The house is a great stay and the host is fantastic! Kristen is very responsive, helpful, and even offered to extend our stay at a reduced rate. The house is right on the water with an amazing dock. The community is gated and has great amenities--we enjoyed the playground and the hiking trails. Definitely beats any hotel in the area!

We had a perfect weekend! The size of the house was great for our 3 family trip. We enjoyed the patio and the separate living room spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed using the Big Green Egg to grill. We would stay here again for sure!

Highly recommended for a fishing trip. Boat house was covered (with electric for charging as well as lights to make it easy for working on boat after dark). Also, easy access out to the main lake for fishing with the launch very close by the cottage (making in/out super convenient). Finally, the cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We were in town for our daughters wedding and the game room, mini golf course and fire pit area kept the wedding party entertained in our downtime. The location is beautiful and private! The host is very responsive and we had no issues. We are already talking about returning for a summer trip next year!

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. Very cozy. We loved the decor and the location. We stayed in a lot, and with six adults, we never felt cramped or like we were getting in each other's way. There is plenty of seating for everyone in the den. We played games, cooked, watched TV and movies, and enjoyed the fire pit and the deck.

A fantastic 5 star stay at this house! The hot tub was AMAZING, super clean & beautiful views. The main king bed is ridiculously comfortable with a great mattress, sheets & duvet especially cozy with the fireplace which was easy to light with the flip of a switch. We caught a huge catfish from the dock & enjoyed the recommendation to hike at the Effigy. We did 5 miles. We also ate at the Bistro on Lake Oconee which was delish. We plan to return in the summer! I will absolutely try to book David’s listing any time I visit the area. also, there was a big storm headed in our direction and David called me to be sure we were aware and were comfortable. He was apologetic for the weather which was nothing he could control. It was so kind of him!

This was a beautiful Airbnb! My fiancé and I staid the night as we were driving through on a road trip. The Airbnb was right on the water and had a peaceful backyard as well as a kayak, and it was so so cozy inside. It was by far one of our favorite Airbnb stays, we will definitely be returning! Wonderful cottage with a comfortable bed and all the amenities.

The perfect getaway. My wife and I wanted to explore Savannah for our wedding anniversary and this cottage was the perfect place to stay. Very close to historical downtown and Tybee. It was nice to enjoy the busy town during the day and come back to a quiet neighborhood with a wonderful view, and a place with everything you could need. Would love to come back and stay again!

The Osprey Cottage was a slice of heaven. The home has great views of the lake and is well insulated so you don’t hear any external noise. The bed was comfortable, the house was clean and well decorated. Communicating with Mark was effortless and he always responded to my questions promptly. We hiked the Providence Canyon State Park, ate at some great restaurants in Eufaula, my husband caught fish after fish off of Mark’s dock. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

It is a Lakeside Gem indeed! Our family has stayed in this location numerous times and it never disappoints. The house is lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately the lake levels were already down this year, we are assuming due to the storm that had passed through, so swimming and boat rentals were not an option but the views and weather were still spectacular! We are looking forward to returning as soon as we can!

The cottage was so relaxing and perfect for our trip. We traveled to Trenton to visit with my son, who is attending SLTC and wanted a place to hangout like we were home. The extras provided we so appreciated and it was nice to chill. There isn’t a lot to do in Trenton, and the restaurants are limited—but we didn’t mind to cook. The firepit was great, such a peaceful setting. Don’t hesitate to book, I’d stay here again without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was attractively decorated both inside and out. The view of the lake was beautiful from the living room, the deck and the dock. We also appreciated the quiet and peace. We’d definitely love to stay again in the future.
