This was a perfect week long retreat for our summer vacation. We spent most of our time enjoying the kitchen, screened in porch, and the pool! Just a short trip to town, it’s easy to get groceries and the kitchen in well equipped for cooking! We were in the pool everyday and felt so relaxed and at ease in the beautiful home and peaceful scenery! Peter, who stopped by mid-week was lovely and helpful. Completely recommend for a week away!

This is a great place to relax! Extremely quiet, spectacular view and plenty of space for a family of 4 to 6 to spread out and chill. The private beach is a nice added touch and Baddeck is only a 2 minute drive, but I wouldn’t walk there, cars drive a little fast down that road and there’s no sidewalk. Tyler was a great host, explained everything perfectly, right down to recommending water shoes for the private beach ( which we had). There’s also a nice listing of local places and lots of brochures so you can find stuff to do. It was ~25 degrees when we stayed and it gets nice and cool at night so not having A/C isn’t a problem. There are so many windows that open in so many directions, you’ll catch a breeze.

We really enjoyed our trip to Sydney. Clean and welcoming accommodations. Lots of recommendations of things to see in do during your stay. Communication with Silvia was clear and prompt.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Keith & Donna’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect for us. Keith and Donna went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and always provided quick responses. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay!

We had such a great time! Loved being able to walk to the waterfront (caught the northern lights there one night!) As well as to town. The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh was a highlight of our trip. Our group appreciated the multiple methods of caffeination offered at the cottage; the kitchen was well equipped, and our beds were very comfy! Thanks again!

Had a great stay here! The place was super clean, comfortable, and in a really peaceful spot. Also loved how central it was, easy to get around and close to everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sydney who needs quick access to the airport, shopping, Sydney, or Glace Bay. Will definitely stay again!

From booking to check out we had a fantastic experience. Robbie was very responsive to my messages, made some great local recommendations and even had a little welcome treat bowl for us. The home was cozy, well kept, very clean and beautifully decorated.

My stay with Darlene and Marty was exceptional. I hope to go back many times. They work very hard to provide a good experience. They were readily available if needed and a pleasure to talk to. They keep their place exceptionally clean which was a pleasure to experience. I travel for work and stay at many places. In regards to cleanliness their place is at the top of the list, making it very comfortable. Thank you Darlene and Marty for everything.

Heather's place is a great place to stay! We really enjoyed our time there. It was very clean and comfortable and Heather was very welcoming! She allowed us to check in early and was very quick to respond when we had any questions. We would certainly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to returning!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Everything was great. Very clean. A little short on utensils. Would recommended the B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Total self recharge. Never felt more at home. Totally relaxing the house was amazing 👏. The deer, the beach the town atmosphere. Everything was above expectation. St. Peter's is totally underrated. Would 110 percent recommend 👌 perfection!
