Better than expected. Fantastic and well-stocked kitchen - everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving feast. So many thoughtful details for a comfortable stay. Hot tub and backyard were awesome. Nice walkable neighborhood. Close to all things horses and handy to downtown. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again when in town.

It was a real home not the usual stuff you see on the apps. 2 fireplaces , huge outdoors and clean as could be. It was a perfect space inside and outside especially for the holidays. Definitely worth it.

Overall, a great 2-week stay! Sherrie was friendly, responsive and helpful. The unit was spacious, comfortable and beautiful...home-like, tidy and well-decorated. It was a little challenging to work with the unusual "kitchen" setup for the duration of my time, but I was able to make it work with Sherrie's help. (there is a full-sized fridge, a mini fridge, 2 microwaves and a well-functioning hot plate...there is just no kitchen sink... Sherrie helped me by doing my dishes for me a number of times and was very easygoing about offering that help). This place is very cute and comfortable - NOT bare-bones, like you sometimes get on here. Definitely would recommend and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! A quick weekend trip was made special with the comfort of the home and the beautiful landscape, especially during sunrise/sunset. The home was spotless and we quickly felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay and it may have been better than the first. Our family couldn't wait for this return trip and it was so relaxing and peaceful. My son is a huge fan of the hot tub and I love that we could bring the doggo with us! The house is beautifully decotared and homey. And I've never had a rental with so many amenities and a kitchen so well stocked!

The house was beautiful and very nicely furnished along with a kitchen a chef would feel at home in. The view of the Kentucky River was perfect with interesting wildlife all around. There were six of us and we all had nicely appointed bedrooms (5 of them) each with its own bathroom. We counted seating at the tables and island for at least 21, so the house can easily accommodate a group larger than ours. The house was spotless and Angela was a very good host. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for first class accommodations in the Lexington area.

Nice spot to stay when visiting Kentucky! Everything was neat and clean, and we appreciated the comfy living room furniture!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We had the most relaxing, peaceful trip. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was so cold we didn’t get to enjoy the many outdoor features of the property however the cozy fireplace was exactly what we needed. The couch is so comfortable perfect for winter afternoon naps. The bath and shower were so nice. The adjustable bed was an excellent touch. And the majestic river almost close enough to jump in was so peaceful to watch. Thank you so much! We plan to come back in the spring.

BEST HOST EVER!!!! Anessa was an awesome. This place was everything we needed for a home away from home. It was peace and quiet and friendly neighbors that waved upon passing. The lake view, the firepit, and hot tub were very nice to enjoy. This home carried an antique theme that was top tier and added a nice touch of character. The amenities throughout, we needed nothing but to show up!! House was very clean and the products needed were easy to find and accessible. Anessa is very knowledgable on places to go to enhance the experience in the area. Anessa, thank you for being an amazing host. We made the right choice and will choose you again!

Stayed for my son’s wedding at Lockridge venue. Angela’s place was really beautiful and peaceful. Definitely would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here for the KY State swim meet at Centre. It was so peaceful and comfy, providing a perfect place to relax. The views were beautiful and the location easy to find with specific instructions from owner. Would love to stay again.

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures! We had a family gathering to celebrate Christmas and it accommodated everyone very comfortably. My family and I really enjoyed all the amenities especially the hot tub and the theater room. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and baking pots, pans and utensils. The bedrooms were extremely roomy, and the master has a beautiful view of the Dix river. The drive to the house was a little tricky in the snow but the GPS gave very accurate directions. Amanda was super responsive and would return messages within minutes. Definitely plan to come back when the weather is nicer.

Shelby is extremely gracious and the epitome of super host! Well stocked kitchen, super clean and expansive rooms with lots of thoughtful touches. Love the huge master bed and bath! Great yard for pups and Shelby is very responsive and attentive. This is the ONLY place we’ll stay at when in the area. Love, love, love this location!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at The Blue Heron for a long weekend, hoping to get some golf in. Shelly was helpful prior to our arrival with grocery and dinner suggestions. We were able to find the place with no problems and had easy access to get in. Very quiet location. Did not see anyone the entire stay. The main house was the perfect size for 4 people. Living room/kitchen provided enough space for us all to be together. The deck would have be great space with the fire pit and outdoor seating. We just happened to come during a 4 day nonstop rain. Which did make for great sleeping. The boathouse provided space for the couple we came with. It had a queen bed, small sitting area bathroom and a great view. The main house had a great loft for the other bedroom. The bed and pillows were amazing. Although we did not get one round of golf in, we did find fun things to do in Lexington. It was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back when the weather is better/warmer.

It was a wonderful retreat with family and a beautiful home and location.
