Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Gert. Zum Glück hat Gert auch einen späteren Check-In möglich gemacht. Bei einem der Spaziergänge in Gerts Grundstück kam uns eine Kap-Kobra entgegen, welche zum Glück schnell die Flucht ergriff. Der Sternenhimmel bei Nacht lädt zum Verweilen ein.

It is an amazing space - we had the best time around the boma, our daughter loved pottering about the garden (and the swings) and the beach is just around the corner. An awesome find in a great area with plenty to do. Kirsten was very accommodating to our requests and made our stay a great one.

This spot is absolutely GORGEOUS, we were completely in awe as we arrived during sunset and woke up to the first light touching the tips of the mountains, truly blown away by the beauty of this little gem of a place. The dam was extremely beautiful and refreshing to swim in even in the middle of winter! We will definitely be returning!

absolutely amazing space! quiet, private and picturesque. what a wonderful space to get away from the city and relax in nature. the river access is amazing and the amenities include everything you could need. access to the property is a bit bumpy for normal sedan cars but we made it nonetheless. thank you so much Piers and family! amazing stay will definately be back

This a a fabulous find. The view is sensational and although someone else mentioned the road being close it’s behind the property and car parking area and not noticeable. The morning sunrise over the forest valley is very special. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely for before and after the Robberg Hike especially the pool!

Das Cottage ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen. Man ist mit dem Auto jedoch in ein paar Minuten in Plettenberg Bay. Für uns war es eine idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren in die Umgebung und zum Kanu fahren auf dem Bitou River. Wir haben es uns abends auf der herrlichen Terrasse gemütlich gemacht und den tollen Grill/Braai ausgiebig genutzt. Bettina und Paul waren äußerst hilfreich und liebenswert. Wir hätten uns für die Tage keine schönere Unterkunft vorstellen können.

Big house perfect for our stay. Hermanus is very small so everything is closeby. No towels and soap in the bathrooms.

Amazing location with a cottage providing rustic charm. Several hikes to beautiful vistas and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the sunset. Nearest supermarket is 17km away, so be sure to bring everything with you. Lovely pond for zip line and canoe activities

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

Die Unterkunft mit der Ausstattung und diesem Mega Ausblick ist ein Traum 🤩Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und haben die zwei ( leider nur ) Abende mit dem Ausblick in einer der 2 Bedroom Luxury Lodge sehr genossen. Die kleine Stadt hat tolle ausgefallene Cafés und Restaurants , die alle fussläufig zu erreichen sind ( The Girls on the Square, Mozambik, the Green Shed ). Wilderness ist auf jeden Fall eine Übernachtung wert um den Flair dieser kleinen Stadt zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und das nette Boardwalk Lodge Team ist auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne wert. Great location on the main beach with an ocean view from the balcony. Awesome host and friendly housekeeping staff. Spacious unit, neat and sparkly clean (serviced daily). Would love to return again and would definitely recommend the place.
