We travel often and have stayed in many places, but this one was wonderful and peaceful and clean! We will definitely try to come back and stay again next year. The home is conveniently located to many activities in the area. The host was great and very friendly. I would recommend Crystal Cove Dock home to anyone visiting this area. The hosts made their home very warm and welcoming with easy simple instructions. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make a meal and the whole house was so clean. It was a refreshing stay!

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

First off, Wendy is a spectacular human! She was the sweetest! I messaged her to see if we could check in a little early, not only could we check in early she let us know it was ready before the early check-in! She checked on us to see if we needed anything done around the house, leaves or wanted the Christmas decor down! It was just outstanding and we loved the Christmas decor! The boat dock was so peaceful and was my workout everyday!!! We will be back for sure!! It’s like we are family now!

Dan’s home is lovely and clean. Well stocked with everything one would need. We enjoyed our stay very much! Great host, who was very responsive.

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a 'girls' weekend' at the lake. Karen's place was absolutely perfect and she was an exceptional host. We did have a small issue with the AC, which Karen corrected immediately. She was very responsive, very friendly, and very accommodating. (Plus this AirBnb comes with a DOG!! Sam is the sweetest goodest boy). We would definitely return to Karen's place and highly recommend it.

I can't say enough about Lisa's home! It had everything listed and more. The thoughtfulness in the little details made this the best experience we have had with an Airbnb. This home is beautiful and the amenities at the lake were perfect. Our family had a wonderful week and hope to do it again in the future.

The Airbnb’s was in a perfect location with many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit, back porch and movie room as well as numerous games. The lake was low & the water was cold while there so we didn’t get to enjoy the water toys. ( end of March) However, we definitely plan to go back. The place was SO clean, cozy and comfortable with so much to do . If you get bored here you have a problem. The host was so accommodating. Margie even gave us a carton and of fresh eggs from their chickens. They were quick to respond to questions. Even though this is a basement apartment it didn’t feel like it because of the extra tall ceilings. Their at-least 12ft ceilings. I can’t say enough positive things about the place and the host. Doug even came down to help us with projector in the media room when we couldn’t follow simple instructions. He had left very good detailed instructions. The movie room is awesome!!! We will definitely be back!

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, and would rate this as one of the most peaceful, places we have stayed. The home was very clean, modern and had everything we needed and more. The hosts were so amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home- which we absolutely did! I have already recommended this stay to several of my friends and look forward to coming back.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

Our stay at Anya’s was absolutely wonderful! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Anya is an amazing host—warm, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure we had a seamless experience from start to finish. The location was perfect, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. We would love to come back and highly recommend Anya’s to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!

My husband and I have been taking our family on mid-winter excursions for over 20 years. In the last 10+ years we’ve added 2 son-in-laws and 6 grandkids. Alternating between Georgia and East TN, this has easily been one of our favorite getaways. Our grandkids loved the downstairs area they felt was especially provided for them, but lured the rest of us too! While we had several options for activities in the area to keep the kids occupied over the long weekend, it wasn’t necessary as they preferred to stay at the cabin and enjoy all the fun and games provided along with movies and popcorn made in the vintage looking popcorn cart! The cabin is lovely and very well stocked in every way. There was an issue with the heat-pump, but our communication was seamless with the Fordham’s and they had technicians sent out quickly to look into the situation. The cabin is set in a quiet, lovely location that affords privacy and relaxation. We would definitely recommend Lake Dakwa Lodge.

The yard and view of the pond is spectacular. The front lawn is basically a little hiking trail that’s a lot of fun. The home was as described and looks like the pictures. We would return.

We enjoyed a short but peaceful stay at Mae's. Amenities were great. The lake was beautiful. Thank you for being a responsive and understanding host!

Cheryl's cabin was the perfect getaway! It was clean and better than the pictures. Lots of amenities provided when we got there (games, outdoor play area, hot tub, ect). Loved waking up and enjoying the peaceful nature and the nearby stream. The location was within a 20-30 minute drive of beautiful wineries and a cute downtown with shops and restaurants. Hope to be back in the future!

Please don’t second guess this location. Everything was just like the pictures clean,neat. Plenty of space. We didn’t go anywhere there is plenty for the kids to do because it was a Spring Break Trip for the grandkids and they enjoyed themselves. I do plan on revisiting with adults because of the patio setup.CheckIn went great!! Great host!! I appreciate them for allowing us to visit their place!!!

My husband, teenage children and our dogs spent a long weekend at Britton's cabin. The beautiful view of the mountains and lake can be appreciated from almost every place in the cabin which is great because the views are incredible! The two floors of the cabin are a nice feature allowing parents and kids to have some alone time as needed. We really enjoyed kayaking across the lake and hanging out on the upper deck of the dock. Britton was a great host responding quickly to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on going back in the future. We would highly recommend Britton's place! It has everything you need for a nice vacation or weekend stay.

WOW. Just wow. This cabin was so magical. Such a nice change from the hustle of the city. From the moment we stepped foot on to the property I was in awe of the beauty. From the pond in the yard to the surrounding scenery, I never wanted to leave. The cabin itself was so cute. Very clean and had everything you needed to feel right at home. We had such an amazing time here at the cabin. Lots to do from hiking right near the cabin to horseback riding and going to near by wineries. Do yourself a favor and book this cabin as your next stay! You won’t regret it !
