Such a beautiful and cozy cottage! Lovely woodlands walk right by the cottage for the dog and Ayr and Troon beach are only a 20-30min drive away. The garden is not fully enclosed but was able to tie the dog to his long lead and let him roam the garden. Will definitely be back!

I spent a long weekend at Simon and Belinda’s place in Chapel Stile. They were abroad during my stay, but this didn’t matter - their communication was excellent and the place was superb, with lots of local recommendations. Thanks, would certainly stay again.

We had a weekend lovely stay in the cottage. It was very clean and cosy with a completely fenced in back garden with a hot tub. Lovely walks around and a shop within walking distance. Jane was very responsive when we had questions, which was highly appreciated. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend!

this is our second stay here and it's a brilliant little spot. hot tub is lovely and the accommodation is all well appointed. great walks by the river and good enclosed garden for dogs. we'll be back for a third visit I'm sure!

Fantastic location. However it is on a main road. I did know that in advance and wasn’t too noisy anyways. The cottage is lovely and spacious but the windows do need a bit of love. They will need replacing soon as they don’t close well. The hot tub was super and well needed after a day out on the bike or out hiking. Really enjoyed the short break and the sun shone for all the days I was here.

We had a lovely stay at Claire’s property. I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the space. The property was beautifully maintained, with all the amenities you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was always warm surrounded by beautiful scenery. We will definitely be returning.

we found a little gem in this cottage, great location to tour around, found some lovely walks with great views in the surrounding area, the roads are a bit dodgy lots of potholes so drive carefully, the accommodation was well equipped nice little touches like complementary chessboard,procecco, fresh eggs, tea coffee & condiments, we missed a freezer compartment in the fridge but managed for a few days break, the bed was comphy the shower was lovely and the hot tub was great with amazing views in a private garden for our dogs to run freely, there was little treats left for them aswell, ide definitely recommend the stables

The coach house was perfect for our family group of 10 adults. The sitting room and dining area was a lovely space to relax and dine in. We loved the wood burning stove which gives out such a good heat. The whole house was warm and cosy during a cold February weekend. Bed linen and towels were good quality and we enjoyed tasting local produce from the hamper. The drive in was further than we had expected but it’s a lovely private and peaceful location. The hot tub was a welcome addition although it did take a long time ( plus lots of logs) to get up to temperature. I would recommend the Coach House for a large party or gathering - we all enjoyed our stay!

The location was perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the little extras (like fresh coffee and cozy blankets) made it feel like a luxury getaway. An absolutely lovely cosy cottage in beautiful and quiet surroundings. The cottage is only a short drive from great walks around the Lake District. The bath is spectacular and was perfect after a long day up Scafell pike!

Great central place to stay to explore the lakes! Stuart was a great host and communicated well so everything went smoothly from check in to leaving. Parking space also out front which was a bonus! The accommodation was very spacious and clean. Great walking distance to local shops and walks. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

Amazing place to stay and fantastic host! We could not have asked for better, lovely cottage in a stunning location. Added bonus was the overnight snow, which the dogs loved! Would recommend the local hotel/pub, extremely friendly and the food was amazing. We cannot wait to return!

we had a wonderful, comfortable and cosy stay over new years! we loved feeding the chickens at the bottom of the garden and seeing the sheep every morning! the bed was incredibly comfortable! thank you so much!

A fabulous stay as always. Arlene is very welcoming and friendly. The accommdation was great (so cozy and well equipped) and everything ran smoothly from arrival to departure. 5 star!!!

We had such a lovely time in Moffat and having the cottage to come back to after a day of walking and sightseeing is like a home away from home. It is so peaceful and you have absolutely everything you need inside. Jan and Martin are both lovely and made us feel very welcome. We come to Moffat at least once a year and we would not hesitate staying hear again and again

Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday- the cottage really feels like a home from home and there are lots of little extras which make the experience, such as games, paintings, pantry items and we loved watching the birds on the feeders - we saw wood peckers and a buzzard sat in the tree opposite. Adrienne is really responsive and made the experience really easy for us! Thanks again x

Great little cottage, very clean and had everything needed for our stay. Bedroom is very spacious with loads of light from the velux windows in roof. Great little sunroom. Very handy for lots of historic places to visit. Nice restaurants within short driving distance. Will definitely stay here again.

We came for few days away as a group of friends to celebrate all our birthdays. Lovely few relaxing days in the peace and quiet. Host allowed an hour later check out which was exceptionally kind. Great space, plenty of room and comfortable, clean beds. Will be back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the old stable house. It's a magnificent surrounding to unwind and spend time with loved ones.

We really enjoyed the accommodation and had a good time. Allonby is small and quiet, and it was good that we'd stocked up on food etc before we got there. The views across the Firth are lovely, but we found the landscape apart from that less exciting. (It would be great for cyclists though!)That said, as a quiet get-away, it fitted the bill very nicely.

Really enjoyed our stay at Duckling Cottage, it was a really quiet and private placement. The cottage itself was a very traditional cottage, very warm, cosy and quaint. The surrounding area was very peaceful and only a short drive to nearby bustling towns and villages with an abundance of amenities. Michelle was very forthright and proactive with all the adequate information that there wasn’t a need for any real communication. Highly recommend.
