Gaucín : locations de villas de vacances

We stayed for two weeks, the location of the villa is great - a very short drive to the supermarket, coffee places, and into Sorogrande marina itself. The Villa is beautiful, spacious and light and Veena is an excellent host who sourced a travel cot and high chair at short notice and was extremely helpful and responsive from initial booking to checkout. The pool is great and the terrace is perfect for cooking on the bbq and chilling in the evening. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough, it was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents.

A fantastic stay in a wonderful private villa. The grounds are massive and inside the villa is peaceful and calming. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Marie was always responsive and helpful too. All in all I’d recommend.

Lovely villa, incredibly comfy beds. Martin is also a great host and was incredibly responsive and helpful over Whats-App. Was perfect for 12 of us. We hired a car and that definitely was helpful for getting shopping etc.

Spacious and well laid out - we had three generations in our party and it allowed for different things to happen in various parts of the villa. Clean, well maintained with all desired amenities, everything worked and there were lots of nice little touches, like a water fountain with chilled water. The pool is great and good for both little ones, with a shallow area, as well as people who want a deeper swimming area, and the location is very private. We had a great time there and Peggy struck a good balance between being very helpful but not intrusive.

The place was beautiful and the family had a great stay. Roger was a great a host and responded any question or request in no time.

Leyla and her team worked tirelessly on our arrival day to clear up a considerable amount of mess left by the last visitors! There were no problems during our stay and the villa met all our needs. I hope we left her less work to do after our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Amealia, the pictures do not do the villa justice. The rooms were all huge and had their own bathrooms. The pool and cabana area was our favourite, perfect for bbqs, evening drinks and lounging/ relaxing by the pool all day long. Jacqui and Kenny went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, even set up the bbq for us, and we can’t thank them enough. The villa & kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and more plus extra home touches that you don’t get with most villas. Great location, just a 15 minute drive from Puerto Banus but nestled into a scenic mountain view. A short walk to a local supermarket, pharmacy and a couple of local bars / restaurants if you don’t fancy going into town. Thanks again, we’ll be coming back if we’re ever in Marbella again!

We the villa very much. It even exceeded our expectations. Inga gave us a warm welcome and explained everything to us. Thank you Inga for your great assistance for everything, including all your wonderfull restaurant recommendations. We love to come back.

The house was pretty much as described and had everything we needed. Some bits are a bit tired but not an issue. The views are spectacular. You get the sea, the coast, the mountains and the sunsets. It’s a million dollar view. The pool is a good size and the balcony eating area is great. The gardens are also beautiful and the entire site is very private. Our one issue was with WiFi and I know Collin is getting cable fitted. We looked at a lot of places and some homes looked sharper on the website but we liked the situation and we were not let down. You need a car by the way. We plan to go back next summer.

We had the best stay at Luisa's villa! It was way bigger than we expected from the pictures with essentially 3 apartments in 1 but with still a perfect sitting out area for the whole family. The views from the swimming pool were gorgeous and the garden was very big. Villa was perfect for the kids as well - loads of space to run around with trampoline, hammock and fenced off pool so we didn't have to worry about them falling in. We used the bbq lots, visited nearby beaches which were all lovely, went to the Bahia aqua park only 15 minute drive away, visited Gibralter rock to see monkeys. Honestly I think this was the best villa I've ever stayed in! Thanks Luisa!

The views from the main floor are spectacular, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We immediately felt at home throughout our stay. The villa is in a great location close to golf courses and the beach, and in addition there are lots of options for day trips close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Just arrived home from a week staying in the beautiful Casa Calma. The property is even better in person and has everything you could possibly need and more. Spotlessly clean with the most comfortable beds, we had the best nights sleep! The outside areas are absolutely breathtaking and feel so private. During our stay we were quite unlucky to have experienced a lot of rain but Dirk the owner was always checking in and gave us lots of recommendations for days out to entertain our young children, all of which they enjoyed! Dirks restaurant recommendations also did not disappoint, we particularly loved Nosso. We felt right at home and look forward to our next visit! Thank you :)

From the moment we arrived, our host treated us like cherished friends, curating an experience that transformed our trip into something truly magical. Their restaurant recommendations weren’t just good—they were *exceptional*. Every spot they suggested (from cozy hidden gems to lively local favorites) became an instant highlight, proving they have an insider’s knowledge of the area. But it didn’t stop there. Our host was there at every turn, offering thoughtful tips on places to explore, booking reservations, and even sharing little-known trails and viewpoints that made us feel like we’d unlocked the city’s best-kept secrets. Their warmth and attentiveness were unmatched—whether we needed a last-minute umbrella during a surprise rainstorm or advice on the perfect sunset spot for a romantic moment, they delivered with genuine care. The space itself? Insane!

