The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

Wow, what an incredible experience. All the comfort and modern luxury set amongst the harsh environment makes for memories that will last a very long time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything about the accommodation was very well thought out, practical, modern, comfortable, fully equipped and visually stunning. Credit to Cato & Solveig for putting so much love and effort into turning this piece of history into something that anyone who cares to visit to enjoy. The were lovely hosts to interact with. Wir haben uns in diesem gemütlichen und modern eingerichteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Da wir im Winter da waren haben wir den direkt ans Haus angeschlossenen Carport sehr zu schätzen gewusst, um jederzeit trocken ins Haus zu kommen. Es ist zentral auf Lofoten gelegen, ein Supermarkt ist im Ort, im nahen Leknes gibt es viele weitere Läden. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns Tipps zum Sehen der Nordlichter gegeben. Diese Unterkunft kann man sorgenfrei buchen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages wieder kommen!

We had an amazing stay at Kine's place! Kine was such a friendly and responsive host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The atmosphere of the house was fantastic, and it comfortably fit all five of us. The location is stunning, with incredible views right in front of the jetty. The home appliances were also top-notch, making our stay even more convenient and comfortable. To top it off, we were able to watch the northern lights from the yard – an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Wir hatten eine wirklich sehr gute Zeit in der Unterkunft. Rune/Yngvar waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist toll eingerichten und liegt schön ruhig. Ich kann nicht einen einzigen negativen Punkt berichten. Ich kann die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank

Et fantastisk sted med terrasse med utsikt over hele havnen. Leilighet i 2 etg med badstue, steamdursj og fra 1 etg utgang rett på kaia. Flott og koselig leilighet, med det meste av utstyr. Parkering 200 meter bort for, med kr 200,- i døgn pris. Anbefales virkelig.

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Cozily, lavishly with style, opulently decorated house. Beautiful scenery visible through window. Spacious room and living room and kitchen and parking space. Just awesome. Thanks for giving us a memorable day!

Cathrine’s place is very nice with great views of the mountains and we witnessed the awesome Northern Lights from the porch. The place is super clean and Cathrine was a wonderful host.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach super! Die Lodge ist sehr schön und modern, optimal eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit allem was man sich wünschen kann. Die Räumlichkeiten sind gross und einladend, ebenso die Badezimmer. Der Aussenbereich lädt ein zum verweilen, mit einer grossen Terasse, einer bequemen Lounge und einem Aussenkamin. Die Inserat Fotos entsprechen vollkommen der Realität. Die Lage, direkt am Wasser ist einfach nur herrlich und optimal als Ausgangspunkt um die Vesteralen oder die Lofoten zu erkunden. Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Gastgeber waren unglaublich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit mit allem. Yngvar hat uns in jeglichen Belangen unterstützt, sei es mit Auskünften oder sogar mit der Beschaffung eines grösseren Tiefkühlers :-) Vielen Dank nochmal :-) Wir haben wirklich alles an dieser Unterkunft und unserem Aufenthalt geliebt. Wir würden die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Es ist einfach nur perfekt.

An amazing piece of architecture with a beautiful view, and in a perfectly located spot. This was one of our favorite stays on any of our travels so far. Right off the main road for easy access to come and go, and a grocery right down the road. We also saw the northern lights almost every single night we stayed, and never left the house to find them because the views are just that good from this home. You can even view them over the ocean while lying in bed which is very magical and *warm*. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week long stay as well. Can’t wait to come back and bring our friends and family to stay at this house! Book this, you definitely won’t regret it.

Nydelig, innholdsrikt hus. Moderne og fint bad og kjøkken. Andre rom var det gammel stil som gjorde huset svært koselig. Mye fint å se på i huset. Praktisk med døgnåpen butikk rett over gata.

The house is very well cared for and beautifully situated with great views and access to a cool walk along the water. It sits at the end of a road in a quirky local neighborhood. It has everything you need including a washer and dryer, a lovely modern bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. Great base to see lots of popular hikes. Also very close to the super cute village of Nusfjord. The only problem was staying up way too late each night to look out the windows.

De woning heeft inderdaad een uitzicht dat je niet vaak zal tegenkomen en is voorzien van alle luxe die je maar wenst. Veel privacy, licht lucht en ruimte op een paar km van de plaats Stokmarknes. In deze plaats vind je alle hoognodige zaken met name in één van de vele supermarkten. Het brood bij de locale bakker is heerlijk. Het is dus een uitstekend vertrekpunt voor sightseeing en een van de vele indrukwekkende wandelingen in de Vesteralen.

Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Von dort aus konnten wir in aller Ruhe die Lofoten erkunden und Abends entspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a great stay in Eggum! We liked the peaceful location. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kid particularly enjoyed the toy trains when we were in the house :)
