We had high expectations, and they were exceeded. There were so many well thought out small details that don't show up in the description -- all of which added to the lovely experience. We had a wonderful time. A few additional notes. We had a cold weather stay (March). As it is a stand alone guest house, I was a bit concerned about it being chilly. It was incredibly well and evenly heated. I suspect it is a heated floor as the floor itself was also nice and warm everywhere. The hot tub is particularly wonderful -- much better than your average hot tub. Spacious, various seating options, warm, and a very enjoyable atmosphere in that little side fenced area. Note that some activities/museums are closed in March, so be sure to research ahead. It didn't detract from our lovely time, but good to know in advance. We also found some surprising restaurant gems in Orillia (Toronto Pho Orillia and Picnic Tapas and Wine were two favourites). Better than advertised! Fantastic choice!

Irene's house was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. We had a great stay and especially enjoyed the hot tub after a day of cross-country skiing.

Really enjoyed my stay at this peaceful and private retreat! My favourite little surprise was that I could watch horses running around in a neighbouring field from the living room window 🐎🐎🐎 The house was incredibly clean and easy to find, and the hosts offered some lovely suggestions on local activities I might enjoy. Would recommend a stay 👍🏻

I recently stayed at Sylvia’s place for a long birthday weekend with my sisters. The home looks gorgeous on the listing, but was even better in person! We each had our own room, and each room was spacious enough for us to share if we wanted. It felt very private, even though we were only a 15 minute drive from all of our downtown destinations. There were plenty of stores and local eateries in walking distance. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were great water pressure, and there were clear instructions throughout the home where needed. Sylvia was communicative with us from booking, to 1-2 days before the trip, the hours leading up, and immediately after checkout. I would 10/10 recommend this home for any vacation with family or friends, and when I return to Toronto I will definitely be staying here if it’s available!

Yan is a warm host, we feel comportable and live like home. Room is clear and well decoration. I would like to viait there next trip

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Alex's place! From the very beginning, Alex was responsive, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Natalie, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. She ensured that everything was in perfect working order and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Great place for large groups. BBQ and firepit patio are great amenities. Multiple large rooms with games and huge TV's helps spread out a larger guest group. Very spacious parking area with high visibility for getting out on the road. Very private location with no visible residencies. Gas and food all within a 5 min drive.

Roomy, bright and peaceful bed and breakfast nestled in a wooded and peaceful “mountainside” provincial park. Warm and welcoming hosts who have a deep appreciation for the local area. Lovely handmade breakfast and hand crafted coffee, outdoor hot tub, lovely views with plentiful and beautiful spaces to relax and hang out. Thank you Armand and Nonie for hosting our little mini “cure”! Your light and artistic space coupled with your warm hospitality totally re-energized us and was the perfect spot for our late winter ski-escape!

We came for the long weekend (15 of us) and had a blast. We loved the surrounding areas and went for a long walk, the trees, the views , the colours 💕💕💕. The had clear instructions and sticky notes everywhere and there was no confusion. We stayed up for the campfire late, used the hot tub, grilled our meat, and had the time of our lives. Even though we just stayed for one night it felt really long. We are grateful for Todd and Karen and their amazing place with beautiful interior details. Will recommend this place.

Amazing spot and so peaceful for a little getaway. Everything was described as it is and Katrina was great!! She made sure everything was going well and was so nice of her to touch base to make sure. Unfortunately we had a bit of snow, but the hot tub was a great feature to have in that type of weather and cozy place. I can imagine how nice it is in the summer, will definitely back, highly recommend!!

Sarah’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a restful week away! We loved the included amenities and made sure to put them to good use. Whenever we needed something, Sarah was very prompt to answer and assist us! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend the beach house or one of her other two properties at the Inspire Beach Resort.

The romantic rustic cabin getaway was exactly what we were craving for a weekend escape! The cabin was so well decorated and had everything we needed. There were many thoughtful touches (chocolate covered strawberries at our arrival, dog treats and cute doggie bed, ample bottled water, nice robes). We had a great time using all the amenities too! The wood fire stove, propane fire pit, BBQ, and board games were all great additions that we had fun using. We loved having access to the hot tub and the spa-like indoor shower. Additionally, we really enjoyed walking around the snowy grounds as they were so beautiful. Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We can tell she really cares about hosting and curating a relaxing getaway for her guests. We highly recommend and will certainly be back!

We had a great time at Kate’s place. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect way to relax and unwind, especially in the snow. Kate was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

I found this place during the power outage, hoping to find somewhere warm to stay, I was pleasantly surprised as I have stayed in many Airbnb’s for pleasure/travel. This was the first time I have ever felt that every section of this place was so meticulous to the travelers stay! It’s dog friendly. I had my senior great day in there with my partner, and we will definitely be coming to visit again ! It’s the perfect little getaway from every day life for you and your partner. I absolutely adored staying here and the host is absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares about that place and who stays there.

We chose to cancel our trip to South Carolina due to the current USA administration's policies. We opted instead for an Ontario staycation and Highpoint Hideaway checked all of our boxes. It is so cozy and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood stove, the hot tub, the ambience and the natural setting. We went for some lovely walks and made all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was important to us to have our dog, and the cottage was a perfect spot for him. I highly recommend Highpoint Hideaway!