6 of us enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Villa. The Social areas and the pool were great spaces to relax and enjoy the day. Alex was very responsive with any questions we had and kindly allowed us to check in early. My only advice for future guests is to bring your insect repellent, we had endured a lot of bites.

Spent a full month at Tanya’s place and can only say such a wonderful comfortable home with a beyond stunning view. Even better than described. Tanya was extraordinarily helpful with all requests. Definitely hope to return! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful time staying in the villa. The villa is spacious, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality cooking utensils. There was plenty of fridge/freezer space and a drinks cooler. There is a large high quality gas bbq on the terrace which was fantastic. The only downside is the outdoor table only sits 8 people when the villa is for 12. But this was hardly an issue as there is plenty other seating available. A highlight is the pool which is large enough to swim lengths in and deep enough for diving in the deep end. Dragos was a great and friendly host. He provided quick and helpful responses to any questions we had, met us promptly on arrival. The local area is lovely - a large Carrefour is a 5 minute walk away, and so is the beach. The beach is sandy but has a narrow band of large sharp rocks in the shallow. One of our part badly injured his foot on one of the rocks so would advise caution with young children.

Alex was a great host from the moment he responded to our last minute request to book and throughout the 6 nights stay. The property is located a 10 to 15 minute drive / taxi from Estepona centre / beaches but benefits from an elevated position giving a lovely sea view in peaceful surroundings. All rooms are fitted out to a good standard, everything worked well, decent WiFi and the AC in all rooms was very effective and quiet. Outside there is a wonderful veranda with seating and a large dining table which was perfect for BBQ evenings with the family and beyond that a good sized pool with sunbeds. Additionally, there is a great outdoor seating area off the first floor master bedroom with enhanced sea views. Overall, it was very easy to relax into the villa and enjoy family time there without any hassles.

We had a lovely week at Eva's place. It was very quiet and private and the house felt very homely from the moment we got there. Inside was very clean and tidy. The bedrooms are spacious and the facilities for eating and washing were great too - we had everything we needed for the entire week. The outdoor space is excellent for sunbathing during the day, going in the pool and sitting outside and eating (BBQs) in the evening. The view from the back garden is also really stunning too. Eva was a great host - she checked up a couple of times on us and got back to me straight away when I had some questions about the house and the area. Thank you Eva for being there for us. Overall it was a great place to relax and unwind - and will be top of my list next time we have a family holiday.

Rafael was a truly delightful host, very thoughtful. The place has everything you could need for a stay, and more. Very comfortable beds. The villa is down a track so you will need a good car as Rafael advises, but even in unprecedented floods, we still had access along the track. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend.

It’s worth what we paid for. Very well equipped place with all the necessary things. Very spacious to hang around and also the location is very peaceful with good view. Recommend to all to experience.

Gorgeous villa in a beautiful setting! Only 8-10 minutes in a taxi to Marbella old town and 2 big supermarkets within 10 minutes walking distance! We made good use of the pool and the bbq! Thank you!☺️

We hebben echt een top vakantie gehad. Ruime woning heerlijk zwembad. Mooie tuin. Fijne badkamers. Rustieke meubels, maar die zijn typisch Spaans dus vonden wij prima en sfeervol. Keuken wat gedateerd maar alles werkt en ruim voldoende spullen aanwezig voor 12 personen zoals glazen, borden, pannen, schalen, bestek. Naar de gezellige haven van Puerto Banus loop je binnen 20 minuten de weekmarkt waar van alles te koop is zit op 5 minuten. Restaurantjes winkels supermarkt ook op loopafstand. Eerste gedeelte is even een klimmetje maar prima te doen. Kortom top huis top locatie en een fantastische vakantie! Een echte aanrader!

Claude est un super hôte ! La villa est parfaitement adapté aux personnes en fauteuil roulant ! Il y’a une siège élévateur pour la mise à l’eau et un transat haut et stable pour les transferts Le reste de l’immense résidence c’est plus délicat mais pour ma part la maison me suffisait pas besoin d’aller ailleurs quand on a une piscine privée à disposition. Et oui comme la quasi totalité des locations de villas en Espagne faut une voiture pour accéder à la maison. Mais qui vient sans voiture dans une villa ?? En tout cas la maison est sympa. Merci à Antonia qui nous a reçu le jour de notre arrivée et nous a expliqué le fonctionnement de la maison. Belle terrasse avec un immense store ban pour déjeuner à l’ombre. Il manquerait peut-être juste un parasol pour rester au bord de la piscine sur le transat PMR lol Merci Claude. On repassera !
