My husband and I were looking for a couple of days of peace and quiet and some relaxation, away from everyday life madness and chaos. We couldn’t have chosen a more tranquil location. Darren and Sinead’s lodge was the perfect setting, picturesque views of fields and farm animals and at night, that blackest skies you could ever see. The hot tub made relaxation even better!! Even when the rain was pouring down, we were still in there enjoying ourselves! The interior of the lodge was beautiful, very cosy and calming. The lodge had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, towels, bathrobes and WiFi to name a few. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and we will definitely be back at some point ⭐️

Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

Great accommodation and great host! Peaceful stay with beautiful surroundings! Our son particularly loved the hot tub and visits from the dogs!

We had an amazing time at Arranview. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The cafe on sight was excellent and well priced. The lakes and scenery on sight were beautiful and very nice to walk around. Well worth the money, will definitely be back!

Fantastic cabin in great location for exploring the Borders region.The cabin is lovely, equipped with everything needed and there were even a few goodies on arrival too. Hot tub was wonderful in the Scottish summer. We couldnt recommend Castlehill enough to anyone wanting a top end stay in beautiful surroundings.

We had an absolute peaceful stay at this stunning wigwam. The location is perfect & the wigwam is kitted out with everything you will need. The hot tub was amazing & the hosts couldn’t be anymore helpful! We cannot wait to come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Really lovely location, not too far from some great walks! Nice pub for food around the corner. Overall a really enjoyable stay!

A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

We had a one night stay in this immaculately clean caravan. The space both looks and smells fresh and clean, such a pleasure. There was a smart TV and games for the kids/ family as well as colouring books and playing cards. Excellent shower with shower gel and shampoo/ conditioner which was a lovely touch. We'd love to return. Really handy for the road up and down from Scotland to England too!

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, cosy and clean. Very communicative hosts and really straight forward process checking both in and out. Loads of utensils and amenities available to use which is not always guaranteed in a self catering stay! Thank you so much, it was lovely ⭐️

Karen’s caravan is spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location. The beach is walking distance and there are lovely walks along the coast. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The guide/info book and information supplied by Karen were really helpful. Karen replied to all messages quickly. Kirroughtree Visitors Centre is 35 minutes from the caravan which has brilliant walks and red squirrels!

Had a fantastic few days stay in this beautiful caravan. Lindsay was very responsive to our questions and all the little things she left for us was just nice. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Brilliant host xx

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Little Minnows Cabin. Despite the terrible weather, the cabin provided a warm and comfortable refuge from the storm. Our dog had a blast running around off-lead in her own private field, it was wonderful to have a secure space for her to explore freely. Helen was an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful, and we're excited to return and discover more of the surrounding area.

We had the most amazing time at the Herons’s Nest this week- my partner and I cannot wait to come back! The pod itself was immaculate, so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We had fabulous weather so made full use of the hot tub, bbq and fire pit with smores! Our dogs had the best time running around the garden safely as it was fully enclosed as well. Callum and Suzi were friendly, warm and so informative. It was such a wonderful experience and we are already looking to book our next stay!

We had a great time staying in Roberts annex. It was peaceful and private, with lovely views of the garden and local wildlife. Robert was very helpful. He gathered some wood for us to have a little campfire, and baked us some bread, which was a lovely touch. The annex was spotless and had all necessary amenities. There are shops within 5-10 minute drive, a must-see deer park with hundreds of deer, and you can be at the beach within 3 minutes walk. There is also a golf course right next door, it's a challenge for the beginner golfer, but had some amazing views.

Charlotte's places was nothing short of magical. This cosy shepherds hut was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away. The hut itself was done to an incredibly high standard and left very homely. The surrounding areas were very peaceful and made for a fabulous sunset; waking up to the birds was definitely and highlight. My only regret was not staying longer! I look forward to booking another trip in the future. Thank you so much for hosting us both.

We had a really enjoyable stay. It's a large, comfortable, warm and well equipped property in a fantastic location. We liked that there are walks to Kippford and Rockliffe from the front door and mountain biking in Dalbeattie Forest and wild swimming in Barean Loch are very close by. The best part, though, was the front deck, which was a sun trap even at the end of March, and from it we watched the Red Squirrels, Deer, Crossbills, Woodpeckers and lots of other Birdlife.

Lovely caravan that is super clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of space around the site for the kids to run about. Good location to explore the area. We enjoyed visiting the beach at girvan.

Lovely holiday lodge. Very clean and well decorated and smelled amazing. It felt like a lovely cozy and quiet spot for our weekend away. Lovely to have privacy and views with the hot tub. We would have maybe liked the hot tub to be a little hotter but it was wild weather.

Amazing place to stay, so peaceful and serene. We had glorious weather & Sarah and Mark were fantastic hosts. We forgot to get a bbq bag and they gave us theirs, supplied us with delicious fresh eggs, local recommendations and we even borrowed their bikes. They were so helpful and friendly. The pod was spotless, bed very comfy and the tub was perfect for star gazing and a small glimpse of the northern lights. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin is located in a great spot. Very peaceful, private and cozy. Kate has been very responsive and provided clear instructions about the entrance to the property and check in. The wood burner in the cabin keeps the whole cabin nice and toasty. The bathroom is beautiful and had a fantastic shower with a view! Overall very pleased with the stay and would return.

We couldn't fault anything. We arrived in the dark so missed the sign for the street but immediately we had the hosts respond and even escort us to the door and show us around. The place itself was amazing with everything you need and more. We were overwhelmed with the generosity and quality. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Massive praise to the hosts
