We had such a lovely stay here during my kids’ spring break! The location was perfect—close enough to Charlotte for easy access to activities, but tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that gave us space to relax and recharge. The in-law suite (converted garage) was thoughtfully done—clean, cozy, and with everything we needed. My kids especially loved the working piano, which added a fun and creative touch to our evenings and made the space feel even more homey and personal. One of the highlights was seeing the adorable cat from the listing photos! It felt like a sweet little welcome, and the kids were delighted. Our hosts were responsive, kind, and clearly cared about their space and their guests’ experience. I highly recommend this spot for families or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Charlotte!

our work crew had a great time here one bedroom had private aceess to the front porch which was nice i had a beautiful king size bed his staff works really hard to clean the place up we were allowed an early check in i met the staff they were super friendly we cooked out there was eood already loaded in a fire pit its an old historic district snd it was a co,y relaxing place to stay

What a beautiful house! Right on the water, nature everywhere, and peaceful tranquility. The house looked just like the photos but the size of the rooms aren't conveyed well in the photos. The bedrooms were huge as was the kitchen and living areas. The most well stocked home I've ever stayed in, with everything you can think of and more. We booked it for a girls weekend and never left the house for anything but food, and only because we had already decided we weren't cooking. Many great restaurants near by, so that was a plus. Will definitely book with Dean again!

The home was great. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. The living room and kitchen/dining are so spacious. Pictures of the listing don’t do it justice. It is a very clean and clutter-free home, which we enjoyed. Beds were comfy.

This was a wonderful place to stay, especially during the holidays. The local restaurants were amazing and charlotte was nearby which made this a great spot outside the city. Would love to stay again.

Amazing place, perfect for our extended family to stay and gather while we were all in town for a wedding. The home is well stocked and thoughtfully supplied with everything that helped make our stay be memorable and fun! Definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area or looking for a fun local staycation!

It was great to rent from an actual person! I will not rent when I get an automated reply from an inquiry. Jennifer was super-helpful, especially since we needed to extend the stay not once, but twice, due to the repair work on our home that required us to stay there for that long in the first place. We were there for over 2 weeks. Such a quiet and peaceful place. Kids loved the walk around the neighborhood - which took us to several streets where you could see Lake Wylie, too! It's an older home, and some items could use minor repairs (upstairs toilet handle should be replaced) but it wasn't anything that detracted too much from our stay. Very comfortable home and I was able to cook complete meals in the kitchen. Easy wi-fi and TV instructiojns, too. Would recommend for large groups or big families. Lots of gathering spaces - so you're never on top of each other.

If you are thinking of staying at a this place, please do. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The place was extremely clean with straightforward directions on checking in and out. Trevon was really kind when we communicated with him despite it being really late at night. There are easy places to walk to nearby for food as well as the outlets. It is like a 10 min drive from the CLT airport. Overall this place was a great stay.

We stayed for over a week and had a fantastic time. Everything in the apartment was brand new from the furniture to the flooring, carpets and appliances. Soo much attention to detail and extremely clean. The area was very safe, had a large grocery store, Chick-fil-a fil and Jersey Mike's within 10min walking distance. Highly recommend, we'll definitely stay here again.

second time staying at Amores place and I will stay again when in the area next year.

This place was perfect for our weekend trip. We hiked Crowders Mountain (~20 min drive) and bar hopped around Gastonia. This place was right in the middle of town, so it was very easy to walk around. The place itself is in an older building but updated inside. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and other amenities also. The beds were comfy. There was a bit of noise from the street, but it didn't bother us. Overall, this was a great place for us. Thanks, Ashley!

Ellen & JD were fantastic hosts. Their home was cute, well maintained and spotless. We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the morning with our coffee listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. They had all their instructions very clearly laid out. A folder with some local activities and restaurant brochures was laid out for us to use. Water pressure was great in the shower, which we appreciated. The bed was comfy and we were very comfortable in their home. Ellen even saw that we enjoyed coffee, in our profile, and made sure a coffee pot and accessories were available for us. For us, the location was perfect! Just 3 miles to visit family. We now have a beautiful, peaceful place to stay when we come for visits and we look forward to our next one.

House is as described located in quiet neighborhood it might look a little sketchy from outside if your not from the south but house is beautiful on the inside we brought extra tv for bedroom because I can’t sleep with out tv but other than that everything was perfect traveling with my two dogs they love the freedom of running around in the yard neighbor’s had chickens.lol that paid us a visit a couple times but it didn’t bother me just remember to check to see if their out roaming before I let dogs out very convenient to everything trip was for house hunting so I got to know this area very well will book again if available when I return

My bff of 24+yrs and I took a 6 day girls trip (from south Alabama)to escape work, kiddos/spouses, and stayed at Bev’s. She is super friendly, super responsive, her property was amazing. I could have stayed out there all day/night reading and drinking coffee. Will definitely come back. Her spot is exactly as described, perfect for two people if you are looking to get away for peace/quiet. This was our first time ever using a BnB and thankfully it was a wonderful experience. Bev even gave us a large goodie bag with snacks/drinks just way above and beyond to make us comfortable/happy. Wonderful host/property.

THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT... ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER STAID IN. WYNN RESPONDED IN A TIMELY MATTER. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED. I BOOKED THIS LAST MINUTE AND WAS SO WORRIED SOMETHING WAS GOING TO GO WRONG, BUT IT DIDN'T. THANKS SOOO MUCH WYNN.

It was fantastic! Great spot. Bring soap and coffee pods, those two things would have been amazing had I thought about it. Overall such a great location, cute place. Great for 1-2 people who want to walk around uptown. Directions seem complicated until you follow them and then it makes sense. The only thing I had an issue was the code to get into the garage but someone let me in.

Great place to stay in downtown charlotte. Walking distance to many restaurants and lots of things to do. Apartment was very clean and nice inside. Looks exactly like the photos. Would def stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Linda Beth was an excellent host! The place was well decorated, clean and close to restaurants and the lake. She was extremely friendly and was super responsive to all our needs. We would definitely stay here again!
