut ausgestattet und ansonsten alles da was man braucht. Der Ort ist richtig schön und ein Surfspot auch direkt da. Danke Fabio!
