Only word i have….is AMAZING…exactly how pictures look and people say. Plenty of yard..dogs loved it…very clean, host very friendly and responsive. Will recommend to everyone and will be back

Rocky Acres is a charming little cottage tucked in one of the few seemingly flat area up a mountain side. We were greeted with many deer the first morning there (around 15 or 16). I enjoyed petting amd talking to the horses there. Later on, we wandered up the path to the very large moss covered boulders there on the property. We found prickly pear cactus nestled in the moss there. This place seemed to be pulled from a fairytale. The house is just 10 mins or so from Desota Park and not very far at all from Desota Falls, Little River Falls,1 a and Fort Payne. GPS doesn't recognize the adress. It brought us to the end of the road, but no farther. However, Derek had sent detailed instructions, and we found the house with no problems. We had a minor problem come up, and Derek fixed it very quickly. The road to the house is steep and a bit rough, but we took it slow and made it fine. We definitely would stay here again.

Catherine was a wonderful host! We booked last minute and her and her cleaner made everything work out perfectly for us! Any problems we had she answered within minutes and was proactive in getting anything she could done for us! We will definitely look forward to staying again

My family and I had a great stay. The cabin was amazing and cozy. It featured all amenities needed and more. Easy instruction upon arrival and departure. My family plans on making this an annual trip moving forward. We had a great time!! Thank you Jacob for being so accommodating. We look forward to our next visit.

The view from the deck is worth the price of admission! The home is lovely. Unfortunately, we were in Dalton for a wedding, so we didn’t get to spend as many hours in the house as we would have liked. For us, this was the perfect, peaceful setting for us to gather. As mother of the bride, I loved having beauty & peace all around me so I could rest in the midst of a lot of activity.

We live this place. We will stay here again

This is an amazing and cosy cabin with tonnes to do, and with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We came as a group of 8, and although it was a little snug at times, we loved it and had a great time. We would highly recommend it!

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!
