This is a luxurious place to stay… it is close to the beach and proved to be very relaxed and quiet. Both hosts were friendly and responsive. Definitely preferable to staying in Gisborne!

We were blown away by the very pleasant home after a long drive on twisty roads. I especially loved the recliners that allowed a relaxing change from the car. The beds were great, although sleep time was too short since we met our guide for Mt. Hikurangi at 4:00 am. In short, it was an amazing experience and one we will remember for a long time.

Great accommodation. Perfect location, close to everything. Apartment was amazing, clean and right by the port. Meet David for check in and he was great and was an easy check in process.

Stunning location. Stepping out onto the beach was absolutely divine Geraldine was a lovely host, responsive and helpful. Very cute location. I would love to go back. Very doable to get to Gisborne especially if you hire a car.

We had a wonderful stay at a beach front unit. Jaki was very proactive in communication and friendly. Walk to the beach is only a few minutes away. Kitchen and bathroom are clean with all the amenities we needed. Nice comfortable beds.

2nd time I’ve been here will come again. Here is Gisborne for work and was happy to see this available. Lovely and peaceful.

We loved staying at Sally’s place overlooking beautiful Wainui beach. The accommodation had everything we needed and more. It was wonderful waking up to see the sunrise from the living room every morning. The viewing deck overlooking the beach was our favourite spot to watch the waves and activity on the water. The best place to stay for a relaxing break.

Janet's apartment was perfect for our needs. Janet is an accommodating, helpful, kind and generous host. We cannot speak highly enough of Janet's kindness during the period of our family bereavement. We highly recommend Janet's apartment if you want a clean, comfortable, central place to stay in Opotiki.

Great, peaceful location. Walking distance to restaurants, reserve (park) with playground, and a beautiful beach. Matt & his family were great hosts. We enjoyed the afternoon chats in the sunny front yard..... and the Heinekens!
