we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

If you're looking for a place in Plett for a family holiday with young kids (ours are 9 & 6) then this is a superb house. Nice safe and peaceful complex, communal areas are clean, the pools are great, and the house has everything you need. BUT please note the 3rd outside bedroom is actually tiny. It's a double bed, right up against the wall. My parents (Granny and Granddad) also joined us and no way they could use that as a bedroom. They can't climb over each other to get out of bed! So they moved into the 2nd bedroom and our kids slept on mattresses on the floor for 10 nights. The outside room is perfect for 1 teenager/adult. The house is well equipped, and lots to do on rainy days. It definitely needs some TLC and in need of a modernization but overall a good family holiday house in Plett.

What a gem! We stayed for two nights and took a drive through the reserve. Managed to spot some Kude and Giraffe up close. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There's a very nice pool that both adults and kids can enjoy. We will definitely be going back.

We stayed at Sue's in our way up the garden route and it was just what we needed! The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived, the property fit our family of 4 perfectly and it really was a lovely quant little flat. The surroundings were amazing - so beautiful. Would happily come back!

What an amazing little place! We loved everything about our stay, apart from our visit being too short. "Room With a View" definitely lived up to its name, absolutely beautiful views. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable with absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need. John, was so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay and getting to see how beautiful Knysna is. Thank you so much to you all, we will most definitely be back and hopefully for much longer! x

Definitely a magical and peaceful place! Google maps was misleading and finding the place was a challenge. Some signage on the road would be very helpfull. Anique and Jonathan are lovely people and very welcoming. The feel of the cob built house is like nothing else and we were very spoiled to wake up with stunning views and fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. There are some beautiful local attractions like swimming in a waterfall and breathtaking mountain pass drives. Jonathan and Anique are happy to share there knowledge about permaculture. We couldn't recommend it more highly especially when you love being surrounded by nature! Absoluty highlight of our trip!

We stayed for 1 night in the cottage and it was lovely. Comfortable bed, spacious, good kitchen etc. The property is beautiful and peaceful and it's pet friendly. Hostage are lovely and friendly as is their lovely dog.

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Sehr angenehm sind die hohen Decken die Räume wirken dadurch sehr schön. toll ist auch die Veranda mit den vielen Sitz- und Liege- Gelegenheiten

Sometimes you find an apartment you secretly want to keep to yourself – this was one of those places. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and with all the little touches that make you feel at home. The location was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. We slept like babies and woke up to sunshine and good vibes. The host was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful – we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended (even though a part of me wants to keep it a secret)!

This was a great stay! Accross the road from the lagoon and awesome view provides a great environment to relax! Staff are very helpful and always available!

Such a wonderful, peaceful weekend. Right by the river with a lovely deck to hang out on. Spacious lawn for the young adult to play games. Very private and restful. Thank you David, we will definitely make use of Marshall Farm again.

Best house we had ever stayed at! House is huge, modern and even more amazing than in pictures. Everything is comfortable, views are absolutely incredible, neighborhood is beautiful and safe, location is perfect. Susan is an excellent host. We wish to be back soon!!!

Loved Bridgette and Maggie's place, and their communication was on point. and the hostess; Iolanda was exceptional and very friendly.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Caroline's beautiful Candlewood, and I can't express how wonderful the experience was! Upon entering the gates to the Eco Estate, we were welcomed by Zebra, Springbok and Bontebok. From the moment we arrived at Candlewood, we were greeted with warmth, hospitality and an amazing view that made us feel right at home. The house was stunning, tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that truly enhanced our stay. The views from the deck were breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for morning coffee and evening relaxation. We watched pods of Dolphins frolicking in the waves every day and loved our morning walks on the pristine beach. Caroline was very accommodating, attentive and responsive, always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend Candlewood to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, serene retreat. I can’t wait to return! Thank you, Caroline, for an unforgettable experience!

My stay at Heidi's River Treehouse was incredibly relaxing. The location is simply stunning, and the tranquility there is truly soothing. Heidi is an exceptional host, very friendly and helpful. A small tip for those who like to sleep in: since the sleeping area cannot be completely darkened and the birds are quite active in the morning, I recommend bringing an eye mask and earplugs. However, this didn't detract from my wonderful overall experience, and I would gladly return!

Can't wait to return! We had a wonderful stay at Kirsten's place in Thesen Island. We were very comfortable - Everything was spotless and the amenities made you feel right at home with an extra spoil of the beautiful canals wrapping around the property. We had our 18 month old with us and she also enjoyed it so much with lots of space to run and explore. The 2x lounges with couches and TV's kept the whole family happy while cricket and rugby was on the little one could still get her own screen time in. Checkers60 and a few restaurants deliver with ease which was a big bonus that gave us more time to sit and relax and enjoy the space. We will definitely be back again and again. A big thanks to the responsive, friendly hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at Andre's place in Knysna. Thesen Island is such a great, central place to stay in Knysna. The house was perfect for our family, and catered for our every need. We will definitely be returning.

The perfect place for a family getaway. You will want for absolutely nothing if you choose to stay here. Great location, very centrally located and within walking distance of most supermarkets. The place itself is absolutely stunning, with every single amenity you could possibly ask for and the most amazing views.
