We absolutely loved our stay. beautiful house, great hosts and practical location. we found a couple of new places to visit whilst we were there, dumpling hill and the Aber trail to shore wood - both beautiful and crowd free. house was comfortable, beautifully decorated and everything you need to have a lovely family holiday. we loved the hot tub, views and house. Riley was really helpful even loaning us some kids things to save on our packing. we will look forward to coming back.

Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

Beautiful house, absolutely neat & clean, kitchen is fully equipped, provides all necessities of day to day, both shower rooms are clean- - - don’t hesitate to 5 stars, the host is very friendly, very responsive. A group of 9 of us headed down for a stag do and were very impressed with the property. It was extremely clean and spacious with a beautiful modern interior. The downstairs cellar/bar area was a great place to relax and play pool and a lot of us made use of the spacious hot tub as well. The property was easy to find and had everything we needed, everyone had a great time. We had a little bit of trouble with the lockbox situation and the keyfob for the barrier to the car park but that was possibly just because it was dark. All in all we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is a beautiful house to stay with friends and family. Spacious and clean, with beautiful bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a well equipped kitchen with a large kitchen table. Utility room (so practical when you travel with a small group). Pool table and hot tub (the latter cost extra but is well maintained and so worth it!). Great local walks and a brilliant playground nearby. Close to Sterling and Glasgow with all their attractions. In sum, we can’t wait to return!

The house was brilliant. Had everything you need for a stay. The host had gone out of his way to decorate with Christmas decorations and even included a wee hamper for us. Everything was clean. Lots of bars, restaurants and walks nearby.

James was a great host. The place was nice and clean, and the good location made it even better. The convenience of the location added to the overall experience, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Had an excellent stay here for my sisters 40th birthday. Great location and very close to Balloch for food, drinks and a walk. Would definitely come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lodge. Our host Jaqcui was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We found the place to be immaculately clean but also cosy and homely feel. Hot tub was spotless with a great view! Would love to return at some point!

Andrea was amazing, warm welcome right from the check in and gave an informative house tour. The house was beautiful even with the pictures it was just even better in person from the pond to even a view of the loch. Amazing host with amazing marshmallows and fire place, will defo be returning for the summer 🫶🏻🫶🏻

What a beautiful place to stay in the middle of the hills nice and quiet and the hot tub was a family favourite thanks to Alexander and all his family for making us so welcome 5 stars

Gorgeous lodge with the most amazing views, so peaceful. Kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals, especially the lambs. Hot tub was a big hit also. Very friendly hosts who have thought of everything. Can’t wait to return.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

The cabin was lovely, candles were lit for us arriving and candle burner was on too - relaxing sounds on the tv too - i thought was cute and a nice touch. Was nice and cosey for us arriving. Hot tub was ready. I struggled to get onto the WiFi but i think i was connecting to the wrong one, got there in the end as Erin was on hand to assist. Hot tub was great, my son loved it as did i. It was good that you could watch Netflix and all the usual aswell as play board games if you wish, we brought our own but will use on our next visit and will definitely be back. Has everything you need, shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, toaster microwave fridge freezer and halogen oven which i used to cook our pizza. I do think an air fryer would be a good asset as long as if was clwan by guests acted each use. I genuinely don’t have anything negative to say which is unlike me lol. The bed was soooooo soooooo comfortable too - has the best night sleep and loved the fairy lights on the bed x

A perfect stay. We spent the weekend here and it was everything and more from the listing. The cabin was beautiful and cosy and was just what was needed for a quiet few days away. The hot tub was a dream especially in the cold weather and snow. Lynda was a great host. I would recommend this to friends and family; we would look at coming back in the future.

The pod was amazing - immaculate, views incredible and had everything you could need. The hot tub was great and maree went above and beyond for us to ensure we could enjoy all the amenities! Can’t wait to return
