The apartment wasn’t easy to find as Google Maps doesn’t know where 13 Carrochan Gardens is. It seems to think that it is the last house on Mackenzie Drive, so it sent us down there. Maybe some instructions on finding the place might be useful. Once in, everything was as described, very clean, very comfortable and high quality. Highly recommended. The only slight fly in the ointment was that the apartment overlooks a noisy busy road. Everything else was first class.

Andrea was amazing, warm welcome right from the check in and gave an informative house tour. The house was beautiful even with the pictures it was just even better in person from the pond to even a view of the loch. Amazing host with amazing marshmallows and fire place, will defo be returning for the summer 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Well what can I say? Rita’s place is just magical in every way. With a bubbling river running alongside the property and a rushing waterfall outside the bedroom windows, no sounds around you except nature and a beautiful interior decor that matches both the original building and the natural aesthetic outside just perfectly. The home has been carefully thought out with cosily furnished nooks and crannies from which you can see the surroundings from all angles. The kitchen is well kitted out with everything you might need, the bathroom is somehow stunningly filled with antique pieces yet still modernised with a classy waterfall shower that is just fab, the beds are the so comfy you don’t want to leave them. At the end of the day, curling up in front of the log fire and watching the waterfall is just amazing. Our host was very responsive, checking in with us to make sure we were comfy and had everything we needed. Thank you, Rita, for a wonderful stay! We will be back soon no doubt! ☺

Beautiful setting here with clear instructions for check in. An easy walk to The Duck Bay hotel with restaurants was a very nice addition here. Anne was very helpful and quick to answer any questions that we may have had. Would recommend a stay here.

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

Very happy to recommend this property. Good communication from host, stunning location, everything in good condition, a few local bars and restaurants. Under 5 minutes walk to railway station, right on the riverside path, 10-15 minutes walk to loch.

We had a fantastic stay here for my mum's 60th birthday. Heather and Colin were very helpful, responsive hosts and couldn't have been more lovely throughout the booking process and during our stay! The house is exactly as described/pictured and has lots of activities fit for all the family. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future. Thank you! ☺️

We had a wonderful time staying at this Airbnb during our visit to Loch Lomond. The location was perfect—close to restaurants, the water, and boat cruises, with several lovely walking paths nearby. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby castle and appreciated the convenience of being centrally located near the train and bus stations, making it easy to take a bus trip to Luss. The home had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, and we were pleasantly surprised by the snacks left for us. The owner was extremely responsive, answering our questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Loch Lomond!
