Sehr, sehr tolles Haus, nicht mehr ganz neu und dadurch einige Alterserscheinungen, aber nichts Gravierendes. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Besitzerin Ana war persönlich vor Ort, als wir ankamen. Sie hatte jede Menge frische Lebensmittel eingekauft und zu unserer Ankunft am Abend eine sehr gute Suppe gekocht. Ana ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, wir fühlten uns sofort herzlich willkommen. Sie hat uns alle Dinge, die wir wissen mussten, im Haus gezeigt. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt relativ kühl und windig auf den Azoren war, schätzten wir den Kaminofen im Haus besonders. Holz war auch ausreichend da. Der Ort Mosteiros ist sehr schön und die Brandung in den Klippen direkt vor dem Haus ist außergewöhnlich und lässt sich von der Couch aus beobachten. Ein sehr gutes lokales Restaurant mit exzellentem Fischangebot ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et serions prêts à y retourner à nouveau. Les hôtes étaient toujours disponibles en cas de besoin et communiquaient régulièrement avec nous. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. La maison est idéalement située pour y rester toute la semaine et faire toutes les attractions sur l’île en voiture.

We are so sad to leave this beautiful place! The house’s description is very accurate to the T: perfect location- you will be able to explore the island easily, 4 equally sized bedrooms with a pullout as an extra, kitchen with all the utensils, pots, glasses, ect. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck with sunrises and sunrises! The host graciously made the reservations for local restaurants and recommended some extra activities that we didn’t include in our original plans. The communication was easy - usually reply came in 30 min. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and hopefully come back soon. Note: the house has lots of stairs that can create problems for people with limited mobility. It was not an issue for us but it might be an issue for some.

Very nice place, from comfy beds to a beautiful living room, we really enjoyed staying in the house! BBQ pit was a great addition - used it almost every night. And it's sooooo quiet! Will be back again!

I would definitely recommend Villa Nikau - it's a great place to stay, if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Azores. Ana was a lovely host, the communication was clear, easy and friendly. I would certainly try to book the place again during my next visit to the islands.

Very comfortable, centrally located apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was easy, and all the check in and area information was clear and accurate. Would definitely stay again.

Francisco's place was absolutely stunning. Overlooks the Atlantic. Some of our favorite moments were morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Parking was easy to find and the house was immaculate. Lagao isn't as nice as Ponta but still has its charm and is only a short distance away. However Lagao has all basic amenities you need close to the property. Would stay again

A casa é óptima, extremamente limpa, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia muito confortável. A vista é lindíssima com um enorme espaço exterior. Os anfitriões são muito cuidadosos e simpáticos e responderam sempre prontamente a todas as nossas questões. Ainda tiveram o cuidado de deixar toalhas de banho e uma manta adequadas para bebé e ofereceram produtos alimentares da região. Recomendamos vivamente a casa do Pedro e voltaremos se possível!

Our stay in Mosteiros was wonderful and all made possible by the house rented from Samuel and Azorean Butler. The expansive house had all the amenities that you might want, along with peace and privacy. Many restaurants and a market and the beach are all within a very short walk from the house. This property made all things on Sao Miguel very easy. We cannot wait to return!!

A great choice for large groups/families. Our 7 people found a massive 2-story ocean front villa both close to civilization and private at the same time. The location is ideal. You wake up every morning to the sound of waves and you sip your coffee overlooking the ocean on the spacious elevated patios. It's close to markets and the nexus of North-South/ East-West roads making it easy to get anywhere on the island. There is ample off-street parking. Maria and Francisco are wonderful hosts. We arrived to find homemade fig jam and chestnut cake, a selection of local teas, and everything you need to make this your home away from home while in the Azores. There is plenty of space for people to spread out or to come together. Custom table tops that fit over the basalt bollards on the patio along with ample chairs and a patio umbrella help to extend the living space further and enable enjoyment of the south facing patio. Immaculately clean and a great value. We would definitely return.

Nuestra estancia en la casa fue incredible. Desde el primer momento, la comunicación fue clara y rápida, los anfitriones muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y equipado con todo lo necesario, cuidado al mínimo detalle. La ubicación es ideal, a pocos minutos del aeropuerto y del centro de la ciudad, en una zona muy tranquila con todos los servicios necessários muy próximos. Sin duda, estaremos encantados de volver a alojarnos en esta casa. Muchas gracias a los anfitriones.

Great space. Very spacious. Beautifully decorated. Was very quick answering any calls that we made to him. Beautiful place for a large group.

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Our host Tiago answered his phone every time I called. He was helpful with directions and assisted with all we needed or requested immediately. Very responsive and kind. We loved the layout of the home. Easy access in the door, the bedroom and bathroom walkin shower for very good for elderly people. All the rest including the awesome pool and view was great for the rest. We had 8 persons and we hope to come back again.

Beautiful place and very spacious house with many amenities. The host was extremely kind and communicative. We were informed in advance about certain shortcomings and were offered a discount. A nice gesture was the champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The only downside might have been the noticeable humidity, although this is quite understandable given the conditions and location. For this reason, the pizza oven took a long time to heat up, as the moisture had to evaporate. During the period we stayed (late December to early January), it was quite windy, rainy, and foggy, so it’s worth considering this in your plans.

Beautiful house and everything you need is there. It is located in outback Sao Miguel so go to a good supermarket before you arrive! Rui and Ricardo are terrific hosts.

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. A anfitriã Cristina foi ótima. Muito responsivo a perguntas e solicitações. A casa era incrível. Muito espaço, ótima piscina. Eu recomendaria reservar a casa se você for ficar em São Miguel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was beautiful, in a great location, and the perfect setup for our family. When we travel back, I will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Such an amazing place to stay, very private with stunning views. The house is gorgeous!

Carlos’s place was as described. It was very clean and had all the necessities. Carlos was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was fairly easy to locate his family home with GPS. It was approximately 1 hour from Ponta Delgada. The little town was quaint and authentic. I would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were accommodating and always available. It's just a shame we couldn't use the pool because of the weather. Thank you for the quick arrangements, we'd love to come back :)

Susana nos trató genial desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Tuve una urgencia y me recomendó un sitio al que ir. Nos mandó un mapa para organizar mejor la ruta y nos dió muchas recomendaciones que no habíamos tenido en cuenta. Tenemos muy claro que si volvemos, nos encantaría poder ir a Casa Vereda:)
