Sehr freundliche und aufgeschlossene Begrüssung und Verabschiedung beim Check-In/Check-Out. Bei Fragen auch immer erreichbar und hilfreich, auch mit Fotos. Das Zimmer war klein, aber fein. Es war niedlich eingerichtet und gab alles, was man brauchen könnte/angegeben ist. Alles war sauber und sonst hätte es auch selbst Putzutensilien gehabt. Die Matratze, die sie uns noch bereitgestellt hat für den Boden, war fast ein bisschen dünn, aber ausreichend. Man könnte sich nicht mehr wünschen, würde es sofort wieder buchen, wenn ich wieder nach Kyoto gehe :)

Logement très paisible, petit mais chaleureux je recommande ! Pas si loin du centre de Kyoto à seulement 8 min en transport. Si je suis de passage je n'hésiterais pas à louer de nouveau ce logement ! Hôte très réactif et accueillant

Definitely a good place for a solo traveller. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything and I hope to stay here again if I ever come to Kyoto 😁

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

This was one of our favourite Airbnb stays. To find a 46 sq m apartment in Kyoto during sakura season is amazing! Everything was so spacious and comfortable - exactly as described and identical to the photos on the website. Easily walkable to the metro and buses for sightseeing plus it is surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants and bars for eating. It was very quiet during the night so perfect for sleeping. May is a brilliant communicator, every aspect of our stay from check in to check out was clearly shared with us. Highly recommended as an option for Kyoto.

We stayed in the Gion House Upper Level and it was a great home away from home in Kyoto. The location is perfect: the street it's on is calm and private but it is just a few minutes walk away from many great restaurants in a charming old district of Kyoto. The house maintains the aesthetic of a past era while incorporating a small modern kitchen and a tidy bathroom. There are two bedrooms, one with a comfortable western-style bed and one in Japanese style on the floor, both with nice white bedding. Curtis and team were great to work with and very helpful and responsive when needed. This is a great spot to feel like you live in Kyoto!

J’ai passé un très bon séjour dans cette ville, le petit appartement était très agréable de même que le quartier. C’était très bien situé pour pouvoir visiter/ naviguer autour à pied ou en transports. Les supermarchés ou restaurants étaient rapide d’accès à pied.

Tei was a fantastic host who was always helpful and responsive with his replies. The place is beautiful, a quaint lodging with Japanese touches that gave us a ryokan feel even though we couldn't stay in one. Very close to buses that we found just as convenient as the subway. Even more so, though the ride was longer. Gave us time to chill out and look out at Kyoto as it took us to popular shrines and tourist places. Just note the stairs are quite steep and narrow, but like a lot of places in Japan - these lodgings are small but still more space for a family of 5 to spread out in the different rooms rather than stay in a hotel and be all on top of each other. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend this AirBnB. It is in a great location. It is a short walk to metro station. Also, it is located at the end of a nice shopping walkway and across from a beautiful canal. The interior has a lovely traditional Japanese style. The kitchen has the basics. The host is friendly, accomodatiing and flexible with bag drop off, check-in and check-out. A great place to stay in Kyoto!

We have wonderful stay at this place. The host was super friendly and helpful. The home was cozy and clean. The neighborhood was beautiful and convenient, walkable from train station. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable for 3 of us. It is within 15-25 mins walk to most attractions partly on narrow roads. Taxis can conveniently stop right outside the apt. The apt has easy-to-use amenities eg washer cum dryer, relaxing round bath tub, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, well-lit rooms on 2nd floor with comfortable floor mattresses. Little space downstairs if you have many big suitcases as stairways can be narrow to move them to second floor.

Can't beat the location if you want to visit Mt. Inari before or after the crowds. Since the grounds are open 24 hours, you can walk over anytime, day or night. And although the shops and shrine facilities are only staffed from about 9am to 6pm, you are free to walk the torii gates anytime, and it's absolutely surreal after dark. Also right next to a nice bridge over a picturesque river, and very close to a 7-11. Inside, the place is very nice, and certainly would stay there again.

This home was perfect for our Kyoto trip the area it’s located in is close to everything but not too close that it’s noisy and so after a long day you can actually relax and sleep so well here. Has all the essential amenities needed (shampoo/conditioner, a toiletry kit, laundry soap, disposable house shoes). Has a heating unit works very well as does the washing machine. The home was very clean. Upstairs there is a set up bedroom with two beds and a Japanese style room with floor beds in the closet that can be set up. There is two floors and two bathrooms, one on each floor. Home looks just like the pictures, very beautiful architecture and so spacious. We came here early March, there was light rain and the home provided umbrellas which was a lovely touch. There is a tv with an Apple TV. Overall a perfect choice and would stay here again in the future!

Perfect place to stay, very clean, very warm and great location near the stations. The samurai and other Japanese decorations were epic too. Highly recommended

We were there during cherry blossom season and the apartment’s windows open right onto a canal surrounded by cherry trees… absolutely breathtaking. The street had great restaurants, yet it was not loud at all. Overall a fantastic stay, and hoping to return.

This has been our favourite apartment so far in Japan. Nice bathroom, great TV set up, enough space for all our stuff (3 of us). We were pleased how walkable the location was, discovering many restaurants and food stalls we liked. Responsive hosts that allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early. Recommend!

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week-long stay in Kyoto. The main train station is just a few minutes away, but the apartment building is tucked away on a quiet side street. We used the in-room kitchen every morning to prepare breakfast, but also had access to a common kitchen on the main floor. Bathroom was quite spacious and water pressure strong! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.

La ubicación estaba super cómoda, hay un seven a unas 3 cuadras y hacíamos unos 7 min caminando a la estación, y de camino hay mini súper y una cafetería frente a la estación que estaba super rica, además el edificio es bonito y la habitación muy agradable. Lo recomiendo y volvería a hospedarme ahí!

Great place near restaurant and bus stations. Really cost effective for bag pack travellers.

A great space in a great spot. Less than a 3 minute walk from a Family Mart which is great for breakfast, snacks and basic items. 10 minute walk to the station which had both subway and JR lines for quick and easy access to the rest of Kyoto. Nice quiet neighborhood, nice rooms with good closet space. Jacky was very friendly and helpful.
