Great house with all amenities.

The pictures don't lie! I can't imagine a lovelier scene or a better place to appreciate it.This is a spacious, comfortable house above the fjord with lots of light and broad views both down and across the water. We were kept indoors for a couple of rainy days and still didn't feel cooped up. The house, at the end of the road, provides both peace and privacy. The nearby village of Saebo is small, but free of cruise ships and masses of tourists; larger communities are not distant for shopping, restaurants, and charging EVs. Per Ove could not have been a better host - I had lots of questions before we arrived, and he always answered promptly and fully. He was also ready to respond to any questions we had about the house and area while we were there. What most impressed me: he knew we were driving from Oslo and texted us while we were on the road to tell us that the usual route into Saebo (the one shown on our GPS guide) was closed, giving us the alternate route we would need to take.

I had an exceptional stay at this accommodation. The location is perfect, offering stunning views, and everything you need is conveniently close by. The house owner is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The living room is wonderfully cozy, furnished with great taste, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The space is also very spacious and fully equipped, providing all the comfort and enjoyment you could ask for. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the home matches the photos exactly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already considering returning for another stay in the future. Highly recommend.

Het grote gerenoveerde huis heeft ons geboden zoals verwacht. Schoon, erg ruim, rustig en erg prettig. Formidabele omgeving. Voor een herhaling vatbaar.

منزل جميل و أنيق مريح و كأنك في منزلك وكانت karete لطيفة جداً و مفيدة ، قريب من المنزل سوبرماركت SPAR و Extra ومخبز جيد ، الطريق للجزيرة يحتاج العبور عبر نفق متعب قليلاً و الذهاب إلى مدينة Ålesund يحتاج عبارة للسيارة بقيمة تقريباً 93كرونة نرويجية ، أنصح بهذا المنزل

Fantastisk og innholdsrikt hus med høy og moderne standard, samtidig som det beholder en gammel sjarm! Høns med ferske egg og snille griser i hagen var et stort bonus for oss. Vertene var behjelpelige og imøtekommende til våre behov. Vi kunne føle oss som hjemme med alle fasiliteter vi kunne ha trengt, både ute og inne. Håper å komme tilbake!

We spent 15 days with our toddler, with a visit of my grown-up daughter during a few days. We had a rental car. The area is quiet, the terrasse is great with a great view, neighbourgs are friendly and welcoming. Good distance to Alesund accessible in 15 minutes, and access to eastern fjords and ferry very easy. We did a few hikes in the vicinity, with majestic views from the top. Geiranger and Trollstingen are both worth the day trip. Alesund is a lovely city.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und vor allem groß! Die Lage war super für alle möglichen Unternehmungen, und der Kontakt mit Ashild war problemlos. Ein Strand ist in fußläufiger Reichweite

A wonderful spot for a family getaway! We stayed here for a week and found it perfect for our family of four.

Such a nice place!!! We have spent 2 wonderful days at Anne-Kari’s place. The apartment is really super nice and everything we needed was available. And on top of it the environment is an absolute dream. Anne-Kari was helpful, friendly and responsive. Thanks 🙏!!

Leiligheten er koselig, plassert i den vakreste Gjerdsvika, kommunikasjon med Jan-Ove var veldig easy! Anbefales! :)

Väga tore ja külalislahke majutaja. Tundsin ennast nagu kodus. Mul oli 2 väga toredat nädalat puhkust seal. Majutuskoht asub ilusas asukohas.

Bodde hos Steffen i forbindelse med jobbreise og var et veldig godt alternativ til hotell. Det var mitt første møte med Airbnb, men absolutt ikke det siste.

For oss som skulle besøke to studenter, var dette helt innertier. Fantastisk leilighet, fantastisk vertskap. Neste gang vi skal tilbake til Ålesund , skal vi bo her igjen!

Awesome. Eddie is an amazing host. Location is beautiful beyond description. Also close to molde and andalsnes besides Alesund. Eddie and his family are just incredible. We stayed for a month and me and my wife wanted to stay longer. I highly recommend the place. The home is very cozy and comfortable.
