Vi togs emot föredömligt av Kurt, fick hjälp med att komma tillrätta och gavs många fina tips om vad vi kunde göra för utflykter mm Barnen fick fiska från den enorma bryggan medan vi vuxna bekvämt satt vid fikabordet i solen och höll tummarna för att de skulle få napp. Alla hade det skönt och bra under hela 6-dagarsvistelsen och mycket av det berodde på själva boendet och Kurt. Tack så mycket! Vi rekommenderar verkligen detta boende! Peter & Nora

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans le logement de Henny Karoline, et c’était un plaisir. L’appartement était extrêmement propre, et bien rangé. Il dispose de tout le nécessaire et la place de parking est un plus. Je recommande fortement.

Tolle Unterkunft mit wunderschöner Umgebung und super Lage. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A great little apartment in a super location. A short drive to many of Lofoten’s main attractions and with views of some epic mountains from the kitchen/living room. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the whole apartment was very clean on arrival. The host answered fast and gave good instructions on how to locate the place.

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The place was just like in the pictures. Peaceful, clean and close to the beach :) We stayed almost a week and we had a good time.

Vi tillbringade en vecka i Lenas lägenhet. Vi stormtrivdes från första stund. Lägenheten är kärleksfullt och smakfullt renoverad i gammal stil. Utsikten över hamninloppet är magisk.. man ser massa olika båtar som tyst glider förbi, vattnets olika färger och nivåer beroende på väder och vind, och även alla charmiga små hus på andra sidan. Och i bakgrunden tornar majestätiska berg… helt otroligt!! Lena är en fantastisk värd. Hjälpsam och lätt att nå och kändes direkt som en kär gammal vän. Vi besteg Festvågstinden i Henningsvær men hade även slagläge till många andra sevärdheter på Lofoten. Vi kommer att längta tillbaks varenda dag ♥️

Lovely place, feels very spacious and homey, has everything you need to be cozy and to make home cooked meals. Would recommend!

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Absolutely brilliant stay! The place is beautiful and in a great location. Plenty of space and great amenities available. The shower was great! Hege was really responsive and really helpful. I can’t fault it. I had a great stay and would love to stay again!

Beautiful Home and very responsive host

What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

Wow, what an incredible experience. All the comfort and modern luxury set amongst the harsh environment makes for memories that will last a very long time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything about the accommodation was very well thought out, practical, modern, comfortable, fully equipped and visually stunning. Credit to Cato & Solveig for putting so much love and effort into turning this piece of history into something that anyone who cares to visit to enjoy. The were lovely hosts to interact with. Thank You for the experience. We would love to come back.

Hermund è davvero attento e sempre disponibile per ogni dubbio. La casa è inbima posizione fantastica con una bellissima vista sul fiordo e sulle montagne. É dotata di tutto il necessario e anche di più. Perfetta per scialpinisti sia come posizione che come dotazioni della casa (spazi per asciugare scarponi e sci). Speriamo di poter tornare presto, assolutamente consigliato.

really enjoyed our week at Barstrand. Hans Ole was great in providing us with information and recommendations before and during our stay :) every question and problem was swiftly take care of. Fully recommend it for a relaxed stay with view in the sea :)

Charming house in a wonderful location, right next to the sea. The views from the living room and the rooms are just gorgeous. During rainy days we loved staying in the house just watching the sea, the mountains and the little houses on the shore. The house has everything you might need. Although the stairs to the rooms upstairs might seem a bit steep at first, you quickly get used to them and we actually ended up loving them, as part of the authenticity and the charm of the house. Absolutely recommendable.

I stayed in several places during my trip across Norway, but this Airbnb in Svolvær was by far the best experience I had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The cabin is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped, every single thing you might need is already there, thoughtfully prepared with care and attention. It felt instantly safe, warm, and homey, which is rare to find. What made this stay truly unforgettable was our host. He was so present, kind, and generous, sharing local tips, stories, and our passion for photography. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, observe splendid auroras from the backyard and feel truly welcomed, this is the one. Clean, conveniently located place in Svolvær. Heating works exceptionally well which is important in March in Lofoten! Karina was a great host, very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Clear instructions regarding the check in and check out. Supermarkets and city centre not far away (10 min walk). In the close proximity of the flat there is a body of water called Gardsosen where we saw grey herons and a couple different species of ducks, and at night were able to observe the Northern Lights!

Sehr schöne und moderne Unterkunft! Nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Henningsvær Stadion entfernt, ins Zentrum läuft man etwas weiter. Das Auto kann man jedoch auch direkt vor der Türe parken! Die einzige Kritik wäre, dass die Balkontür etwas klemmt und der Thermostat im Schlafzimmer nichts angezeigt hat (dadurch konnten wir es nicht tiefer stellen, es war sehr warm). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
