The apartment was the perfect base for exploring Catania. The location is unbeatable as everything is at walking distance, and yet outside of the turistic area. Lots of things to do and try nearby, especially in the market. It really gives you a glance at the authentic sicilian everyday life. But what truly sets this place apart is the kidness of the host. Nausicaa is very friendly and understanding, very responsive to our needs and she really helped us through an unexpected event. Would highly recommend this apartament and would love to come back!

Paolo’s apartment is very centrally located and tastefully furnished, right in the heart of the city but tucked away on a quiet street. The beds were comfortable and everything in the flat worked efficiently. There’s efficient air-conditioning and good wi-fi. Paolo was friendly and helpful. I’d love to stay in his beautiful apartment again. Five stars!

Utili i tuoi consigli, servizi a due passi. Catania è splendida in ogni stagione e con tanto da vedere. Grazie per la gradita sorpresa di benvenuto. Ritornerò molto volentieri e con nuovi amici perché ci hai incuriosito parecchio con i tuoi racconti su Catania e dintorni. The apartment is spacious for 4 people, with 2 separate bedrooms, a living room, and 3 (!) balconies. There is a good washing machine indeed. The kitchen has everything including a microwave, a toaster, kitchenware and an oven, excepting only a dishwasher and a coffee maker. There were soluble coffee and olive oil and many spices for cooking available. There are 3 big groceries and a few bakeries nearby. We could even pre-order fresh "cornetti con pistacchio" to pick them up the next day. They also offer a delivery to the apartment :-) Near the building or on the street we were always able to find a free parking space, without any issues to (our anyway insured) car. There are two AC systems in every bedroom, capable of both heating and cooling. The host was very friendly and helpful. He even met us personally. Just if you don't know Italian, be sure to use a translator. Location is 10-15 minutes of driving from the Piazza Maravigna (free parking) or airport. Thanks Christopher!

I stayed for a month remote working and had a lovely time. Vittorio and his sister Barbara were so kind and helpful. Apartment well equipped and wifi super fast. There are good amenities close-by such as a bar, fishmonger and butchers. You are near the bus train station where you can easily travel to places like Modica, Ragusa and Catania (it is possible to travel around without a car). My personal highlight was the roof terrace. Coming from a cold climate, Sicily in November was warm and I spend lots of time up there eating breakfast, lunch etc.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Emanuele ! Il nous a bien accueilli à notre arrivée, nous donnant plusieurs suggestions d'endroits à visiter à Catane. L'appartement est grand et superbe. Nous avons pu profiter des deux balcons et les deux airs climatisés était grandement appréciés. Le quartier est tranquille, près des services et marchés. Il y a un arrêt d'autobus pour Taormina à 5 minutes à pied, et la gare centrale est à 20 minutes, ce qui est très pratique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Apartamento muy bien ubicado. Damiano y su madre nos han ayudado en todo lo que le hemos pedido tras tener un problema durante la estancia. Siempre estaremos muy agradecidos por su ayuda.

En réalité, nous n’avons pas séjourné dans le logement. Il y a eu un erreur dans la réservation. Elle nous à aider avec Airbnb pour l’annulation et s’assurer que nous n’ayons pas de frais.

Above all, the upstairs deck is amazing. We hoped for nicer weather so we could be up there even more often. And there’s even a second little deck off of the bedroom. Good size kitchen, big bedroom (only one side had a bed-side lamp though), lots of closet space, big windows to let in the light. The location is perfect, right in the middle of things: many restaurants are within minutes of walking, a fantastic bakery is close by, the Valley of the Temples is a 30 minute walk (downhill) and both the bus and train station are less than 10 minutes away. Small grocery stores are within 10 minutes and a bigger grocery store (R7) is just a 20 minutes away walk … that is until the giant Conad store around the corner opens April 9.

