Alex's place was fantastic! I travel a lot for work and had been to the area many times, but this was the first time I really enjoyed my stay. The Apartment is centrally located to everything Gainesville has to offer. The Apartment is very private and yet comfy and inviting. The bed is comfortable. However, as nice as the place is, the greatest thing about booking for Alex is Alex. The host was helpful, flexible, and thorough. At the end of my stay, I was informed by the site where I was working that I needed to stay another day. Alex not only helped me extend my stay, but gave me a better rate for the additional day! I would definitely stay at Alex's apartment again. Having coffee (which Alex provided with cream and sugar to make in the Keurig located in the kitchen) out on the deck in the early morning and listening to the nature surrounding the lake was a truly special experience. Stay at Alex's place. You won't be disappointed.

I had a great stay. The place is very easy to find and in a great location. Was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. Would highly recommend staying at river romance.

Mervin was an amazing host and his Airbnb was perfect. You have an amazing view right on the river, great restaurant underneath the listing and all around the location. Everything is walkable and convenient. We felt very safe and the place was clean and comfortable.

James was a great host and very responsive. One of the most prestine clean apartment and nicely designed. Great place to stay and so many events to see with great food. Lovely quiet and easy access.

The room was nice and the bed was super comfy, but the best part of this stay was the screened in porch looking over the river. The kitchenette has limited amenities, but sufficient for our needs. Very walkable.

Sidhant was a great host and responded to all of our needs quickly. Perfect for 2 large families enjoy time on the lake! We were able to dock our boat. Water depth is great here for boat and swimming. Dock was not far from the house as most others can be at Lake Lanier.

If ur looking for a quite and relaxing weekend this is the place for u from sun up to sun down. The only thing that its missing is a fire pit but the dock in the back will make up for that. Especially if u like to fish or read a book. I plan on rerent this place again.

Our stay was incredible! The home matched the listing exactly. Danielle and Erik were great communicators and made our trip super easy. Location was amazing - an easy walk to downtown Helen, which has so much to do! Amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. The outdoor space is stunning - right in the water. Easily accommodated our group, and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to stay here again next time we visit!

This house was perfect for our weekend fishing trip. Jane was flexible on the check in time which made our first day easier to coordinate. The host was quick to respond to questions. The back deck with the fireplace was great to socialize around.

We enjoyed staying for two weeks while our home was renovated. This home had enough space for my family and dogs. The path to the lake was beautiful and the dogs loved it. It was very cozy!!

JD was amazing! He was easy to communicate with and his home was clean and spacious. It was a perfect getaway for my family of nine and our pup. The kitchen and gathering room made it easy to make family meals and have multiple people in the kitchen - cooking and cutting and preparing. The little touches and effort to make guests comfortable were evident throughout the home and I would 100% recommend this spot for a relaxing, fun family trip. The hot tub, dock, multi-level deck, fire pit for s’mores, and surrounding trails and waterfalls made for a great holiday break, and Dahlonega, 15 minutes away, was truly a quaint, beautiful Hallmark town during the holidays. The kids loved the ice cream shop, Fudge Factory, and General Store. Thank you for a wonderful week! We’d love to return during the warmer months to take advantage of the paddle-boarding and kayaks.

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

The place was clean, cozy, and absolutely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice! The property was gorgeous and we even got to feed the trout off of the bridge! The hosts checked in on us on our first day to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to hike, there are plenty of good hikes within 20ish minutes of the place which was super convenient. It was the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful mountain getaway. We loved every minute!

Quick trip from Florida. Great spacious place for the family and pricing was on point comparatively to the surrounding market. Will 100% recommend and book this exact condo in the near future.

This was a very cozy, comfortable stay. A balcony overlooking the beautiful river. It had a dark, cold, comfortable bedroom. The king size bed was roomy with a great mattress. We felt at home.

Great and responsive Host. Location was great and within walking distance of Helen attractions. Home still had festive decorations and was very clean and cozy. Will definitely be back for Oktoberfest. Thanks for a great weekend!

This spot was amazing to stay in and we would absolutely visit again. Close enough to downtown to have fun but far enough away that you felt like you had a private space in the woods. The upstairs swing was pure bliss with a cozy, fluffy blanket on a brisk morning. The only real issue we ran into during our stay was with parking. The garage only fits 2 cars comfortably and we had 3. The person with the most reliable E brake gets the hill! Also, bring your own toiletries. They weren't provided and the local store is a little pricey.

We enjoyed everything about the stay. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything in Helen. I really liked the seasonal fireplace and how clean and cozy the condo was. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
