Excellent Staff! Very well maintained premises, neat and clean but the highlight has to be the staff. The host was very prompt and helpful, prior to and throughout the stay. A little out of the way and secluded.Not much to do around the property, but that's why we loved it. Better with your own vehicle for transport. Pls do get the staff to prepare your meals, the best food we had on our trip to SL. Would definitely stay at pineapple Villa on my next trip to SL. Thank you Tushari, Hema and Randini.

An amazing place to stay and enjoy the beauty that is Mirissa. Till was very proactive and helpful, with everything right from the instructions for the house to local recommendations. The house is very lovely, we were a big family of 8 and each one of us enjoyed the stay.

Lovely base for a family - so handy with a highchair, cot and toys! Anna was easy to communicate with and the place was as described. There were restaurants nearby. Only slight thing was it’s only fans not air con, so it was quite warm in the days but fine at night

We had such a lovely and tranquil stay! The home was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and the big glass windows are divine to enjoy at any time of day but especially at sunset as you can see the sun slowly setting behind the lush trees. We highly recommend arranging a private yoga lesson from Melanie, she was very experienced and the session felt really personalised, it was such a treat in such a beautiful environment. The home is really close proximity to the beach and the staff on site were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful big villa just outside Galle fort. 5 mins by tuktuk. Spacious bedrooms and a large pool. Excellent food too. We were very well looked after. The house is on a quiet street with not much within walking distance so need to tuktuk everywhere.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön und bietet die perfekte Möglichkeit, sich vollkommen zu entspannen. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit dort! Nalaka und Chandana sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich von Anfang an willkommen. Besonders Nalaka ist ein großartiger Koch und hat uns mit köstlichen Menüs verwöhnt. Jedes Gericht war mit viel Liebe zubereitet und ein echtes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Wir können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Vi bodde i huset i sex veckor och gladdes mycket över generösa utrymmen överlag. Huset är väl placerat med gångavstånd till många olika restauranger och barer. Avståndet till stränder är något längre, ca 1,5 km. Personalen tog väl hand om oss och var lyhörda för eventuella önskemål. De kunde ordna transporter av skilda slag och hjälpte till med allt vi undrade över. En i personalen kunde mot en mindre ersättning laga underbart god lankesisk mat som vi åt i den stora matsalen med plats för åtta personer. Poolen överraskade oss, den är finare än som framgår av bilderna. Ett litet minus är att trädgården runt huset är liten och utsikten från poolen är en mur. På muren kunde man ibland se apor och ekorrar och på gräsytorna spankulerade påfåglar. AC finns i sovrummen men ingen sådan i sällskapsutrymmen vilket ibland gör dessa svåra att använda. Köket är mycket basic. Ugnen som anges i beskrivningen finns i personalköket men den kunde vi använda.

We loved our stay at JC's villa! The serene location, with monkeys in the distant trees and peacocks roaming the lawn, was complemented by a spacious house, vast grounds, and an enormous swimming pool that both the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you to Bandara and the team for taking such great care of us, and to JC for having us.

I’m travelling solo and this place was just perfect for me, right in the heart of beautiful lush greens and small rivers, I had a wonderful time. It’s very secluded and I enjoyed that, definitely a place for nature lovers in the sense that, you’re in nature lol. Lots of sitting space and there is an a/c inside which is definitely needed. Vinodh and his wife provided snacks, water, milk, juice, and tea, what a hospitable host, I literally cannot say enough about them. He always answered me, helped arrange activities, and he made me an Incredible spread for breakfast ( which I really miss now). I have to mention, the river safari he arranged for me was on of the highlights of my trip so far, I highly recommend it, DANESH WAS THE BEST!! Just book it, you won’t regret it

We hadden een heel leuke tijd in Karin haar. Alles is perfect in orde en schoon! Leuk strand op wandelafstand en alles is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de tuktuk driver. Sathish de house manager was heel vriendelijk en gemakkelijk bereikbaar bij vragen.

Etmba House is such a treat! The home is cozy, stunning, and perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed spending our days there. Everything is clean, and the crew—Nuan, Michael, and Shehaan—are super attentive and outstanding. A special mention to Thilakshi, whose delicious local dishes were so fun to try. It’s the ideal spot to relax, whether lounging by the pool, soaking in the quiet, or listening to the calls of peacocks. The location is fantastic too—close to Galle and several beautiful beaches, with Autos and Ubers readily available. Lara is communicative and can answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend it and we cannot wait to be back!

