Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und im Wohnzimmer gab es einen Ventilator. Restaurants waren nicht sonderlich viele in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber mit dem Tuktuk kommt man schnell und billig überall hin. Am zweiten Abend wurden wir mit einer kleinen Mahlzeit überrascht.

Usha Treehouse is a true gem in the heart of Sri Lanka. My stay was nothing short of amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. The treehouse itself is simply breathtaking, offering an unparalleled view of the surrounding wildlife. It's the most incredible wildlife experience you could wish for in Sri Lanka, What truly set this experience apart, however, was the wonderful family who owns the treehouse. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay exceptionally special. They cooked the most delicious dinners, took me on an unforgettable fishing trip, and served the best Sri Lankan breakfast I've ever had. I can't recommend Usha Treehouse highly enough. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and remarkable stay in Sri Lanka.

We will forever remember our special stay at Maulie's place! We arrived late at night from our train ride from Colombo and Maulie picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with the most amazing dinner prepared under trees. We felt right at home! The food there is some of the best we had in Sri Lanka - especially the jack fruit curry! The birders cabin was the best as we felt like we were one with nature - the birds and insect sounds, the fire flies at night while you sleep under the mosquito nets. We also took the canoe onto the lake and it was the most magical serene experience! Maulie and her brother always made us feel so welcome and we would highly recommend this place for all nature lovers!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Linwewa Villa in Sigiriya, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff's warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Each meal was a delightful journey into Sri Lankan cuisine, showcasing fresh, local ingredients that tantalized the taste buds. The villa's serene atmosphere, nestled amidst nature with stunning lake views, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. I highly recommend Linwewa Villa to anyone seeking a harmonious blend of genuine hospitality, delectable food, and tranquil surroundings.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Anasuya’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at ease. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The amenities were perfect. We especially loved cozy kitchen , outdoor space, comfy bed. Anasuya and her sister were incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that they care deeply about their guests and want them to have a memorable experience. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Anuradhapura.We can’t wait to come back!

Samantha and Kauchi were the perfect hosts. On arrival were were given welcome drinks and Kauchi informed us of the local attractions, including the Hurulu eco park (where we visited and saw loads of wild elephants extremely close up and virtually deserted apart from 2 jeeps), Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and pidurangala. The room was lush, the pool cooling in the heat, and the bird life amazing! We ate traditional breakfast in the train hut whilst the train drop off people (it's a delight to watch). We also had some of the best home cooked food we tried in Sri Lanka, fresh as it can be. We felt so well looked after, cared for, and relaxed in this chilled out environment. It's virtually a deluxe homestay, but more! Their ethos of living of their land with minimal waste was inspirational. I will remember the great chats had with Kauchi who's English is excellent. Out of the 8 places we stayed in Sri Lanka over 18 days this place is equal first 🥇 place. Thank you so much everything team 🙏 x

Le logement était très agréable. Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuné copieux, tres bon et peu cher. Piscine agréable. Environnement calme et restaurants délicieux à proximité.

Had a lovely 2 nights at Yohann’s place. The house and grounds are beautiful in a very secluded area but easily accessible by car on well maintained tarmac. Chamara and Sampath were on site to help us check in and show us around the accommodation. They also provided a lovely bbq dinner on our arrival with excellent subsequent meals made completely according to our preferences. Would love to stay again and I’d highly recommend Yohann’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Hashans Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Hashan was so kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we could ask for. Hashan went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering helpful local tips and being quick to respond to any questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend staying at Hashans place.
