great location, with lots to do, good restaurants and bar, the location is one of the few dog friendly locations in penang. the apartment is nice and well located, it was clean and tidy

We were a party of 4 and we had a wonderful 3-night stay. There was some confusion over the way the AC magnet keys (this was essential to operate the AC units: 1 key per AC) were combined with the door keys but it was all in the way that the owners wanted to encourage energy saving. We had an issue with the permutations of leaving enough AC keys for those remaining in the unit and those who were going out to be able to use the key card for entering the building. The owner responded promptly and explained how it all worked. In particular, the washer in the unit was extremely useful. There was enough detergent to use and ample space to dry our clothes in the "yard". The TV was not as easy to use but we didn't mind as we were able to connect our laptop to watch our own Netflix. Everything else was convenient and we would gladly return!

The place is in very good location with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The host is very responsive for all my requests. Check in instructions is very clear and precise. Recommended in deed.

It’s a very nice stay. The house is on a high floor with an excellent view. The interior is very comfortable. It’s a place i would like to recommend to my friends and other travelers! The only downside is that there aren’t many places/restaurants to explore within walking distance. However, you can reach the bustling area of Georgetown within 10mins by grab.

We really enjoyed our stay. Booking was smooth and continued through to when we checked out. Replies were very quick. Someone met us at the house to let us in and get us settled and no time were we waiting. The house was better than we expected, tastefully decorated, large, accommodated our family of 4 very comfortably. The location was perfect for walking around Georgetown, we spend 3 nights and could have easily stayed for more. There was a coffee shop just across the street that had fantastic coffee, opened at 9am, we are early risers so would have went more if it was open earlier. There were a few very minor things that I think the house could use/provide but will message host separately as nothing noteworthy to change our stay. All and all we had a great time and would definately recommend Stewart Lane and Georgetown.

The house is amazing. We had friends and family flying in for a wedding for a few days, the place was just nice to have simple catchup to with some friends and family who came down. We love that it has 2 living halls and a big dining area, we had different small groups hanging out in each area and not forgetting the rooftop was a nice hangout spot too. Things to improve….There is a big space on the 2nd floor too, however the aircond wasn’t working, if not that too will be a nice hangout space. Also the extra mattresses is more like a comforters, it’s too thin and not suitable for sleeping. But overall, our family totally enjoyed a serene stay. 5stars for service as well, check in was easy and responses were excellent. Even when we had left behind our belongings after check out, we were able to retrieve it with ease. Thanks!

The area is really peaceful and is few mins walk to karpal singh drive. Whole house is comfortable and has enough equipments like kitchenware, body shampoo and big garage. Very recommended 👍🏻

This place was a perfect find for our holiday with kids. The place had a spacious porch which was suitable for activities for the children. In addition to that, we did a lot of cooking since we stayed over the Chinese New Year period. The place could accommodate everyone and everything that we needed to do. Cutleries and dishes were enough for the pax required. Ming Brothers was also responsive to requests for cleaning tools despite it being the eve of a major holiday. Thanks for the great location to stay. Keep it up & we highly recommend Ming’s home.

The location was in a great spot, super close to 711, cafés, and restaurants. It was nice and quiet too, which was a plus. The host was awesome-really responsive and gave clear instructions. The place itself was just okay, nothing special, but it matched the price. Overall, not a bad deal!

The host is very responsive, quick to solve my requests. The condo unit and the building are all very clean, the facilities are great. The only con is it's not very walkable to downtown area, and there is no decent restaurant within walking distance, the taxi ride is very cheap though. Overall is a great stay.

The apartment is located in the Landmark building which caters for a lot of Airbnb units. The building is surrounded by a lot of shopping and food options but if you want to see Penang it would be best to drive/Grab. This unit is well looked after and extremely well optioned with free parking, big tv, Netflix, micro, water dispenser etc. etc and the block has an excellent gym and pool with great views. The Homey Planet team are very friendly and helpful and respond quickly to any questions or requests. We had the apt on the 33rd floor with amazing views of the Gurney shoreline and over the affluent Tg Tokong bungalows. On New Years Eve the view of the fireworks along the waterfront and across the island was just awesome. The furniture and beds are a bit hard wearing to cope with the high traffic - this could easily pass as a luxury apartment with an upgrade of the furnishings but at the current price it’s amazing value for money. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Suet Er's place, and we appreciated the helpful communication and the comfortable space. The apartment was clean and tidy. Highly recommended for people who want to bring family to vocation in Penang.

Chris was an Amazing Host.! The place is literally “By the Sea”. Chris’ apartment had an amazing view into the beach and the mountains. The sunset view is worth it all.!!! The place was super clean, the kitchen was pristine and the bathroom spotless. The place matched exactly as per the description, with all the amenities. The swimming pool in the apartment is beautiful. It’s a walkable distance from the beach, where it was decent beach shacks. One nice Lebanese restaurant is right outside. Otherwise, the nearest market place is a five minute grab ride away. Chris is super responsive, sweet , friendly and understanding. 5 stars definitely.

I always stay here when I come to Penang. The apartment suits me and I love that there is hair saloon, mini-mart, spectacles shop, restaurants just downstairs. Also there are 2 local coffee shops within 5mins walk away and a local Kway Teow stall which operates from 6.30pm till past midnight. Unless this apartment is booked by someone else, I always choose to stay here.

Whether you are visiting Penang for a few days or a few weeks, stop looking this is the place to stay! I stayed for a month and the apartment had everything I needed. All of my local friends commented on how great the location was, very central and walkable to the historic downtown, but removed enough for it to be quiet and have easy access to other areas of the island. The building the apartment is located in was great, very secure with a convenience store and Starbucks on the ground floor. There are many other home stays in the building so there are always tourists in and out but it was always very quiet in the apartment so noise wasn’t an issue. in The apartment was as pictured. I did a fair bit of writing/research in the apartment and found the living area to be comfortable and wifi fast enough for remote work. A/C + fan combo worked well so I was never hot. Didn’t notice any strong smells as other reviewers did. Highly recommend!

Lim’s a great host, very responsive and provided clear information for swift and easy check in process. The location was great too, walkable to nearby restaurants and gurney bay for an evening stroll.
