The house was perfect for our holiday. The fenced garden was so nice for our toddler and dog so we didn't have to worry about the water. A real highlight was swimming in the river. The big veranda was lovely for lazy afternoons and braaing. The beds are very comfortable and lovely linen and towels. The kitchen has everything you need. Best if all you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere but there are shops and restaurants close by.

We had the best time all round!! Stardust Cottage is perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, has an extremely comfy bed and beautiful linen and Kevin is a fantastic host. The view from the cottage is stunning and although staying high up in the magnificent Berg was so peaceful, we were still close to many fun attractions. We have had many Air Bnb stays but this is most certainly one of the best!

We enjoyed our stay as a family. The river tubing was very exciting pity the fish were reluctant to take the bait (just a joke)

Beautiful location on the farm. Excellent breakaway to rest and escape the rush. Beautiful view of the mountains and surroundings. The kids could walk on the farm and see the farm animals up and close. We loved it

We booked Penny's place at the last minute and she was more than willing to assist us. The space is lovely, we enjoyed meals in the open plan kitchen with a view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The shower was piping hot and clean which was superb on a rainy cold weekend. Full dstv bouquet allowed us to enjoy the UCI XCO races. All in all, an incredibly pleasant weekend. Thanks Penny.

This was our fourth trip to the Drakensberg, having previously stayed at another Airbnb and a well-known lodge near Helen's place. Without a doubt, this was our best experience yet. The location strikes a perfect balance. It's conveniently close to the attractions of Champagne Valley – think chocolate and great hikes – while still offering wonderful peace and quiet. And those mountain views are truly something special. The accommodation itself is excellent. The two bedrooms are very spacious, each with its own bathroom and wonderfully large beds. We appreciated the blankets, heater, and the well-equipped kitchen with its large fridge. Having full DSTV and reliable Wi-Fi was a bonus for downtime, and the Weber was perfect for braais. The place is nicely furnished and genuinely feels like a comfortable home. Dealing with Helen was effortless. Extending our stay by an extra night was handled with no trouble at all. A definite 10/10, and we'll certainly be returning!

Was a lovely experience from start to finish. Tash is very nice and welcoming and provided any information we needed. The accommodation was beautiful- the decoration as well as the amenities (all were listed on the page) There was a stunning view of the mountain- lots of birds, an available trail to walk, and fishing. There is a fireplace and hot water that is perfect. We appreciate her helpfulness and hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay in a very well equipped cottage. The stairs to the loft are very steep. Perhaps a handrail on the side would make it easier and safer to get up and down. The location is awesome. Very peaceful, safe and secure. Would highly recommend staying here.