Bel appartement bien équipé idéalement situé entre Catane et l'Etna. Andrea est un super hôte qui fait tout pour satisfaire ses visiteurs. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

The apartment is absolutely breathtaking! I think you probably can’t find a better view of Etna in the city than Antoine’s apartment and its rooftop terrace. If you’re lucky like us, you can observe Etna erupting at night! We appreciated a lot the modern and funky interior design as well as all the amenities that were available. Also the location was great and very central, so that you can go to the city center for a nice dinner every evening. Antoine also suggested us a parking lot nearby that we used, so that our car was safely parked and not exposed to the driving skills of locals.

Gennaro and his family are great and very kind hosts. Flat is located in clean and safe modern part of town just 20 minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo, trough authentic streets, old buildings, parks and local markets. AliBus Connection with Airport is perfect, AliBus station is just in the front of the building. Central bus station is 10 minutes walk down the streat. Local food stores and Lidl are located next to the building. Restaurants that Gennaro recommend are close and affordable with good food on the menu. Definitely we will come back again, highly recommend!

Great apartment in a very walkable location. Had everything we need. Also have to call out how incredible the amazing pillow setup is (there are many different kinds to choose from) -- better than even many 5 star hotels! Only knock would be the TV setup - but was not a problem for us. Would definitely recommend!

Apartment is worth recommending! Clean, private and in a great location (City centre, close to all great restaurants). Chiara gave us a clear instructions and replied super-fast when we had some problems! We had a great stay! Fully recommend ❤️

Bellissimo appartamento nel centro di Catania. Spazioso, pulito, luminoso. Precy ci ha aiutato ogni volta che abbiamo chiesto qualcosa. Unico inconveniente è' stato il rumore del mercato di mattina presto: può iniziare alle 4-5 del mattino. Se è un problema, meglio scegliere un posto fuori dal centro

La casa de Alverio es increible! Las vistas frente al mar, la luz, tiene todo lo que necesitas! Alverio fue muy majo, nos recibió en persona y dio algunas recomendaciones de Siracusa, muy útiles ya que era nuestra primera vez y nos sirvió para ubicarnos. Levantarse todos los días mirando al puerto con los barcos en el mar... ojalá pudiera quedarme más! Si puedo, volveré sin duda!

I had an amazing stay! Although the location is extremely close to restaurants, it’s very quiet. The room was uncomfortable and decorated to feel serene and peaceful. The host was so kind. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The view and large windows were worth the entire trip to Catania! I’d stay here again.

Um Catania zu entdecken, eine perfekte Lage! Vom Flughafen aus mit Taxi, Bus oder Mietwagen unter 10min erreichbar. In der Stadt kann man sich dann zu Fuß bewegen. Die Wohnung liegt quasi auf dem bekannten Fischmarkt, was vor und Nachteile hat. Einerseits hat man rundum Möglichkeiten zum Einkehren, andererseits hat man auch immer Trubel, wobei unsere Nächte immer ruhig waren. Marco und Ambra haben super schnell auf Fragen reagiert und haben uns alle Fragen beantwortet! Tipps und Empfehlungen kamen sogar proaktiv. Die Wohnung ist riesig, wir waren nur zu zweit, aber 4 Leute können locker dort wohnen. Küche, Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Können die Wohnung und die Vermieter nur weiterempfehlen!

I enjoyed my stay. It has everything you need and an area to do laundry, which is so great on a long trip.

Livio's place is spectacular, and we could not have wished for a more beautiful home during our stay in Catania. The apartment is a stunning 18th century noble Sicilian palace, which has been carefully restored and is difficult to explain in words. We spent hours staring at the ornate ceilings, it makes you feel like royalty. The location is perfect, with dozens of restaurants steps away, and daily markets of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish right outside your door. Livio is a fantastic host, who always went above and beyond for us. He arranged parking for our vehicle, helped us with our luggage, and was very quick to respond anytime we had a question. Easily one of my best stays on AirBnb. Thank you Livio! Highly recommend, A++

L'appartement de Virginie est superbe, bien entretenu et confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié sa localisation, au cœur du centre historique mais dans une rue paisible et la flexibilité et la gentillesse de Velia, qui accueille très chaleureusement les voyageurs en leur fournissant des informations utiles et de bonnes idées de visite.
