This was a beautiful home to stay at for our visit to Fairfield University. It was peaceful location near the school. The house itself was gorgeous with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic place in a perfect location on Fire Island. Maryann is also an incredible host—by far the smoothest communications process of any vacation rental I’ve stayed in. Would love to return to this place and check out some fantastic other properties she has. One word to the wise though— if you come early in FI offseason, there is a lot of maintenance work being done around town—-the neighbors across street somehow had someone power washing their fence for two days straight and there is some car traffic on the island. Not a dealbreaker but worth being mindful of…

We really enjoyed our stay at Ya & Diego's home. It was even nicer than it looked in the pictures and the location was perfect. We were able to get downtown within 8 minutes, Harbor Point was only approximately 10 - 12 minutes, and the new Whole Foods market was 1/2 mile away, so it was very convenient. Diego was extremely responsive before, during, and after our trip. We look forward to visiting again this summer to enjoy the yard and pool which will make the stay even nicer!

My group had a wonderful stay. We felt right at home. The property was private and the house was clean. The backyard is beautiful with a great pool. Erol was responsive throughout our stay. I would stay here again!

This house was great and a perfect layout for a group of visiting friends! It is easily one of the nicest places to stay in the Pines, while also feeling distinctly Fire Island. The hosts were super helpful, friendly, and informative. We appreciated all their hard work to create a space that had everything needed to make an ideal Fire Island experience.

This house has a river view which I liked the most. Because the land is so big, I feel I am in a forest next to a river with quiet and private environment. The owner is great and responded in no time. I will refer to my friends.

Great place, exactly as advertised. Terrific location near ferry dock (making arrival/check-in extremely easy and fast, which was a relief after a long trip to get to Fire Island), near the little main hub of Cherry Grove… minutes or less to the general store, restaurants, bars. 5 minute walk to the beach. Although there is some bar noise at night, the unit is well sound-insulated. Hosts extremely friendly and communicative, full of info and recommendations. They take pride in their place and in being great hosts. Cozy place with very good value for Fire Island. The pool was a nice plus - salt water pool, lit at night. Met some of the other residents in the building who were extremely friendly and fun. Bed was very comfy. We slept in a lot. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Nice desk in the bedroom for the few times work called. Roku TV. Lots of board games Bedroom has AC which worked great. Beach chairs and towels included. Coin laundry on site worked well. Great value. Would definitely return!

The location of this stay is amazing! There is a beautiful view of the city line just outside the building door. Walkable to the ferry and a 20min car ride into the city. Great location for a group of 6! I would highly recommend walking to bagels on pine (10min walk from the Airbnb) for breakfast.

The space is adorable, and we loved the history of the rental and the community. The location was perfect for us—close to everything and secluded all at the same time. Also Jeff is an amazing host and made us feel welcome/at home. The next time we have to head to NY for a family visit we will definitely try to stay here again.
