The apartment was the perfect base for exploring Catania. The location is unbeatable as everything is at walking distance, and yet outside of the turistic area. Lots of things to do and try nearby, especially in the market. It really gives you a glance at the authentic sicilian everyday life. But what truly sets this place apart is the kidness of the host. Nausicaa is very friendly and understanding, very responsive to our needs and she really helped us through an unexpected event. Would highly recommend this apartament and would love to come back!

Paolo’s apartment is very centrally located and tastefully furnished, right in the heart of the city but tucked away on a quiet street. The beds were comfortable and everything in the flat worked efficiently. There’s efficient air-conditioning and good wi-fi. Paolo was friendly and helpful. I’d love to stay in his beautiful apartment again. Five stars!

Beautiful place, great location stunning view. Highly recommended. Short walk to the center with a famous park along the way. Walked through the park everyday in our way to the center. Absolutely loved the place. Would go there again on the next trip to the city.

Appartement très grand au niveau des chambres qui donnent sur la cour arrière. Très propre . A savoir, la terrasse n'est pas en direct depuis le logement, il faut prendre un petit escalier extérieur pour y accéder.

Gianluca was a tremendous host, the place was perfect for us and the views from the terrace are amazing. We also appreciated the little things like having plenty of bottled water, plenty of coffee, etc. Also, their restaurant right below the unit had the best food of anywhere we ate. We would definitely stay here again

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Emanuele ! Il nous a bien accueilli à notre arrivée, nous donnant plusieurs suggestions d'endroits à visiter à Catane. L'appartement est grand et superbe. Nous avons pu profiter des deux balcons et les deux airs climatisés était grandement appréciés. Le quartier est tranquille, près des services et marchés. Il y a un arrêt d'autobus pour Taormina à 5 minutes à pied, et la gare centrale est à 20 minutes, ce qui est très pratique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Tout s'est très bien passé chez Diego. Sa sœur nous a accueilli chaleureusement en nous donnant de bons conseils pour profiter pleinement de Taormina. Le logement est très joli et très bien équipé. Le petit exterieur est un vrai+ ! Le logement est également central et très proche de l'animation. Petit conseil si vous sejournez le samedi soir : il vaut mieux emporter des bouchons d'oreilles 😉

Ich war eine Woche in der Unterkunft und bin ganz dankbar und zufrieden. Maria, Italo und Tango 🐶 haben mich toll empfangen. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr lecker. 🥞 Die beiden sind ganz aufmerksam und haben immer Tipps für die Umgebung parat. Ich hatte ein Auto vor Ort und konnte problemlos auf dem Parkplatz parken. Die Umgebung kann man sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit Bus/Auto von dort super erkunden. Es war ein toller Urlaub und ich bin happy.

Our favorite stay in all of Sicily. Breathtaking views of the Isola Bella right out front! easy walk to that beach with cute restaurants and swimming. Barbara is super cool. Place is Magical.

Gennaro and his family are great and very kind hosts. Flat is located in clean and safe modern part of town just 20 minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo, trough authentic streets, old buildings, parks and local markets. AliBus Connection with Airport is perfect, AliBus station is just in the front of the building. Central bus station is 10 minutes walk down the streat. Local food stores and Lidl are located next to the building. Restaurants that Gennaro recommend are close and affordable with good food on the menu. Definitely we will come back again, highly recommend!

I would recommend it to everyone. Gianluca is very understanding, very flexible. We came with the kids early on Sunday and he checked us in much earlier, thank him very much for that. He also has his own tourist agency in the building and you can get all the information and best recommendations from him. Apartment is in the very center and everything is close, it is normal that it is sometimes a little noisy, but believe me, that is the advantage of Sicily itself. As for the apartment, everything is as in the pictures.

We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to return to Taormina one day and would look to stay here again. The space was really good and well presented. Comfy bed and nice shower. Yes, it overlooks the main road, but the double glazing is very good soundproofing and it really did not bother us at all. It was nice to have a sea view and the location for easy walking to the station and for walking up the hill to Taormina suited us very well indeed. Rosario met us when we arrived and was excellent at communicating and ensuring we had all we needed.

Catania is een enorm levendige stad. Direct aan het appartement zijn leuke barretjes. ‘s Avonds is het er druk en gezellig, maar het appartement is redelijk goed tegen het geluid geïsoleerd. Wie echt perfecte stilte nodig heeft om in slaap te vallen, kiest beter een andere plek, wie graag nog een cocktail pakt in een gezellige buurt, zit hier goed.

An ideal base to explore Taormina and Etna from. The rooms were large, and the welcome pack of food and drink was very much appreciated. Such a beautiful view and the jacuzzi made it perfect.

Siamo stati a Catania a gennaio di questo anno. L'appartamento è in zona centrale e si arriva la vicino con la macchina (l'appartamento è in zona ZTL). La casa è poco luminosa, ma è perfetta per un weekend lungo. È dotata di ogni tecnologia e comfort. Acqua filtrata e anche frizzante dal rubinetto della cucina. Doccia e vasca apprezzatissime, letto comodo. Consigliato!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon getaway at Roberto’s Airbnb in Sicily! The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, private, and beautifully maintained. The views from the property were absolutely unbeatable and made our stay even more special. The location was fantastic, with plenty of charming restaurants within walking distance, as well as easy access to the bus stop and the cable car to Taormina. It made exploring the area a breeze! Roberto went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of prosecco and plenty of snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch after our travels. He also provided excellent local recommendations, especially helpful during the rainy days we encountered. We truly enjoyed our time at Roberto's home and can’t wait to return on our next visit to Sicily. Highly recommend!

Superb location, right in the heart of Catania. Loads of superb local restaurants, fish market and the Elephant statue/ Cathedral on your doorstep. Terrace was amazing with stunning views of Etna and the town, beds comfy and a jacuzzi bath to ease the aches from volcano climbing (and two bathrooms was a plus). 200 yards from the airport bus on our return. Just be aware, as other reviews have said, it can get noisy in the evenings until late and noisy in the early mornings as they set-up in the market. I took earplugs and slept well but do consider this. Otherwise a fantastic place to stay.

The host is very friendly and very responsive. The place is very clean and with great view. We had great time and definitely will stay here again in the future.

Sadly I became sick during my trip but even tho it was nice to stay in the apartment for a few days and just laying in the bed. Additionally, the host immediately tryed to help me with asking for medication or other things that he could buy to help me.

The apartment is exceptional. The location could not be better - next to the Fish Market, Piazza Duomo, Via Etnea. Piazza Borsellino is a 3-minute walk away (buses - Interbus from/to Siracusa, Alibus to the airport), the central bus station is about a 20-minute walk away (buses from/to Taormina). The apartment itself is sparkling clean, huge, with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very comfortable for a group of 4 people. There is a washing machine and dryer, which saved us from carrying extra luggage. The hosts had provided us with a huge amount of Italian coffee and water.🥰 They recommended restaurants and Sicilian specialties. Thank you!

Livio's place is spectacular, and we could not have wished for a more beautiful home during our stay in Catania. The apartment is a stunning 18th century noble Sicilian palace, which has been carefully restored and is difficult to explain in words. We spent hours staring at the ornate ceilings, it makes you feel like royalty. The location is perfect, with dozens of restaurants steps away, and daily markets of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish right outside your door. Livio is a fantastic host, who always went above and beyond for us. He arranged parking for our vehicle, helped us with our luggage, and was very quick to respond anytime we had a question. Easily one of my best stays on AirBnb. Thank you Livio! Highly recommend, A++
