Wonderful and charming space that is so cute and pet friendly!! Every detail was very well thought out. Also, I very much appreciated Gillian’s suggestions for local attractions. Most of the attractions in New Brunswick that are heavily advertised online are very spread out. It can be overwhelming to try to curate experiences if you are only visiting for a couple days. Gillian had very good suggestions for thing to do that are easily accessible from the air bnb that ended up being the highlights of our vacation. I very much enjoyed the town of St. Andrews and Minister’s Island. Also, the nature preserve in Black’s Harbor was really beautiful. The private beach on the site of the air bnb was also wonderful with an adorable green moss fairy forest pathway leading up to an expansive opening to the bay. All this while being close enough to day trip to St. Martins and the Fundy Parkway trails. We had a very fun stay!!!

Vince's cabin is the ideal retreat! Nestled in a secluded spot, it's just a short walk down a wooded path to the beach. The backyard features a deck overlooking a fire pit, perfect for evening bonfires; Vince thoughtfully provided kindling and firewood. Inside, the cabin has a warm and inviting feel. My daughter described it as "cozy rustic." The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings ensured I slept wonderfully both nights. Vince has thought of everything you might need during your stay, even a spare toothbrush in case, like one of my children, you forget yours. Vince also went the extra mile by providing breakfast for the first morning, a lovely touch. The internet connection was reliable, and I appreciated the convenience of the washer and dryer. The clawfoot bathtub was perfect for a long, relaxing soak. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return if it's available. Vince was prompt in responding to texts and a gracious host. I wholeheartedly recommend

What a beautiful hidden gem! We travelled less than a half hour from Saint John and will be back to beach comb. The view was breathtaking from the window, sunsets were beautiful. The nearby Beldings Reef Nature Preserve trail was AMAZING, and we will also be back for that with friends! We also got engaged during our stay on the beach in front of the property at sunset so this place will always be special to us now!! ( I would add though that the tap water is not drinkable and has a strong smell- it impacted cooking and showering and probably would have been more bothersome had we stayed longer than a weekend. But that’s my only complaint!)

Tracy’s Maces Bay home was exactly that! A very comfortable and “feel right at home” home. It was stocked with amenities including all types of coffee and tea, which are often not found. The refurbished bathroom is beautiful as well as the sunroom. The view of the tides going in and out is amazing. Tracy was a great hostess and accommodated a great stay at very short notice. We also enjoyed the deer in the yard. A trip to St John’s to see the reversing falls was interesting, as well as eating lobster and wild blueberries nearby.

We had an absolutely lovely, peaceful stay. Super friendly hosts, cozy vibes and everything you need for an enjoyable retreat. Very dog friendly, great rain shower and even little treats to enjoy. Thanks again!