We had a lovely stay at Valentina’s villa. Perfect location, with excellent communication and support from Valentina. A lovely, chilled way to end our stay in Sri Lanka.

It was a beautiful property we stayed with kids. We enjoyed the pool and the food. Care taker Isru was very humble. Everything was perfect.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit hier! Die Unterkunft und das Gelände sind wunderschön und sehr gepflegt! Die Cabana ist sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet mit AC und wir haben das Außenbad so geliebt! Der Blick ins Grüne ist unglaublich schön und wir konnten viele Tiere sehen wie Affen, Pfauen, Vögel und Streifenhörnchen. Die Geräuschkulisse ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam. Sie waren stets als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung und gaben uns viele gute und hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung und ganz Sri Lanka. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen, was sie für uns zubereiteten war so lecker und frisch und sie gingen auf unsere Wünsche ein. Wir haben uns hier wie zuhause gefühlt und jede Sekunde hier geliebt. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich ein versteckter Diamant. Wir legen jedem diese Unterkunft ans Herz! Vielen Dank für alles!

Diese Unterkunft war unser absolutes Highlight in jeglicher Hinsicht. Nicht nur, dass sie unsere hohen Erwartungen bei weitem Übertroffen hat, auch der Gastgeber Duminda, genannt Dudu ist ein ganz besonderer Mensch. Die Chemie hat von Anfang an gestimmt. Dudu ist ein äußert empathischer zuvorkommender Mensch, war allzeit zur Stelle und konnte uns viele wertvolle Tipps geben. Die vielen Tipps und Informationen zu Land und Leuten sowie zur Historie Sri Lankas waren äußert profund und wertvoll. Er fuhr uns täglich mit seinem Tuk Tuk wohin wir wollten und holte uns auch wieder ab. Auch bei einer Erkrankung zeigte er sich absolut fürsorglich empfohl uns die besten Ärzte und Apotheken und fuhr uns sogar zu einer ayurvedischen Professorin um Medikamte gegen Dengue-Fieber zu besorgen. Das Ambiente der Cabanas ist sehr geschmackvoll umgeben von einem wundervollen Garten der wie ein Biotop wirkt. Wir konnten allerlei Tiere und Pflanzen beobachten, die wir zu vor noch nie gesehen haben.

Très bon séjour de quelques jours chez Kasun. Paisible, reposant, confortable, sécurisant.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Lage im Dschungel umgeben von Einheimischen. Sehr gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ( Bus und Bahn) und ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, super bequemes Bett, Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer und in den anderen Zimmern befinden sich Ventilatoren. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und es gibt sogar einen Wasserfilter, so dass auch ausreichend Trinkwasser vorhanden ist. Die Dusche hat kein heißes Wasser, aber bei 34 Grad Außentemperatur ist lauwarmes Wasser vollkommen ausreichend. Es gibt einen kleinen süßen Garten, in welchem man auch mal die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Ansprechpartnerin war für uns Mudeeka, die uns geholfen hat, einen Ausflug in den Yala Nationalpark zu organisieren und an unserem letzten Abend gemeinsam mit ihrer Familie einen Kochkurs veranstaltet hat. Wir waren insgesamt 2 Wochen zu Gast, haben aber zwischendurch eine Backpacking-Tour durchs Landesinnere unternommen.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne woche am sauberen ruhigen strand. Sind jede nacht mit dem rauschen der wellen eingeschlafen. Das frühstück konnten wir uns auf nachfrage individuel zusammen stellen lassen. Uns wurde mit salz, pfeffer und öl zum kochen ausgeholfen. Sowie mit zusätzliches datenvolumen für das wlan. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben die zeit dort sehr genossen!!! Karo und thorge

We hebben een hele prettige tijd gehad in de mooie woning. We zouden deze plek zeker aanbevelen! De host is prettig in omgang en reageert snel.

Shamila wasn't present personally but he ensured all the things are in place :) His mother was very helpful and considerate. We used the utensils and tried to make as less dirty as possible :P Location is spot on, away from hustle-bustle of the town and close to the bus stop. We will recommend the stay for all our friends :)
